Zich’s gaze fell upon the stone building situated along the side of the goblin settlement, and a trace of excitement flashed through his eyes. Clearly, after seeing the supplies Slimy had discovered earlier, he was already growing impatient.

However, Nadia, who was standing beside him, did not immediately qlllllllllqagree. Instead, she carefully examined the roads surrounding the warehouse, her brows gradually furrowing.

"The guards at the warehouse entrance shouldn’t be difficult to deal with, but there are at least three patrol teams nearby. If we make too much noise when we attack, I’m afraid it won’t take long before those goblins surround us from every direction."

"That’s exactly why we need to finish this quickly."

Zich smiled and pointed toward the rear of the warehouse.

The stone warehouse stood against the rocky wall of the underground cavern, with large quantities of timber and rubble piled along both sides. Behind the building was a section of ancient stone wall that had already collapsed, conveniently concealing the narrow path leading toward the rear entrance.

If they started from their current position on the stone corridor, circled around the nearby beast pens, and used the rubble and timber as cover, they could quietly approach the back of the warehouse without alerting the guards at the front.

"You’ll deal with the guards at the main entrance and hold off any goblins that come to reinforce them. I’ll enter from behind and clear out the ones inside. Once we’ve collected everything, we’ll retreat immediately."

"Retreat?"

Nadia turned toward him.

"Where exactly are you planning to retreat?"

"Back here, of course."

Zich pointed toward the stone corridor beneath their feet, a meaningful smile appearing on his face.

Nadia was momentarily stunned, but she quickly understood.

"That position swapping skill of yours?"

"Exactly.

Zich nodded.

After spending some time together, the two had already developed a certain understanding of each other’s abilities, so there was no need to waste time explaining.

His Spirit Exchange allowed him to instantly swap positions with one of his contracted summons, while Nadia possessed a similar method of movement through her contracted beast.

As long as they arranged their escape route beforehand, even if they alerted the entire goblin settlement, there would be no reason for them to foolishly fight their way out through the front.

With that thought, Zich raised his right hand.

Buzz!

Accompanied by an extremely faint fluctuation of soul energy, a slender figure silently appeared within the shadows of the stone corridor.

Its dark yellow chitinous shell, long and slender limbs, and sharp proboscis extending from its head immediately revealed its identity.

It was his summon, Blood Leech!

"Stay here and keep yourself hidden." Zich instructed in a low voice.

Blood Leech made no sound as it lowers it’s body before activating Silent Steps and quietly retreating into the shadows behind the collapsed stone wall.

After confirming its position, Zich nodded in satisfaction.

With this, the coordinate needed for their retreat was ready.

"Let’s move."

As soon as he finished speaking, Zich took Slimy, who was perched on his shoulder, and quietly departed along the other side of the stone corridor.

Meanwhile, Nadia circled around in the opposite direction, heading toward the warehouse’s main entrance.

...

At the same time.

At the warehouse entrance.

A goblin responsible for guarding the entrance was squatting beside the wall, holding a rusty little knife and absentmindedly picking strands of meat from between its teeth. Occasionally, it let out a few incomprehensible mutters.

Beside it, another goblin had just finished carrying two heavy sacks of ore.

Exhausted and panting, it casually leaned its spear against the wall before reaching out to snatch the waterskin hanging from its companion’s waist.

"Gah! Gah gah!"

"Garu!"

The two goblins began arguing, pushing and shoving each other, neither willing to back down.

However, just as they were fighting over the waterskin, a pair of cold eyes suddenly lit up within the shadows behind the nearby stone wall!

The next instant!

Roar!

An enormous snow white figure suddenly lunged out from the darkness!

It was the Nether Eye White Tiger!

The goblin squatting beside the entrance did not even have time to understand what was happening before an enormous tiger paw slammed it to the ground, its sharp claws instantly piercing through the creature’s worn leather armor.

Splurt!

Blood splattered everywhere!

Meanwhile, the other goblin had just grabbed the spear leaning against the wall and was preparing to shout for help when a silver white flash swept across its neck!

At some point, Nadia had appeared beside the white tiger.

With a casual flick of the short blade in her hand, she shook the blood from its edge.

In the blink of an eye, both guards had lost their lives.

Almost at the exact same moment, behind the warehouse dark shadow suddenly flashed past a small window beside the stone wall!

Shadow Blink!

Swoosh!

Zich’s figure instantly appeared inside the warehouse.

The moment his feet touched the ground, he had already taken in his surroundings.

The spacious stone warehouse was filled with wooden crates and shelves. Several goblins were busy transporting supplies, while a few goblin warriors dressed in leather armor stood guard at different positions with weapons in their hands.

However, these fellows clearly had not expected anyone to suddenly break in from the rear of the warehouse.

It was only after Zich had steadied himself that one of the goblins finally noticed something unusual.

"Gah?!"

Unfortunately, before it could let out a second cry, a cold soul flame had already ignited along the blade of the Frostgrave in Zich’s hand!

"Blood Arc!"

Buzz!

Crimson light instantly spread along the scythe blade and a blood colored crescent wrapped in faint soul flames erupted from the weapon as Zich swung it horizontally!

Boom!

Within the confined warehouse, the crimson arc swept through a large area almost instantly.

Wooden shelves and scattered weapons were sent flying along its path, while several goblins that had just raised their weapons to charge forward were cut down before they even had a chance to react!

"Gaaah!"

Miserable screams quicky rang out but Zich paid no attention to the fallen goblins as he quickly signaled to Slimy on his shoulder.

"Slimy, seal the side entrance!"

"Bo!" The little slime jumped down from Zich’s shoulder and landed near the side entrance. Opening its mouth, it sprayed a large quantity of sticky white threads toward the doorway.

Hiss! Hiss! Hiss!

The numerous threads rapidly intertwined in midair, forming a thick, sticky barrier that completely sealed off the side entrance leading toward the rear of the warehouse.

It was Slimy’s skill, Silk Barrier!

With this, even if the goblins outside discovered something was wrong and attempted to enter through the side door, they would first have to find a way to break through this defense.

However, just as Zich was preparing to eliminate the remaining goblins, an enraged roar suddenly erupted from the depths of the warehouse!

"Garu!!"

Boom!

Several enormous wooden crates stacked against the wall were suddenly sent flying by a tremendous force!

Immediately afterward, a figure noticeably larger than an ordinary goblin charged out from behind the crates!

It was an exceptionally muscular goblin!

Standing nearly two meters tall, its thick body was covered in heavy metal armor. It held an enormous iron shield in its left hand and a short handled warhammer in its right.

Its bulging muscles made it obvious that this creature was far stronger than ordinary goblin warriors.
