259 Not as stingy as you
Elliot turned to look at the two remaining Hegemon Beasts and found that the teams led by Wu Kong and Khalendros were actually quite close to finishing them off!
Wu Kong’s Feral Judgement had grown much stronger the more he used and familiarized himself with it.
Being grouped with Frosty and Kai also allowed his damage to be dealt with pinpoint accuracy at his target’s weak points when used in conjunction with Kai’s Spectral Roar (which froze his enemies for a full second) as well as Frosty’s powerful freezing field.
And although Kai was still relatively low levelled, his insanely powerful Chaos Apostle skills allowed him to deal 10x higher damage than he should.
And Frosty was… well Frosty. She was literally a walking Debuffer with her freezing field and dragon aura. Even if she just sat there looking pretty, her contributions to the team would still be among the top!
However, all of that wasn’t quite enough when dealing with a powerful Hegemon level beast with speed, defense and regeneration as its main strengths. It was only after reinforcements arrived that the momentum started to reverse.
Together with Rex, Ellie and a bunch of summoned beasts, they finally turned the tables around and started to dominate the Western Tiger.
In fact, with Khalendros’ Curse of the Dragon God and Goddess which caused the Eastern Bear to receive 1000% more physical and magical damage from all sources, Khalendros had effectively made all of his teammates damage dealers.
Even Brock!
Still, even with such a powerful skill, they too were slightly lacking compared to the Eastern Bear’s extreme vitality and regeneration. Like Brock, the Eastern Bear specialized in tanking even among Hegemons, and that specialization made an already ridiculously tanky Hegemon many times more tanky.
The assignment of Khalendros to deal with the Eastern Bear, although unintentional, was definitely a master stroke. Without Khalendros and his Apostle skills, they would have absolutely no chance in dealing with the Bear, even with reinforcements!
If Wu Kong’s team swapped with Khalendros’ team, although Wu Kong would be able to cope with the Eastern Bear’s attack by merit of Frosty’s and Kai’s skills, he would be hard pressed to push it to the brink of death as he was doing to the Western Tiger.
But as it turned out, Khalendros was there, and they were winning the battle.
However, even though both teams were struggling and giving their all to only nearly kill their opponents, Elliot was actually feeling very, very pleased.
With his own power as a Beast Master, at that very moment, he was able to deal with not one, not two, and not even three but FOUR Hegemons at the same time!
True his sisters helped out with one Hegemon, but he also didn’t exhibit his full strength with his Golden Dragon Transformation too. So he considered that Hegemon as being manageable should he choose to go all out.
So…
Four Hegemons!
And if Wu Kong, Frosty, and Khalendros were to combine their skills against a single opponent…
Elliot was sure that together, he and his beasts would be able to take on a full fledged Peak Hegemon!
“Should we help them?” Jessica asked Elliot uncertainly. She had wanted to immediately go over to help as soon as the Phoenix died, but sensing that Elliot seemed rather content to merely watch the other two battles rage on, she hesitated.
“No, let them finish up by themselves. At this rate, they would finish very soon. In fact…”
[Tiger Golem killed.]
“There you go. Wu Kong and his team is done. The Eastern Bear is much tankier than the Western Tiger, and Khalendros’ team would probably need another minute or so to finish it off.” Elliot estimated.
[Bear Golem killed.]
“Or not.” Elliot chuckled.
Khellendra had landed a very well placed Spatial Rend on the Bear which severed its heavily wounded neck from its body. And once that happened, the bear froze and ate up every single attack launched by Khalendros and his team, and instantly perished.
And with that, they had finally won the Beast Tide!!

[Standby for Event Rewards!]
“Mwa ha ha ha. I love this part!” Elliot laughed and grinned at his sisters, who also had excited looks on their faces.
“Oooh. I can’t wait to see the amazing rewards they promised!” Jennifer said and rubbed her hands in glee.
“If I get another system, will I be able to combine it again? I already upgraded my sistem to SSS grade…” Jessica wondered aloud.
“If it’s compatible, possibly. Systems are basically energy seeds. If your energy is compatible with the energy seed from the system, then you might be able to upgrade it beyond SSS like I did. In fact, I don’t even know what grade my system is now. Maybe it’s something like… SSSSS? Hehehe.” Elliot chuckled.
“I call dibs on the most powerful system we get from these rewards!” Jennifer immediately said. “It’s not fair that you two have systems, and upgraded ones at that! And I have none.” Jennifer pouted.
“You don’t have a system, but you do have a powerful bloodline which is extremely rare. Your potential is actually not a single bit less than Jessica’s!” Elliot comforted Jennifer who seemed slightly mollified after hearing his words.
“Here they come.” Jennifer said and pointed at the sky.
True enough, as usual, a bunch of drones appeared out of nowhere and started to make their way towards Elliot and his gang!

“What rewards have you prepared for them, Chairman?” Director Sands asked curiously.
“Oh nothing much. Just enough this and that to help them survive the upcoming messy fights with the Hegemons and possibly ancients, and a bunch of stuff selected at random by the system which even I don’t know about.” El’Taras said mysteriously which didn’t answer Director Sands’ question at all.
However Director Sands seemed quite satisfied with the answer he got
“Good.” He grunted in response. “Saves me the trouble from having to give him a Talisman of Greater Escape. Those things are pretty annoying to make.”
“Talisman of Greater Escape?” El’Taras laughed out loud. “Do you really think I am as stingy as you, old friend?”
