“So who or what is The One?” Emma asked after taking a few mouthfuls of food.

“The One was the first being to exist,” Eytelis answered after swallowing her food.

“No, the Demon King and Lord Omniel were the first TWO beings to exist in the universe,” Erkath replied adamantly.

“You're correct,” Eytelis replied calmly. “But The One existed before the universe.”

“Excuse me?” Adam asked in surprise.

“How's that even possible?” Emma asked in confusion.

“Here we go,” Stacey said while rolling her eyes.

“And now you understand why hardly anyone believes this myth,” Aphrodite sighed before focusing on her food.

Eytelis frowned at Aphrodite before saying, “Before the creation of the universe, there was only The One. The One was everything and also nothing at the same time.

From The One came The Two; however, The One was jealous that The Two had physical form while it just existed everywhere and nowhere.

Because of its jealousy, The One attempted to assume humanoid form itself but failed.

Due to its failure, The One became scattered and thus the universe was born, leaving only The Two.

Soon, however, the progenitors of the first races came into existence and life began to spread across the universe.”

There was silence at the table for a few moments as the group continued to enjoy their food before Adam asked, “Come again?”

“Confused? A pretty standard response,” Aphrodite chuckled.

“You're claiming that someone or something existed in the universe before even the universe itself existed?” Emma asked in bewilderment.

“Yeah, that's basically what she's claiming. Ridiculous, right?” Erkath asked while rolling her eyes.

“How is something like that even possible?” Adam asked. “I mean, how can something both exist and not exist at the same time?”

“It can’t, which is why it’s ridiculous," Revi answered.

“I take it that other than Eytelis, none of you believe this theory?” Emma asked, to which everyone shook their heads.

“There is no proof to suggest that anyone existed before the birth of the universe,” Elemence stated.

“Then are The Two mentioned referring to the Demon King and Lord Omniel?” Adam asked curiously.

“That's right?” Eytelis replied between mouthfuls as if the attitude of the others didn’t bother her.

“Then surely they would be able to confirm or deny the validity of the claim?” Adam suggested.

“Oh, they’ve been questioned on the topic in the past,” Erkath replied. “Both parties claim that they have no recollection of such a being.”

“Further proving the point that there is no evidence that such a being could or did exist,” Revi stated adamantly.

“Then how did such a myth or religion even come to exist?” Emma asked.

“How do any such myths come to exist?” Erkath asked in return, just as Adam’s eyes suddenly widened in surprise as he felt something touch his leg.

Looking down, he saw that Erkath’s long red tail had at some point snuck up between their seats and the arrow-shaped tip was now caressing his inner thigh.

Adam turned to look at Erkath, only to find that she was looking at Emma as she continued speaking.

“Someone probably saw or found something they couldn’t understand and came up with a story on how to explain it.”

Seeing that she wasn’t paying attention to him, Adam lowered a hand beneath the table and tapped Rowena’s leg.

Rowena, who had been paying attention to the conversation, looked at him quizzically, and as Adam glanced down at the tail again, Rowena followed his gaze, only for her own eyes to widen slightly at what she saw.

After observing the tail's actions for a second and how it had started to slowly sneak up his inner thigh, Rowena flashed him a quick smile and wink before returning her focus to the conversation.

{Is she seriously telling me to let this happen?} Adam thought.

[That does indeed appear to be the case.] Spector replied.

{What happened to not messing with those outside the harem?”} Adam thought.

[Technically, you're not doing anything; it’s Erkath that is. Also, Rowena wants Erkath to join, which is most likely why she’s letting it happen.]

{That’s a pretty thin line.}

[Perhaps, but it’s true. There is also an argument that can be made that since this is your harem, you should be allowed to play with possible members while the women can only play with you or each other.]

{You really think they would accept that?}

[Rowena obviously is, and you don’t know if the subject isn’t brought up. You may be the leader of your group relationship, but what benefits does that actually bring you?]

{Err, three beautiful lovers.}

[And how’s that different from the others? Lorelie could claim the same, though she’s yet to do anything with Rowena, while Stacey and Rowena simply refuse to touch each other because of their relationship.]

{So you are saying that I should be allowed to play with possible members, even before they join?}

[It is generally what happens in other group relationships, but if you're still uncertain, I suggest you bring it up with your lovers later.]

{That doesn’t help me now.}

[Do you need help? Rowena has given her ok afterall, while it seems that Erkath has taken your lack of action as unspoken permission.]

Spector was right about how Erkath had taken Adam’s lack of action to heart.

Ever since they had left for Primus Depths, Erkath had been having an internal struggle about whether she should proceed with this first test she had thought up.

{Is this really ok? I don't want to upset Adam, but I need to know if he’s really into this kind of thing instead of just claiming to be like some other men.

Also, there’s the reaction of the girls. Rowena's not a problem since she wants me to join; Lorelie is apparently undergoing self-punishment right now, so I doubt she will say much after what she almost did, leaving Stacey. She’s the real unknown; I don’t know how she’ll take it.}

Eventually, Erkath affirmed her resolve after seeing how angry Adam got at seeing Merle. Never had any man ever gotten that angry on her behalf, and it gave her a pang of jealousy towards Stacey.

So when they all stood up in order to head for their table, she took the chance and claimed one of Adam’s arms before asking him what he thought of her dress.

His response pleased her, and she had wanted to tease him a little by mentioning her dress’s special feature; however, something he said had distracted her.

Now that they were sitting next to each other and they were enjoying their food while talking, Erkath decided to implement her first test.

{I hope he doesn’t refuse or, worse, make a scene.}

As she answered Emma’s question, Erkath sent her tail between their seats before sliding it up his leg where the arrow-shaped tip began to caress his inner thigh.

Thanks to her experience as a former senator, Erkath had long mastered the ability to keep a straight face even while nervous, so while she was answering Emma’s question, she was nervously thinking.

{I hope he doesn’t mind and even enjoys it; heck, it would be super hot if he reciprocates, damn, that would be hot.

FUCK! He pointed it out to Rowena. Does that mean he’s going to stop me? Rowena doesn’t seem bothered.

Huh! He’s not stopping me; maybe I should try going further?}

As her thoughts reached this point, Erkath had her tail slide further up Adam’s inner thigh while she waited to see if he would do anything.

“So, is everyone enjoying the food?” Grynrim asked.

“It’s delicious as expected,” Lorelie said with a smile.

“Indeed, it’s as good as I’ve heard,” Eri remarked.

“It’s great,” Tephe cheered.

Even Maya nodded and made a happy noise.

“I’m very glad to hear it,” Grynrim replied.

“Is something wrong, honey? You seem a bit distracted,” Rowena suddenly asked as she turned to Adam with a smirk.

{Bitch! That’s going to cause him to make me stop.} Erkarh thought angrily.

“What?” Adam asked in confusion as he turned to her.

Rowena chuckled as her eyes sparkled with amusement before saying, “I asked if you're okay, you seem distracted, and Lady Grynrim asked if we were enjoying the meal.”

“Oh, sorry,” Adam replied before turning to Grynrim and saying apologetically. “Please forgive me, I was just so enamoured by the food.”

“It’s quite alright; you're not the first to act this way after trying our food for the first time,” Grynrim said with a chuckle.

{Wait, he’s not stopping me? Seriously?} Erkath thought in surprise as a smile formed on her lips.

“Someone seems happy,” Emma remarked as she turned to Erkath.

“Well, I’m having a delicious meal with good friends; why wouldn’t I be happy?” Erkath asked while internally she thought. {Let’s see how far he’s willing to let me go… fuck, this is turning me on.}
