SSS Awakening: Conquering Worlds with My Cupid System
Chapter 275: Alpha’s Evolution: the Veiled Wing of Eros
Far beyond the mortal realm, in a void where conceptual space bent and twisted like silk, a pair of pink eyes widened to their absolute limit. The entity was shrouded in shifting cosmic light; only her luminous pink eyes, long energy-like hair that drifted like solar flares, and the soft, radiant outline of a feminine silhouette were visible.
"That power... It can’t be..." Her voice was impossibly soft, sweet, and intoxicatingly seductive, even as sheer shock laced every syllable. "No, it’s not possible..."
She leaned forward, her eyes reflecting the residual ripples of an authority that should have been extinguished at the dawn of creation.
"But... only he possesses that level of control over fate. Cupid is supposed to be dead..."
She raised a pale hand, intending to reach through the dimensional tapestry to track the signature.
"Wait!"
Her tone abruptly turned frightened as a blinding wave of pink energy, streaked with blinding solar gold, detonated across the cosmos. The light flooded the void, engulfing her form and causing her pink eyes to flare with a radiant, divine light.
A second passed.
The golden-pink light receded, washing back into the fabric of time. The being blinked, the shock gone from her eyes, replaced by an expression of serene, slightly dazed innocence.
She tilted her head, her energy-like hair flowing lazily over her shoulders.
"Hmm?... What happened? Where’s my tea?" she asked softly, looking around the quiet void in total confusion. The divine reset had touched far more than just the mortal world- it had rewritten the cosmic record itself.

The recovery speed of an S-Rank was insane, but that of an SSS-Rank was downright diabolical.
In just a few short minutes, Silas was up on his feet as though nothing had ever happened to him. The contrast between the boy who had been lying battered on the verge of death and the boy who was now briskly walking around the field hospital, checking the condition of his teammates, left the surrounding health officials utterly speechless.
"Sir, please! You need to lie back down! Your chest sternum was-" a young medic pleaded, clutching a clipboard and following Silas with frantic steps.
"I’m fine, really," Silas said, waving his hand nonchalantly as Chloe walked right beside him, her fingers firmly laced with his. She refused to let go, though her icy composure had returned to her face, subtly threatening any medical worker who tried to force Silas onto a stretcher.
Across the medical pavilion, the rest of the Valecrest team was recovering steadily. Thanks to high-tier elixirs and their own impressive biological resilience, several of them were already sitting up.
"I’m telling you, the guy’s built out of localized steel," Victor grunted, flexing his newly bandaged arm while looking over at Silas. "I saw him take a full-force blow from that cannibal leader and he just kept swinging."
"It’s absurd," Neil agreed, leaning back against his pillows. "I tried copying a fraction of his physical output during the fight, and my muscles nearly tore off the bone. His baseline stats are terrifying."
"He saved us," Alicia murmured softly from her bed, her bear-transformation wounds tightly wrapped in enchanted gauze. "If he hadn’t taken the brunt of Swef’s domain..."
Sitting on the edge of his bed, Damien gritted his teeth, his knuckles turning white as he stared at the floor. Despite having witnessed Silas’s crushing display of strength- a performance that should have earned his absolute respect- the obsessive, bitter hatred in Damien’s heart remained unyielding.
It irked him to his very core. He hated how easily Silas held everyone’s admiration, hated how effortless his power seemed, and above all, hated that he owed his very life to the guy he despised most.
Silas ignored the glances from the rest of the tent, stepping over to the far side of the medical bay for the tenth time.
Alpha lay on a low cot, completely motionless.
While everyone else was waking up and chatting, Alpha remained in a state of unnatural stillness. His breathing was shallow, his pale skin flushed, and a thick heat radiated off his body like an open furnace.
"He’s still not waking up?" Chloe asked softly, her brow furrowing in concern as she looked down at the silent boy.
"No," Silas muttered, his pink eyes narrowing. "And his temperature is spiking way higher than a normal fever."
Silas reached out, placing his palm firmly against Alpha’s burning forehead. The moment his skin made contact with Alpha’s, Silas’s vision suddenly snapped to black. The sounds of the medical tent vanished, replaced by a sudden vision that materialized in the center of his mind. ℯℯ𝑙.
In the void of his consciousness, Silas saw the shimmering outline of a figure floating in divine light. The figure bore Alpha’s face, but its features were refined into a breathtaking, ethereal perfection.
A delicate, glowing cloth covered the upper half of his face, flanked by two small, feathery wings fluttering near his temples. Above his head hovered a celestial halo of pure silver light, and from his back extended two magnificent, iridescent wings that shimmered between shadow and soft pink light.
Before Silas could even process the sight, a crisp, translucent interface chimed directly into his mind.

Silas pulled his hand back, blinking rapidly as his vision returned to the medical tent. He looked down at the unconscious boy on the cot, a slow, amused smirk gradually spreading across his lips.
"Well, well," Silas whispered to himself, lightly tapping his chin. "Looks like my little outburst woke up something very interesting inside you, Alpha."
