Vael said angrily as Arlo furrowed his eyebrows and turned toward the Class A students.

"And that isn’t even the cruelest part."

"They have the bag and could be hiding away with it yet they all decided to sit in one place and place it beneath their feet. That just shows how insane their pride and deeply ingrained arrogance are."

Vael continued as Arlo remained quiet, then slowly, his poker-faced expression disappeared.

In its place appeared a sinister grin.

"What’s with that smile?"

"Oh, nothing. I just think I’m going to go have a word or two with them. You know, some gentleman talks."

Arlo said as he slowly rolled up the sleeves of his uniform.

"Bloody hell! Wait! Wait, Arlo, are you mad?!"

Vael immediately grabbed his hand and pulled him back.

"What’s it?"

"Oh-oh-oh, nothing. Just the fact that they already have their hawk eyes on you because of your so-called disrespect during the previous phase of the test, you know, by ranking above them."

"They’ve been discussing you for quite a while now, saying they hope you come here and try to play the hero."

"That’ll give them a good reason to properly tear you apart, Arlo. You’re smart enough to understand what I’m saying, aren’t you?"

"Of course, I am!"

Arlo responded as Vael looked at him dubiously before slowly releasing his hand.

"Good. Look, there are eighty of us here, all carrying the same hatred. I’m sure sooner or later, someone will finally reach their breaking point and snap!"

"Then all hell will break loose."

"But please, don’t be the fire that starts it, okay?"

Vael said as Arlo nodded obediently.

"Okay, got it!"

"Good. Even though I know you’re very stupid, I’m still surprised by the little intelligence you show sometimes."

Vael said as he slowly turned his gaze away from the Class A students and looked back toward Arlo.

Only...Arlo had vanished into thin air.

"Arlo? Arlo! No! No! No! No! No! No! Please!"

Vael repeatedly cried out, biting down on his fingers as he slowly turned his gaze toward the center.

And just as he feared, Arlo had already crossed the invisible boundary formed by the crowd and was walking directly toward the group.

"Bloody hell! Arlo, wait!"

Vael shouted as he rushed after him, yet he failed to catch up as Arlo continued moving farther and farther away until he finally arrived before the group of fifty.

"Shit! Shit! I know he’s stupid! Huu... huuu... What can I do? Think of something with that big brain of yours, Vael! Think, think!"

Vael muttered under his breath, struggling to calm himself as he desperately tried to come up with a solution.

Then, only a few seconds later, a plan formed in his mind.

"Hmmmm, just like you predicted, Luciana. He really did come here..."

The voice belonged to none other than a gray-eyed, snow-white-haired young man speaking to a girl sitting not too far away.

"Now that he’s here before us, what should we do?"

A random Class A student asked quietly.

The answer came from the very front of the group, belonging to none other than Stellan.

"We wreck him!"

_______________

"Hello A’s. Seems you’re all having quite the resting time."

Arlo called out as he casually waltzed toward the group, a slight skip in his steps.

Soon, he arrived just a few centimeters away from them, waving with the smile of someone greeting long-lost friends.

"And what did you come here to do... tomboy?"

One of the Class A students sneered.

Arlo slowly turned his gaze toward him before walking in his direction with a laugh.

"Oh, you want to have a conversation with me? I guess that starts with me sitting down before then..."

Arlo said as he approached the young man, who looked at him in confusion.

However, it only lasted for a few seconds.

The young man quickly realized Arlo’s intentions and immediately rose to his feet, clenching his fist as he prepared to throw a particularly heavy punch.

Yet!

BAAAAANG!

"AHHHHH!"

Cries of surprise erupted from the Class A students as they watched one of their own get violently blasted into the distance.

His body crashed through tree after tree, snapping and destroying them without pause before he completely disappeared from sight.

"Sheesh, he really does have a hard skull. Hehe!"

Arlo laughed, completely ignoring the dumbfounded gazes he received from practically everyone present.

He glanced at the bag lying on the ground before comfortably taking the poor student’s spot and sitting down.

He then casually placed his leg over the bag.

BEEEP!

Immediately, the timer began recording his points, and Arlo turned away from it satisfied before looking to ceiling above.

"Ahhhhhh, what a really nice and cool area to hide away from the merciless heat of the sun."

Arlo mused as he turned toward the Class A students with a smug expression.

Then suddenly, his eyes widened.

He jerked slightly to the side and stared at the girl sitting beside him in shock.

"You!"

Arlo suddenly screamed.

The girl slowly turned her uninterested yet slightly surprised gaze toward him, one eyebrow raised.

"You’re Bores Frost! The third-ranked student from the first phase of the event?!"

Arlo exclaimed.

Before she could even understand what was happening, he had already grabbed both her hands and begun playing with them.

"How dare you! You pervert!"

Bores yelled as she slapped his hands away, her eyes filled with utter disgust.

"Ow, that’s harsh. All I wanted to do was greet a new model of mine..."

Arlo said, rubbing his stinging hands.

"Hmph, I’m no model of yours! Never was, never will be. Besides, if I were you, I’d pay more attention to my surroundings..."

She said, gesturing to the side with her head.

Arlo looked around, and noticed almost every Class A student had now risen from their seats.

They tightly surrounded him, their bags rolling back and forth in their hands.

"What’s with the increasing temperature? I thought we’re all just chilling here?"

Arlo asked, only to receive loud scoffs in response.

"Oh, we’re sorry you’re so blind that you couldn’t notice, but unfortunately, we only chill with people of our own set, and that doesn’t include you."

"So, best leave like the coward you are..."

One of them threatened fiercely while the others slammed their bags against their palms while baring their fangs at him.

"Okay, okay, whatever. I’ll leave..."

Arlo responded as he slowly rose to his feet with a small sigh.

"I guess the meeting between us today was fated to be short, my lady. But time favors the righteous ones like us, doesn’t it..."

Arlo said sadly, reaching for Bores’ hand as though he intended to give it the official kiss of a royal prince.

Yet all he received was a cold snort as she kept her hands to herself.

"I’d rather this be our last meeting!"

Bores replied.

Arlo could only turn back toward the other students.

"So...bye?" Have fun chilling, I guess. I’ll just, you know, find a place of my own, hmm?"

Arlo said as he slowly attempted to walk away, the bag clutched firmly in his hand.

Yet the group gave him no room to leave.

Their gazes slowly shifted toward the bag.

"Hmm, hmm. You leave, but the bag stays."

They demanded.

A gleam cross through Arlo’s eyes, his smile struggling to not shift to a grin.

"And what if I don’t, hmm?!"

Arlo asked tauntingly.

What he received were sinister grins and low cackles as they laughed among themselves.

Then suddenly...the atmosphere changed.

"WRECK HIMMMMMM!!!"

"HYYYAAAAAHH!!!"

BOOOOOOM!

BOOOOM!

BAAAAAANG!

Immediately, clouds of dust exploded into the air as the entire area descended into chaos.

The students surrounding the Class A group watched as students like themselves were suddenly sent flying through the air, tossed around like rag dolls.

Their bags were thrown everywhere as well, flying through the battlefield and becoming more than available for anyone daring enough to grab them!

"NOW IS OUR CHANCE!!!! GET THEM!!!"

A voice suddenly roared from within the crowd, and coincidentally, it belonged to none other than Vael.

The other class of students finally snapped out of their fear and immediately, they charged into the battlefield.

The sounds of fists and bags slamming violently against flesh resounded throughout the area.

_______

"YAAAAH! HEY! THAT’S MY BUTT!"

"YOU BLIND PIECE OF SHIT! DO YOU KNOW WHO THE HELL I AM?!"

"OH FUCK YOU, YOU BASTARD!"

"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!"]

Soon, massive clouds of dark smoke created by the continuous use of Mana began rising into the sky.

The Class A students were pitted against practically every other student present.

While they were undoubtedly powerful, they were vastly outnumbered, and their opponents were anything but merciful.

Within such absolute chaos, no one cared about face or reputation anymore.

Everyone used whatever they could get their hands on, ranging from dirty tricks to outright smashing bags against their opponents’ skulls.

____________

"Well, this is definitely not one of the scenes we expected, is it? I’m very sorry for their uncontrollable behavior, Vice-Chancellor..."

One of the teachers apologized, with the others quickly following suit.

They all sat nervously in their seats, with half their bodies practically lifted from them while their fingers repeatedly clicked against one another.

For the mighty Vice-Chancellor to witness such a wild and barbaric scene from the students assigned under their care.

This alone was more than enough reason for the entire Outer-Season event to be canceled.

"This...This!"

The Vice-Chancellor muttered, leading to the pressure in the room rising as the teachers bit their lips even harder.
