The class could only watch dumbly as mirages of fists filled the battle stage, rapidly flashing through the air.

Yet a figure moved even faster than the fists themselves, effortlessly dodging every strike without the slightest change in his expression.

"How the hell is he dodging those fists so easily? It’s almost like he can predict them..."

One of the students asked in surprise as they watched Arlo flash through the countless attacks.

’He is fast. Very fast!’ Mrs. Lillith thought, her eyebrows knitting together.

’His speed is still within a normal range, but strangely, every single strike keeps passing at exactly five inches from his nose. That is what is really strange,’ Chris thought.

He had noticed the precise distance Arlo maintained while dodging the attacks.

Even after more than a dozen strikes, the distance had neither decreased nor increased beyond those five inches, something that piqued his curiosity.

"You! You pussy! Can’t you even fight back!?" Vael roared as he punched furiously with all his strength.

Yet he could only watch in dismay as Arlo dodged everything with the same expression he had worn since the beginning of the fight.

He could not even land the slightest hit on the face he had been itching to punch ever since he had been forced to become Arlo’s babysitter.

Stepping to the side and dodging another fist that skimmed past his ear, Arlo tapped his foot against the ground three times before leaping ten meters backward, away from Vael.

Vael came to a stop, slightly bent over with his hands resting on his knees as he breathed heavily from exhaustion.

"You are already exhausted?" Arlo asked with a raised eyebrow, looking at Vael as he panted like a dog.

’He is strangely slow, yet his punches carry so much weight,’ Arlo thought.

[He is not slow! You’re the one who is too fast.] the System explained to him.

Arlo furrowed his eyebrows, but he was forced to direct his attention back to Vael when he felt the air around him quivering.

"I had thought I would go easy on you, Arlo, but you forced me to change my mind by not taking the fight seriously. You gave me no choice," Vael said in a dark tone.

Immediately, he crouched on all fours, the bones throughout his body writhing as he began to grow larger and larger, transforming into a dark-skinned monster.

Monstrous claws scratched against the ground, sinking into it like a knife through butter, while three long tentacles pierced out from Vael’s spine, each one stretching about twelve meters and almost covering the entire length of the battle area.

[Wow, his tentacles are very long, and I thought they grew from the lower part of the Vorath spine, close to their butt. Why are his growing from the middle of the upper part of his spine?]

The System notification panel flickered in front of his face as Arlo’s eyebrows creased in surprise.

"Let me see you keep playing around now, Arlo. Hehehe..."

An abyssal, mocking laugh rang out from Vael’s lips as he raised his face, revealing the hideous veins covering it and making him resemble a devil from hell.

Right now, his strange horns were glowing with a dark purple light, having grown to about twenty centimeters long, more than twice their usual length.

"Hmm, seems I will also have to get serious..." Arlo mused, but suddenly, he watched one of the tentacles flash toward him with incredible speed.

GRAAAAB!

In the next instant, he felt something wrap around his leg, lifting him into the air and dragging him forward at incredible speed.

At the end of his vision was Vael, grinning evilly as his right claws lit up with a ruinous purple light, preparing to cleave Arlo in two the moment the tentacle dragged him close enough.

"Hmph," Arlo snorted coldly as he arrived before Vael, whose claws immediately cleaved toward his face.

BAAAAAAANG!

A reverberation of energy followed as Arlo’s kick slammed roughly against the claw, stopping it in its tracks.

VROOOOOM!

The air parted as Arlo suddenly kicked toward Vael’s face, but Vael was quick enough to release Arlo’s leg and raise both hands to his face to block the attack.

BAAAAAANG!

An even louder reverberation rang out as Arlo’s leg smashed roughly into Vael’s raised arms, sending him skidding backward.

His claws dragged against the ground until he finally came to a stop five meters away.

With his leg released, Arlo landed on the ground, taking three steps backward before finally stopping his own momentum.

"He finally attacked... and... and I lost!?"

Vael asked in disbelief as he looked at the line carved into the wooden ground, revealing how far he had been forced backward by the attack.

ROOOOOOOOOOARRRR!

An incredibly loud beastly roar echoed through the entire class, shaking the ground beneath them.

Even Arlo’s expression changed dramatically as he saw Vael suddenly disappear from right in front of him, only for his presence to appear above his head in the next split second.

"WHAT THE!? HOW IS HE SO FAST!?"

Arlo screamed in shock as he slammed his leg into the ground and shot backward.

BOOOOOOOOOOM!

A gigantic crater appeared where he had been standing, sending a chill down his spine as Vael appeared in front of him once more, his claws slashing forward with horrifying speed.

So fast, in fact, that a mirage of nearly twenty claws appeared in front of Arlo in less than five seconds.

"I can’t dodge those..." Arlo thought, and in the next instant,

"War Demon Stance: Unending Death Fist!"

BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

The ground gave way as Arlo roughly smashed his left leg into it, his hands jerking backward.

BOOOM!

A muffled boom resonated as Arlo forcefully clenched his fists, and in the next instant, he raised his head toward the claw mirages, and violently began punching forward.

BAAANG!

BAAANG!

BAAANG!

BAAANG!

BAAANG!

BAAANG!

Unending. Unstoppable. Unblockable.

Those were the only words that could describe the fists as a dark aura surrounded Arlo’s hands, and he relentlessly punched forward against the incoming claws, ripping them apart in less than ten punches.

"Too Weak!"

Arlo called out, his feet smashing roughly into the ground as he shot forward toward Vael.

His body bent horizontally toward the ground before he punched forward with the entirety of his body weight.

BOOOOOOOOOOM!

The air along the path of his fist was blown away, circular shockwaves surrounding his fist, and even Vael’s expression changed.

ROOOOOOOOOAR!

Roaring angrily, an even larger purple wave of energy coated Vael’s claws, the destructive aura rising by another notch as he slashed forward four times within the span of two seconds.

BAAANG!

BAAANG!

BAAANG!

BAAANG!

Helplessly, the claw marks were easily ripped apart as Arlo’s fist appeared right in front of Vael’s shocked face, and then.

KABOOOOOM!

CREEEAK!

The sound of a final explosion and crunching bones reverberated as Arlo’s fist connected with Vael’s chest, lifting him off his feet, and then...

BAAAANG!

The barrier fiercely shook, its light dimming considerably as Vael smashed into it, blood running down the side of his lips.

Yet his eyes flashed in shock as he looked up and saw Arlo now only a few inches away, his right leg raised and an abyssal grin spread across his face.

"Hehe."

BAAAAAANG!

The barrier gave way immediately, Arlo’s leg tearing through it completely as Vael rolled to the side and quickly rose to his feet.

His eyes flashed in shock as he stared at the hole that had been created in the barrier, and a single thought appeared in his head.

’I would have been knocked out by that kick.’

"You still have time to think? How interesting..."

The words rang out from behind Vael, causing his eyes to flash toward the front, where Arlo was slowly fading away into the air.

"IMPOSSIBLE!"

[ARLO, WAKE UP!]

KABOOOOOM!

KABOOOOOOOOOOOM!

A devastating explosion of energy rippled through the entire barrier, causing the ground beneath the students to vibrate violently.

Each of them felt their bodies uncontrollably jerk upward.

"What the hell!?" some students shouted in shock, their gazes quickly snapping toward the barrier where the fight had taken place.

The sight before them made each of them raise an eyebrow.

Vael stood there dumbly, and beside him was a gigantic crater more than a meter deep, with burning-hot smoke rising from it.

Slowly, Arlo lifted his leg from the crater and gently stepped away from Vael.

"I think you lost..." he said as the entire class stared at him dumbfounded, Mrs. Lillith included.

Even Vael was more than shocked, his face dripping with sweat as he looked at the steaming crater on the ground.

He knew very well that if Arlo had actually landed that kick, he could have been grievously injured, as Hael had actually jumped up and descended down with that kick, its target being his head.

If it had landed on his head, then who knew what would have truly happend.

"He... He defeated Vael without even changing into his Vorath form!?" a student asked in shock as they looked at the crater beside Vael, knowing well that if that kick had landed, the young man would have needed to be rushed to the hospital, or he could have died for sure.

"The spar is over. The winner is Arlo!"

Mrs. Lillith called out as the barrier surrounding them faded into thin air.

After revealing just how serious their mistake had been, she explained that Hael could have ended the fight within seconds but had instead chosen to drag it out longer than necessary before asking both students to return to their respective seats.
