The dwarf actually looked pretty formidable. Additionally, he was also giving out near-peak Emperor level aura! It was only to Elliot’s powerful beasts, and especially Ellie who had been really itching for a good fight, that such a being ended up being described as “weak”!
“Be thankful that you even get one. There are so many of us and only five enemies.” Brock reprimanded his granddaughter as he stepped out of his portal. His target was the biggest Emperor out of the five, a three meter tall red giant.
That red giant was giving out peak Emperor level aura, and he looked extremely bloodthirsty. There was no way that Brock would allow his granddaughter to fight him!
“I am grateful for this opportunity.” Kai said solemnly at his target, a skinny Emperor dressed in green robes. “Your death will not be in vain.”
YAWN.
Rex gave a huge yawn and sauntered towards her target, a nerdy looking young female elf scantily dressed in vines and leaves.
Winter was the last one to step out. She sat down on the ground and started to groom herself. She didn’t even bother to look at her target!
The complete disdain that Elliot’s beasts had for the Emperors completely riled them up.
It was one thing to be called a coward by an enemy. But it was a different thing altogether when they were looked down by mere pets!
“You’re mocking us?” She sneered at Elliot and was about to make a move against Rex who was still calmly and slowly towards her target when Elliot turned to look at her while undoing his stealth at the same time.
His killing intent was so strong that Yellow immediately froze in place and stood guard against him.
For Yellow, it felt as though an ancient primordial beast was staring at her with a deep intent to kill!
“Your opponent is me.” Elliot said quietly. “All three of you. I cannot allow you three to separate.”
“Hmmmmm? What a fearsome aura! The reports truly were made by fools. “Near-hegemonic level of power” they said. Utter bullshit. Faerya, Faeryo, leave the Emperors to play with his beasts. We need to go all out if we want to capture him alive. Do not hold back.” White said with an excited smile on her face.
Black and Yellow nodded. They focused their attention on him and ignored the Emperors who had started to battle against Elliot’s beasts.
“Any last words?” White asked Elliot in a friendly tone.
“None. And you sure are taking your own sweet time with that spell. Are you sure you’re a Hegemon? I’ve never seen anyone so bad with Runes.” Elliot said while shaking his head.
He very conveniently forgot that prior to absorbing the second Red Dragon Blood Essence and awakening his dragon soul, he was probably a million times worse than her!
At his words though, White’s face turned extremely ugly.
She had been weaving her energy slowly and secretly while talking with Elliot to buy herself time to complete it.
It was a very powerful disabling spell, one that would even render the strongest Hegemons unable to move for a few crucial seconds!
She had killed and captured a very respectable number of Hegemons using that spell, and it was her go-to move in every single capture mission.
It came as a complete shock to her that not only had Elliot detected her secret act, he even allowed her to continue doing it!
Didn’t that mean that he had the confidence to deal with her secret spell?
“Hurry up. I don’t have all day.” Elliot said impatiently.
“You cocky son of a *****. Attack!” White shouted through her gritted teeth.
Immediately, Black and Yellow pounced forward towards Elliot while unleashing their tyrannical Hegemon aura at the same time.
From the ground, thousands of earth pellets the size of basketballs as well as hundreds of thick vines strangely surrounded by tendrils of fire started to shoot out towards Elliot!
As expected, Black was a Dark-Earth Elemental Hegemon while Yellow was a Wood-Fire Elemental Hegemon.
Under such omnidirectional attacks, Elliot had no choice but to immediately unleash his full Red Dragon Transformation.
In a blink of an eye, the silhouette behind Elliot solidified into a complete Red Dragon that unleashed a deep and guttural roar!
GRAAHHH!!!!
At the same time, a sphere of bright red fire coalesced all around Elliot.
It was an all-encompassing fire defense that his red dragon energy had cast automatically to deal with all sorts of attacks.
The only question was, was it strong enough to deal with the attacks of two Hegemons?
Whoosh! Swoooshh!! Boooooshhhhhhhh!!!
The pellets and the vines were vaporized upon contact with Elliot’s sphere of fire.
Elliot’s sphere of fire had no problems whatsoever dealing with the dual elements of the two Hegemons!
However, Black and Yellow were already upon him at that moment and their weapons were flowing in perfect coordination towards him.
Black was wielding a massive war hammer that was swinging down from the top, while Yellow’s twin scimitars were slashing in from the left and right towards his body and his feet!
And to make things worse, at that very moment, a horrendously large bolt of black lightning suddenly crackled and struck down at Elliot with devastating power.
The black lightning bolt pierced through Elliot’s sphere of fire a mere split second before Black’s and Yellow’s attacks did, and all three of them smashed onto Elliot with unforgiving strength.
It was as though they had forgotten that they were supposed to capture him alive!
“How do you like my secret skill – Black Lightning Paralysis now, huh you damned punk!!” White shouted triumphantly from behind the duo.
But to her great surprise, Black and Yellow didn’t stop attacking Elliot. In fact, they were unleashing their second, third and fourth chained sequence of attacks at him in rapid succession!
“Stop blanking out you damned fool! Keep attacking! He’s still completely unharmed!” Black roared out angrily as he drew back his massive war hammer for another vicious attack.
Thick earthen spikes appeared at the edge of his hammer and glowed an ominous black.
