Chapter 2362 - 2365: An Astonishing First Battle

The grand Seven-pillar competition officially began.

After final discussions among the Seven Great Immortal Sects, besides the twelve Disciples from Qiankun Immortal Sect, each of the remaining six Immortal Sects was allowed to send ten participants.

There were a total of seventy-two contestants, all top-tier experts from the Seven Great Immortal Sects.

The opponents were decided by drawing lots.

"Wow, the Three Great Immortal Sects have arrived!"

"They're here, they're here!"

Upon completion of the draw, three majestic shadows descended from the sky above the Martial Arts Arena on Qiankun Mountain!

These three shadows, like fleeting winds, carried the brilliance of True Qi, appearing splendid and magnificent.

Three shadows, three people.

According to the tradition of the Seven-pillar competition, the Three Great Immortal Sects send one Elder each to observe and invite promising talents to cultivate in the Three Great Immortal Sects.

Of course, invitees can choose to decline, as the Senior Disciple of Qiankun Immortal Sect has done in the past two competitions.

"We respectfully welcome the observing Elders of the Three Great Immortal Sects. Please take your seats."

As the host, the Sect Leader of Qiankun Immortal Sect took the lead in welcoming the three observing Elders of the Three Great Immortal Sects to the guest seats.

These three individuals were extraordinary, wearing Taoist robes, looking ethereal and transcendent.

Each of them bore an air of arrogance, seemingly disdainful of the people from the Seven Great Immortal Sects, sitting in their seats without a word.

An Elder from Taiqing Immortal Sect said, "The competition may begin now."

The Sect Leader of Qiankun Immortal Sect smiled slightly and nodded, "Elder referee, the competition may begin now."

By this time, the seventy-two participating Disciples were already in place, ready to go.

At the top of Qiankun Mountain, thirty-six rings were set up, each with a transparent Cave Heaven Blessed Land specifically for the competition.

Qin Tian drew an opponent from the Divine Sword Immortal Sect, named Wang Tian.

Naturally, he did not regard this guy highly, as his attention was on the gathered Elders and Sect Leaders.

Under their watchful eyes, would his newly learned technique of hiding cultivation and combat power be discovered?

Qin Tian was unsure in his heart.

"I am Wang Tian of the Divine Sword Immortal Sect. Are you from the Xuanyuan Immortal Sect?"

After entering the Cave Heaven Blessed Land, Wang Tian eyed Qin Tian, his expression somewhat arrogant, as if he looked down on Disciples of the Xuanyuan Immortal Sect.

"Yes, Senior Brother, please show mercy."

Qin Tian smiled slightly at Wang Tian, appearing very "humble".

Wang Tian actually took the bait, confidently saying, "Don't worry, I know you Disciples from Xuanyuan Immortal Sect are weak. I'll let you survive three moves, so you don't lose too badly."

With a contemptuous smile, Wang Tian said, "Alright, you strike first. Let me see your strength."

Qin Tian "earnestly" nodded: "Okay, Senior Brother."

After speaking, he gathered Fist Light in his right hand and said, "Senior Brother, here I come."

Wang Tian "hmmed" and said, "Junior Brother, go ahead and use all your strength, show your skills early, otherwise you'll have no chance later."

Seeing Qin Tian's simple punch, Wang Tian was somewhat surprised: "Junior Brother, is that all you've got? If this is your strength, it might be difficult to survive three moves under me..."

Whoosh whoosh whoosh!

As he spoke, Wang Tian also launched a punch!

However, he didn't finish his sentence.

Because, when his True Qi met Qin Tian's True Qi, Wang Tian sensed something was amiss!

There was something strange about Qin Tian's True Qi!

"This is..."

Bang!

Just as Wang Tian sensed something wrong, their True Qi collided!

Wang Tian didn't even have time to scream as he was directly blasted to the ground, spewing three mouthfuls of blood, unable to get up!

A crushing defeat in one move!

"You, you actually... played the fool to catch the tiger!"

Wang Tian glared at Qin Tian from the ground, anger in his eyes, "I was negligent, otherwise, you wouldn't stand a chance against me! Ah! Losing to a Disciple of Xuanyuan Immortal Sect, it's a disgrace!"

Wang Tian was filled with regret as the referee Elder announced Qin Tian's victory.

In less than a minute, no, within half a minute, the third martial arts platform determined a winner, and it was a Disciple from Xuanyuan Immortal Sect.

As Qin Tian emerged from the Cave Heaven Blessed Land, everyone was a bit shocked.

"Hehe, on the thirty-six martial arts platforms, our Qin Tian from Xuanyuan Immortal Sect was the first to win and come out. It's a good sign!"

"Wow, who would have thought Qin Tian would win against Wang Tian from the Divine Sword Immortal Sect so easily?"

"Indeed, it was unexpected. All participants in the Seven-pillar competition are elite Disciples of the Seven Great Immortal Sects, yet Qin Tian finished it in one move?"

The Elders of Xuanyuan Immortal Sect were all extremely surprised.

Even the Sect Leader of Xuanyuan Immortal Sect, Xuanyuan Ting, rarely showed a joyful expression.

"Elder Wang, your pupil is truly impressive."

Xuanyuan Ting said to Wang Tianqing, who was sitting nearby.

To be personally praised by the Sect Leader was something Wang Tianqing had never imagined, as the Sect Leader hadn't spoken to him for over a year.

"Thank you, Sect Leader, for the compliment. This Qin Tian is extremely talented. Within a few years of his entry, he leapt from an Inner Sect Disciple to become one of the Xuanyuan Four Masters, and his strength might be only slightly below that of Ouyang Wudi, making him the second most prominent Disciple of our Xuanyuan Immortal Sect. His future is limitless."

Wang Tianqing's face was also full of joy. After exchanging a look with Xuanyuan Shenyue, they both nodded with satisfaction.

At this moment, Mo Ziyang and the others looked rather upset.

In this Seven-pillar competition, Mo Ziyang had two Disciples participating, but their strength was not as great as Qin Tian's. They could only watch as Qin Tian and Wang Tianqing shone bright in this competition, filled with envy and resentment.

After Qin Tian clinched victory around a minute later, other winners from different platforms began to emerge slowly.

The audience instantly erupted in discussion.

"The senior brother of Qiankun Immortal Sect won, the senior brother of Divine Sword Immortal Sect also won, and the senior brother of Spiritual Spring Immortal Sect as well..."

"As expected, the top contestants from each Immortal Sect all won."

"However, they didn't win as quickly as Qin Tian on the third martial arts platform... Wow, I heard that Qin Tian is a Disciple of Xuanyuan Immortal Sect, and he's so strong?"

"In the Seven-pillar competition, hidden talents from all over have gathered; everyone should not be underestimated. But this time, the Disciple from Xuanyuan Immortal Sect stole the spotlight right from the start. It's quite surprising... Look, the Sect Leaders and Elders on the dais are whispering, they must be discussing Qin Tian."

"The three Elders from the Three Great Immortal Sects also seem to have their eyes on Qin Tian. Wow, this is only the first match, and Qin Tian from Xuanyuan Immortal Sect has already made a striking impact?"
