Lucas was alerted by the system notification as he woke up from his light sleep.

'Three hours have already passed by but the evolution is still not completed?'

The first thing he checked after waking up was the Silent Phantom that was still in the evolution process.

Even though the shadow wyvern took 24 hours to finish its evolution process, that's because the Beast evolution crystal was a much higher grade item compared to the Dark ember fruit.

'Moreover, it only consumed one fruit.'

The evolution of the spirit beasts was always a mystery and the beast tamer usually tried to figure them out as it would be useful for their spirit beasts.

        The evolution of the Silent Phantom is finished. It evolved into a Phantom eagle.

Just as he got the system notification, the black light surrounding the black sparrow disappeared and the small figure of the sparrow grew bigger as it now looked like an eagle.

'Phantom eagle? A double increment in strength.'

Not only the huge transformation in its body but Lucas also sensed the aura around the Phantom eagle grew to peak rank 3.

Previously, it was only a low-level rank 3 but now, it is just a step away from reaching rank 4.

As for the Phantom eagle, it was greatly excited as it flew into the sky at an incredible speed at which Lucas could barely see it.

Just as he looked into the sky, the Phantom eagle appeared behind him and landed on his shoulder before rubbing its head against Lucas' head.

'If it was to ambush me now, I would have died without a doubt.'

After seeing the speed of the Phantom, Lucas shivered a little; however, when he thought that it was his spirit beast now, he felt greatly excited.

'Now, I have another trump card. As long as I awaken the talent of Joshua and others while making Reece, Harper and Beck as his Henchmen, then the Hellmore family will become unstoppable among the newly established families.'

Thinking about everything, Lucas felt he could become the ruler of the Silverstone town much quicker than he imagined.

'I just have to wait for another 10 hours before this mission is completed. I wonder what items I will get from the Bronze treasure chest.'

Soon, his thoughts shifted to the mission as he looked at the three short trees whose fruits he had already collected into his inventory.

"Phantom, why don't you eat more Dark ember fruits?"

Since these fruits are good for the dark elemental spirit beasts, Lucas asked the eagle on his shoulders to eat more.

As for Lucas, he was planning to eat more, however, he was waiting for his assassin energy to be depleted by the shadow clones.

'Master, these fruits are no longer useful for me as I evolved just after eating the first fruit.'

All of a sudden, Lucas heard a little girl's voice in his head.

"Huh? You can finally talk?"

Lucas was surprised as he looked at the Phantom eagle on his shoulder.

'Even though I can't speak out, I can communicate with the master through the 'Telepathy'.'

The eagle replied in its immature voice.

"It is better than nothing."

Until now, Lucas was guessing what Phantom was trying to save through its actions; however, now, he didn't have to guess anymore.

"Anyway, let's rest here until morning."

After saying that, Lucas went back to his sleep as he was tired after moving and killing a lot in the morning.

Time continued to pass and another couple of hours passed by.

'Aargh'

Once again, Lucas woke up from his sleep; however, this time, he woke up because of slight but sharp pain in his head.

'One of my shadow clones is killed by something.'

Lucas was unable to feel the connection with his third shadow clone because the clone was killed even before he could see what killed him.

'Everyone, come to the third….'

'Argh'

'Aargh'

Just as he was about to give the orders to the remaining two shadow clones, Lucas felt a similar pain in his head twice.

'Damn it...they were both killed.'

Lucas cursed because just like the third shadow clone, the two other shadow clones were killed without knowing how they died.

'Phantom, someone is here. Hide in my shadow for now.'

'Yes, master.'

The Phantom eagle also felt a bad premonition and wanted to help its master; however, it followed his master's orders and hid in his shadow while thinking, 'I can always come out and help the master.'

"Keke...a human with such a low-strength dared to spend a night in the Viscount grounds? How interesting."

Just as the Phantom eagle hid in Lucas' shadow, Lucas heard an eerie voice that started with an eerie chuckle.

'Is it a human or a spirit beast?'

Lucas was unable to guess to whom that voice belonged; however, he raised his guard up.

'Fiery rage'

Without any hesitation, Lucas cast a spell before using a skill to temporarily boost his battle prowess.

"Brother, let me kill this human?"

"No, I will kill him. Last time, you killed two human adventurers. So, let me have this human.".

Just as Lucas was wondering where the attacker was a human or a spirit beast, he heard two more eerie voices; however, compared to the first voice, these two voices were obviously less powerful than the first being.

"Shut up."

The owner of the first voice berated the other two, before saying, "This human piqued my interest. So, I will have fun with him."

'Calm down'

Lucas didn't know from when he started fearing death, but just like the other emotions, he got this emotion 'Fear of death' after transmigrating into his world. So, he tried his best to calm himself.

"Why don't you come out and let's see who will play with whom."

Just as Lucas finished his words, he saw three rank 4 spirit beasts that looked like ghosts, coming from three directions.
