SSS Rank Class Awakening: My Army Has No End
Chapter 49 -=49//50
Chapter 49: Chapter=49//50
Department Head Colin Whitmore’s face had turned pale.
Regret filled his eyes.
If they had known that Nathaniel Beaumont was an SSS-Rank professional who had already completed his first advancement, they would never have dared to challenge him.
Less than a week had passed since his awakening. Yet he had already reached a level that most professionals could only dream of.
They had badly misjudged him.
Colin lowered his head. The other executives followed.
Nathaniel looked at them without showing any emotion.
"Do you understand now?"
"Yes, Young Master," Colin replied at once.
Nathaniel’s gaze swept across the executives.
"From today onward, all decision-making authority in the Beaumont Trading Consortium returns to the Beaumont family. I will take control of every major matter concerning the consortium."
No one dared to object.
"Your previous claims to authority and control are revoked. You will no longer make decisions behind my back or act against the interests of the Beaumont family."
The executives remained silent.
Nathaniel continued, "However, I won’t dismiss everyone or dismantle the organization. The consortium still needs people who understand its operations. You may keep your current positions and continue managing your respective departments."
The executives exchanged glances.
They had expected Nathaniel to remove them from their positions. Instead, he had stripped them of their power while allowing them to continue working.
It was mercy, but it came with a clear warning.
Their positions would remain. Their authority, however, belonged to Nathaniel.
"Do you have anything to say?" he asked.
Colin stepped forward and bowed.
"I have no objections. I will follow your orders."
Victoria Shaw lowered her head.
"I will serve the Beaumont Trading Consortium faithfully."
Marcus Reed and Ethan Cole followed.
"We pledge our loyalty to you, Young Master."
Nathaniel studied them for a moment before giving a slight nod.
"Good. Remember your words."
He had no need to threaten them further. They had witnessed the strength of his Shadow Soldiers with their own eyes. They understood the difference between their power and his.
The matter was settled.
Uncle George finally let out a long breath.
He looked at Nathaniel, his eyes filled with relief and emotion. He had watched the young man grow up. Now, the same young man had reclaimed control of the family business through his own strength.
Daniel stood beside His excitement was clear.
"Brother Nathaniel..."
He wanted to say more, but the words failed him.
Nathaniel turned toward them.
"Uncle George, Daniel. You can put your worries aside now."
Uncle George nodded.
"Your parents would be proud of you."
Nathaniel glanced at the main seat.
"I won’t let their hard work go to waste."
The guests nearby had heard their exchange.
Many had come expecting a power struggle within the Beaumont Trading Consortium. Instead, they had witnessed Nathaniel defeat the executives and take back control of his family’s business.
His strength had impressed them.
But his decision to spare the executives’ positions had impressed them even more.
He could have removed them all. He had chosen not to.
He understood that defeating his opponents was only one part of taking control. Keeping the consortium running was just as important.
Above the clouds, two figures watched the scene.
The middle-aged man in the grey robe looked down with approval.
"Not bad. He has courage, strength, and judgment. He knows when to be ruthless and when to show restraint."
The man in black remained quiet.
The middle-aged man continued, "He values his family, understands the importance of loyalty, and knows how to handle people. His performance today was better than I expected."
The man in black finally spoke.
"Nathaniel Beaumont has passed the assessment."
The middle-aged man nodded.
"Indeed."
Below them, the gathering continued.
Just then, Edmund Sterling received a message. His expression changed as he read it.
Adrian Cross noticed.
"City Lord, what happened?"
"We’ve found a clue concerning the mole."
Adrian’s expression became serious.
"Then we should return at once."
Edmund nodded.
Before leaving, he walked over to Nathaniel and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Well done."
Nathaniel gave him a respectful nod.
"Thank you, City Lord."
Edmund left with Adrian. They still had an important matter to investigate.
The remaining guests soon approached Nathaniel.
"Congratulations, Young Master Beaumont!"
"Your strength is truly remarkable."
"The Beaumont Trading Consortium is in good hands."
Nathaniel accepted their congratulations with a calm expression.
He knew that many of these people had once looked down on him. Their attitude had changed after witnessing his strength.
He did not care about their sudden praise.
What mattered was that the Beaumont family had regained control of its business.
After the guests finished congratulating him, Nathaniel walked toward the main seat.
It had once belonged to his parents.
He paused for a moment before sitting down.
The hall fell quiet.
The executives stood nearby. Uncle George and Daniel watched from the side.
One of the staff members stepped forward and bowed.
"Young Master Beaumont."
The others followed.
"Young Master!"
Nathaniel looked across the hall.
The Beaumont Trading Consortium now had its rightful head.
And everyone present knew it.

Chapter 50: Recruitment by the High Command!
Nathaniel looked toward Uncle George.
"Uncle George."
Uncle George hurried forward.
"Young Master."
Nathaniel said, "From now on, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily management of the Beaumont Trading Consortium."
Uncle George was stunned.
"Me?"
Nathaniel nodded.
"You have worked beside my parents for many years. You understand how the Beaumont Trading Consortium operates."
"I trust you."
Uncle George opened his mouth.
"But Young Master, the Beaumont Trading Consortium is enormous..."
"Don’t worry. The department heads will continue handling their own business operations."
"Your responsibility is to supervise them and make sure everything runs smoothly."
Uncle George remained silent for a few seconds before finally nodding.
"Yes, Young Master."
"Rest assured. I will look after the Beaumont Trading Consortium."
Colin Whitmore and the other executives lowered their heads.
"We will cooperate fully with Uncle George."
Nathaniel looked across the crowd.
"The Beaumont Trading Consortium is important. But in this world, strength is the foundation of everything."
"If my parents were still here, none of you would have dared to entertain those thoughts."
"And if I didn’t possess enough strength, I wouldn’t be sitting here today."
The hall fell silent.
His words were direct, but no one could refute them.
Nathaniel continued.
"Therefore, I won’t spend all my time dealing with the daily affairs of the Beaumont Trading Consortium."
"I must continue to improve my strength."
"The consortium will be responsible for resources, business channels, and intelligence."
"Uncle George will oversee its daily management."
"You are all responsible for carrying out your duties properly."
"Any questions?"
Everyone answered together.
"No!"
Their voices were firm and united.
They understood Nathaniel’s meaning.
It wasn’t that he intended to neglect the Beaumont Trading Consortium. He wanted the organization to become his support, not a burden that consumed his time.
For an SSS-Rank First-Turn genius, wasting time on daily accounts and disputes over business channels would be foolish.
The stronger Nathaniel became, the more secure the Beaumont Trading Consortium would be.
Just then, Nathaniel sensed something unusual.
Everyone in the hall had stopped moving.
Uncle George remained frozen in his bowing posture.
Colin Whitmore and the other executives had stopped moving as well.
Even the dust floating in the air seemed to have lost all motion.
Nathaniel’s eyes narrowed.
Shadow Soldiers appeared behind him in an instant.
But before he could make another move, a calm voice sounded.
"There’s no need to be nervous."
"They have only been temporarily stopped by us."
"Some matters are not suitable for too many people to hear."
Nathaniel turned around.
Two figures had appeared in the center of the hall without making a sound.
The man in black stood with a calm expression. His aura was unfathomable.
Beside him, the middle-aged man in the grey robe wore a faint smile. His eyes held clear appreciation as he looked at Nathaniel.o
Nathaniel did nojt lower his guard.
"Who are you?"
The middle-aged man in the grey robe smiled.
"Allow me to introduce myself."
"I am a member of the High Command."
The man in black spoke next.
"I’m an instructor with the High Command."
Nathaniel’s eyes flickered.
He had never heard of them.
However, the fact that they could enter the headquarters of the Beaumont Trading Consortium without being noticed, then freeze everyone in the hall with a single move, told him enough.
Their strength was far beyond anyone he had encountered before.
The middle-aged man in the grey robe noticed Nathaniel’s confusion and smiled.
"It’s normal that you haven’t heard of us."
"The High Command isn’t an organization that ordinary professionals can come into contact with."
The instructor in black spoke in a calm voice.
"The High Command is the special protection force of the Aurelian Alliance."
"It operates directly under the highest authority of the Aurelian Alliance. It is not controlled by local governments, does not recruit openly, and does not accept ordinary recommendations."
"Only the finest geniuses from across the entire alliance are gathered there."
Nathaniel’s pupils contracted slightly.
The entire Aurelian Alliance?
The finest geniuses from every region?
The middle-aged man continued, his tone carrying a hint of amusement.
"Take the so-called geniuses of Westmere, for example. Your former classmate, Caleb Rowan, is one of them."
"In Westmere, he can be considered quite talented."
"In the provincial capital, he might even receive special attention."
"But in the High Command, he doesn’t even meet the requirements to participate in the assessment."
The instructor in black added,
"Under normal circumstances, only the most outstanding graduates of the Five Top Academies are qualified to come into contact with the High Command’s assessment."
"You should know about the Five Top Academies by now, shouldn’t you?"
Nathaniel nodded.
The Five Top Academies of the Aurelian Alliance.
They were the dream of countless young professionals, including him.
Over the past ten years, Westmere had produced only three students who managed to enter one of those academies.
Each of them had become famous throughout the city.
Yet graduating from one of the Five Top Academies was merely a basic requirement for approaching the High Command?
The middle-aged man looked at Nathaniel with a smile.
"Do you understand now why no one from the Five Top Academies came looking for you, despite all the attention you’ve attracted?"
Nathaniel paused.
He had wondered about this before.
He had awakened a hidden class, received an SSS rating in the novice dungeon, and killed a powerful member of the Bloodfang Syndicate at school.
Even if the Five Top Academies were slow to respond, he had expected someone to contact him.
But nobody had appeared.
Now, he understood.
Someone had intercepted the matter before it reached them.
The instructor in black spoke without changing his expression.
"Because the Five Top Academies aren’t qualified to compete for someone the High Command has already taken an interest in."
His tone was calm, almost casual.
Yet the arrogance behind those words was unmistakable.
Nathaniel finally understood the weight carried by the words High Command.
He took a breath before asking,
"So you’ve been watching me from the beginning?"
The instructor in black nodded.
"Yes. We began observing you after you killed those members of the lion Syndicate."
Nathaniel narrowed his eyes slightly.
The instructor looked directly at him.
"Now, I can give you the result."
"Nathaniel Beaumont, you have passed the High Command’s assessment."
"On behalf of the High Command, I formally invite you to join us."
Nathaniel didn’t accept immediately.
The instructor studied his expression.
"Are you unwilling?"
The middle-aged man in the grey robe looked somewhat surprised.
"Young man, do you understand how many people dream of joining the High Command?"
"You’re only a First-Turn professional. Even those Third-Turn geniuses from the Five Top Academies would be too excited to sleep after hearing this offer."
Nathaniel answered slowly.
"It’s not that I don’t want to join."
"It’s just that I have things I need to do."
The instructor nodded. He seemed to have expected this answer.
"Your parents encountered a spatial storm during an Abyss Rift mission."
"But you don’t believe they died."
"You’ve been pushing yourself to level up over these past few days because you want to grow stronger as quickly as possible, reach the front lines, and search for clues about their whereabouts."
The instructor looked at Nathaniel.
"You’re worried that joining the High Command will restrict your freedom."
"That its rules and responsibilities will slow your progress."
"More importantly, you’re afraid it will delay your journey to the front lines and your search for your parents."
Nathaniel did not deny it.
If joining the High Command meant being bound by endless rules and restrictions, then even the strongest organization in the Aurelian Alliance would be of little use to him.
The instructor spoke calmly.
"Then you’ve misunderstood."
"The High Command is the place where professionals can level up the fastest in the entire Aurelian Alliance."
Nathaniel’s interest was piqued.
The middle-aged man smiled.
"You should have noticed by now that not all dungeons are equal."
Nathaniel nodded.
Even dungeons of the same level could have vastly different rewards.
Normal, Hard, Nightmare, and Hell difficulties offered different amounts of experience and different drop rates.
The quality of the dungeon itself also mattered.
Some dungeons were filled with monsters, offered abundant experience, and had valuable drops.
Others were long and tedious, yet gave pitiful rewards.
The instructor continued.
"An outer city like Westmere has very few high-level dungeons."
"At your current rate of growth, you’ll soon discover that relying on Westmere’s dungeons will become less and less efficient."
Nathaniel fell silent.
The instructor was right.
Westmere was only a peripheral city.
Its dungeons and resources were enough for low-level professionals.
But once someone reached a truly high level, the city could no longer provide the resources needed for rapid growth.
And Nathaniel had no intention of slowing down.
