SSS Awakening: Starting With Infinite Soul Copy
Chapter 333: In Soon
GROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWL!
The devilish roar continued to reverberate throughout the advancing army as White slowly lifted one of his six enlarged arms before curling every finger into a fist, the mere movement causing layers of the surrounding atmosphere to rupture apart beneath the overwhelming physical force contained within his transformed body.
Then...
He disappeared.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The planet exploded beneath the force of his first step.
Entire mountain ranges instantly collapsed into craters stretching for hundreds of kilometers while countless Hellish Centaurs standing directly before him never even realized he had moved, their colossal bodies suddenly bursting apart into clouds of black flesh and shattered armor beneath the shockwave alone.
White appeared directly within the center of the marching army.
Not above them.
Within them.
His enormous frame immediately vanished beneath a sea of towering demonic soldiers as tens of thousands of crimson weapons descended toward him simultaneously, every blade, spear, axe and halberd carrying enough destructive force to reduce continents into nothingness.
They never reached him.
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG!
White swung one arm.
Nothing more.
The surrounding space folded beneath the force released from that casual motion before violently erupting outward.
Millions of tons of compressed air became an invisible wall of destruction that tore through the advancing ranks, instantly reducing tens of thousands of Hellish Centaurs into shattered fragments of flesh, armor, bone and black blood before continuing onward for hundreds of kilometers, carving an enormous empty corridor straight through the seemingly endless army.
There was no hesitation.
No pause.
No satisfaction.
White continued walking.
Every step crushed hundreds beneath his feet before they even realized death had reached them, while each of his remaining five arms moved independently from one another with terrifying precision.
One hand grabbed a Hellish Centaur by the face before crushing the entire skull between two fingers.
Another caught a descending battle axe before driving it backward through its owner’s chest together with half a dozen warriors standing behind him.
A third arm reached outward, seizing two charging Centaurs by their horse-like hind legs before swinging their gigantic bodies through the surrounding army with enough force to pulp every warrior unfortunate enough to stand in their path.
Black blood exploded endlessly around him.
Entire limbs were ripped away.
Gigantic torsos split apart beneath his claws before their upper and lower bodies continued flying in opposite directions, smashing through dozens more members of the advancing army.
Still...
They continued advancing.
Not one retreated.
Not one hesitated.
The first rows disappeared.
Then the second.
Then the third.
Yet the ocean of Hellish Centaurs simply flowed inward once more, immediately filling every gap left behind by those White had slaughtered, their disciplined march remaining unchanged despite the incomprehensible massacre unfolding before them.
From high above, the battlefield resembled a tiny point of darkness continuously swallowing an endless black ocean.
Only that every second...
Millions disappeared.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
White’s upper right fist descended.
The earth beneath it ceased existing.
A crater hundreds of kilometers across instantly formed before a violent eruption of shattered stone and black blood blasted toward the heavens, carrying with it countless broken bodies whose remains continued falling back upon their own army like a rain of mangled flesh.
His lower left arm immediately reached into that rain.
Its claws wrapped around the neck of another gigantic Centaur before effortlessly tearing the entire upper humanoid body away from the horse-like lower half.
The corpse had not even begun falling before White had already driven it like a spear through another advancing formation, impaling dozens together before releasing it and continuing forward without ever slowing his pace.
The battlefield no longer resembled a war.
It had become an execution.
And the most horrifying part...
The Hellish Centaurs did not care.
Their enormous hooves continued pounding against the trembling world with perfect discipline, countless fresh warriors endlessly replacing those who had just been reduced to nothing more than rivers of black blood spreading across the already broken landscape.
Their race possessed no understanding of fear.
No understanding of retreat.
No understanding of death.
They knew only one command.
Advance.
And White answered that command with nothing but overwhelming slaughter.
VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The battlefield exploded into motion once more.
The endless sea of Hellish Centaurs no longer continued charging mindlessly from a single direction, but instead divided with terrifying discipline into countless formations that surged toward White from every side of the shattered world, their colossal bodies moving like the tides of a black ocean whose only purpose was to bury a single existence beneath overwhelming numbers.
Millions arrived simultaneously.
The heavens disappeared behind descending weapons.
Axes.
Spears.
Halberds.
Towering greatswords.
Every single one descended together, carrying enough destructive force to tear apart worlds.
White answered with violence.
His six colossal arms erupted into motion with such speed that even space itself failed to properly register their movements, leaving nothing but countless black ripples spreading outward as every punch, every claw, every swing birthed another massacre within the advancing army.
One arm punched forward.
The Hellish Centaur directly before him ceased existing.
The force refused to stop there.
The compressed impact tore through thousands standing behind him before finally exploding hundreds of kilometers away, leaving behind an enormous tunnel carved entirely through flesh, armor and earth alike.
Another arm swept horizontally.
The surrounding landscape disappeared.
Entire regiments were lifted from the ground before being crushed together beneath overwhelming force, their gigantic armored bodies folding inward like paper until nothing remained except torrents of black blood raining endlessly across the battlefield.
Still...
They advanced.
The first ranks died.
The second replaced them.
Then the third.
Then the fourth.
Their discipline never broke.
Not one of them looked toward the corpses accumulating around them.
Not one hesitated after witnessing entire battalions erased within a single heartbeat.
Their race possessed no fear.
No hesitation.
Only war.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Thousands of crimson runes suddenly ignited throughout the battlefield.
The Hellish Centaurs had begun sacrificing themselves.
Entire legions slammed their own weapons into the earth before their bodies instantly erupted into spheres of condensed destruction, each detonation powerful enough to erase cities from existence as millions willingly detonated together in perfect synchronization.
The world disappeared beneath endless explosions.
Fire.
Darkness.
Crimson lightning.
Everything merged into one all-consuming inferno stretching beyond the horizon.
The bombardment continued without pause.
Every time White emerged from one explosion, another million willingly gave their lives before him, replacing themselves with another expanding sea of destruction.
It would have overwhelmed almost any existence.
Yet standing within the endless bombardment...
White’s monstrous body quietly regenerated.
Torn flesh knitted together before the fragments had even finished separating.
Broken muscles reconstructed themselves faster than the explosions could destroy them.
The violet runes covering his enormous frame only burned brighter with every impact received.
And then...
Something changed.
His aura deepened.
Not through released energy.
Through accumulated slaughter.
Every corpse surrounding him.
Every battlefield soaked in blood.
Every act of destruction.
Everything continuously flowed back into the Devil standing at the battlefield’s center.
The surrounding atmosphere suddenly grew heavier.
The Hellish Centaurs closest to him found their movements becoming slower, their enormous bodies instinctively resisting the overwhelming pressure radiating from White’s transformed existence.
Without realizing it...
He had grown stronger.
Again.
White slowly raised one of his enlarged hands before closing it into a fist.
"Too weak."
He muttered.
Then punched downward.
KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The planet screamed.
A continent-sized section of the battlefield instantly collapsed beneath the overwhelming physical force released from that single strike, the earth folding inward before erupting skyward together with tens of millions of Hellish Centaurs whose armored bodies were crushed into black mist before they could even comprehend what had happened.
The crater continued expanding.
One thousand kilometers.
Two thousand.
Three thousand.
It refused to stop.
The force continued traveling through the planet itself, splitting continents apart while oceans of molten stone erupted from beneath the world’s crust.
And still...
The army continued marching.
The survivors merely stepped over the remains of the countless millions that had just vanished, lowering their crimson weapons before charging the Devil once more, perfectly accepting that they too would become nothing more than the next layer beneath the ever-growing mountain of corpses surrounding White.
Only now...
That mountain had begun reaching the clouds.
