The robot controlled by Chen Ming appeared in the next instant beside the corpse of the Plane Nightmare floating along the Gaia Star orbit.

He reached out and pressed his hand onto the skin of the corpse, feeling the gravitational pull originating from the Plane Nightmare’s body while covering it with Spiritual Energy Fluctuations, gradually penetrating them from the outside in.

Starting from the minutiae, he thoroughly observed what kind of existence the Plane Nightmare really was.

During this process, apart from investigating, Chen Ming also utilized one of the most intrinsic characteristics of his Spiritual Energy—the power belonging to the Mind Breaking Entity—to devour the portion of Dimensional Power that belonged to the Plane Nightmare and was of the same source as Chen Ming’s force.

He gradually familiarized himself with and mastered this power.

Soon after, Chen Ming withdrew his Spiritual Energy Fluctuations from the corpse, also extracting the portion of the Plane Nightmare’s power he had devoured, and returning it to the corpse.

He didn’t need this power; he only needed the method of employing it.

Chen Ming clenched his fists.

Having familiarized himself once again with the operational principles of this new power model, he then arrived before the wormhole of the Primordial Star System.

He disabled the spatial locking device he had previously installed here to prevent anything on the other side of the wormhole from approaching.

He released his Spiritual Energy Fluctuations towards the wormhole, binding them around it like chains.

His Spiritual Energy Fluctuations replaced the spatial locking device; he used the dimensional tearing power of the Plane Nightmare to inversely stabilize this existence related to Dimensional Power.

He gradually stabilized the wormhole, making it smoother compared to before, and more suitable for ships to traverse.

This is the new power Chen Ming had mastered.

And not just the wormhole; anything related to dimensional matters would now exhibit stronger stability than before.

Even repairing spatial rifts, he could do better, making them harder to breach.

Chen Ming withdrew his power and reinstalled the spatial locking device.

Though maintaining his Spiritual Energy could continually function, replacing all the functions of the spatial locking device, and even having some additional features.

Adding an extra safeguard is not a bad thing.

Chen Ming doesn’t mind the hassle.

After all, the value of a stabilized wormhole is quite special.

Wormholes naturally exist in the universe, connecting two seemingly unrelated areas without consuming a large amount of resources to activate like Star Gates. The mere connection of two regions is invaluable.

Moreover, Chen Ming’s wormhole even directly connects outside the observable universe, making its value beyond words.

However, currently, there are almost no natural wormholes left within the Empire.

Most of the wormholes have had their singularities extracted to manufacture Star Gates.

The reason for doing so rather than preserving some originally existing natural wormholes is quite simple.

Wormholes themselves have downsides.

Such as poor positioning.

If two connected wormholes are poorly positioned, with little need for transit, the wormhole becomes meaningless.

It’s better to extract the singularity and manually construct Star Gates.

This way, the Empire can conduct overall adjustments, ensuring that each Star Realm has at least one Star Gate.

Artificial Star Gates can also interconnect, unlike natural wormholes which are fixed and only allow shuttle between two wormholes.

Additionally, natural wormholes are unstable, posing quite high risks during passage.

No one dares to guarantee a wormhole will be problem-free.

If something goes wrong, even the Main Ship could be lost inside.

Of course, these issues are not a problem for Chen Ming’s wormhole; he can address them.

The problem lies on the other side of the wormhole.

After the Plane Nightmare within the black hole was taken down, it fled.

Chen Ming has currently dispatched a small fleet to track it.

It’s unclear whether this is good or bad; both possibilities exist.

The upside is that the wormhole can later move away from the black hole, and if the wormhole on that end enters a normal Star System, even if it’s not a great system, it can still serve as a settlement, creating a new base.

However, leaving the wormhole near the black hole is simply not feasible.

The downside is that Chen Ming doesn’t know where the wormhole will eventually end up.

Though the wormhole’s movement direction is already determined, and there is a Star System in that direction.

But who knows if the wormhole will pause in that Star System or, like its route near the black hole, leave after a while towards the next Star System.

The state of this wormhole is truly unheard of.

All that can be said is that the other end of this wormhole, deemed a cosmic phenomenon, truly lives up to its reputation.

Currently, it seems this wormhole still has about two days before reaching the first Star System aligned with its trajectory.

Chen Ming has planned to go check it out before the wormhole arrives and find out what is there.

What special existence attracted it, or did the Plane Nightmare use its power to draw the wormhole over, and now it’s simply returning to its original location?

In any case, he has to investigate.

But there’s no rush; this can wait a bit.

As he has many other things awaiting his attention.
