Sorry, Our Captain Is a True All-Rounder

Chapter 192: You Hit Really Hard

  • Next Chapter

Alderick found her tone outrageously arrogant. ‘Me, a distinguished Army Commander, can’t beat this piece of trash?’

‘A Grade F piece of trash, no less.’

‘Someone like her thinks she can make him regret it?’

‘How ridiculous.’

Alderick assumed a combat stance, then beckoned to Lin Jingjing as if to say, *come on*.

The five Army Commanders seated below the stage sighed as they watched his arrogant display.

“He really is an idiot,” Beisang commented. ‘Isn’t he just going to make Lin Jingjing even angrier?’

‘Even if Lin Jingjing’s spiritual power ability is only Grade F, her spiritual power itself is terrifyingly strong.’

Seeing his gesture, Lin Jingjing charged forward.

She was incredibly fast, reaching Alderick in an instant and smashing her fist directly into his face.

She put her full strength into the punch, knocking out two of his teeth.

Not only that, but Lin Jingjing also used her spiritual power to pin him in place, rendering him immobile.

Unable to move his arms or legs, Alderick became a punching bag, passively taking Lin Jingjing’s beating.

Lin Jingjing didn’t hold back in the slightest. People like him, with S-Class spiritual power or higher, had strong bodies and wouldn’t die so easily.

So, Lin Jingjing didn’t restrain herself, putting her maximum strength into every punch she threw at Alderick.

BANG—

BANG—

BANG BANG BANG—

Alderick was thrown about like a punching bag, crashing into the ground. Seeing his son suffer such a vicious beating, his father shot to his feet and yelled, “Captain Lin, are you trying to beat him to death?!”

“You’re murdering him!”

Hearing his father accuse her of murder, Lin Jingjing hit even harder.

‘When Alderick was beating Mo Xuan, why didn’t anyone say *he* was committing murder? When he sent Mo Xuan back and wouldn’t even spare a single Recovery Potion for him, why didn’t anyone say *he* was committing murder then?’

‘She was just giving Alderick a taste of his own medicine, the same treatment he’d given Mo Xuan.’

‘And they couldn’t take it?’

Lin Jingjing paid no heed, instead unleashing the full force of her spiritual pressure on Alderick.

She kicked him two meters away. Only after seeing that there wasn’t an uninjured spot on Alderick’s entire body did Lin Jingjing feel a sliver of satisfaction.

But compared to the injuries Mo Xuan had sustained, this was nothing.

Lin Jingjing retracted her spiritual pressure, and Alderick, lying on the ground, could finally move his limbs again.

He struggled to his feet, glaring daggers at Lin Jingjing and spitting through gritted teeth, “You… bitch…”

The word had barely left his lips before Lin Jingjing was in front of him. She grabbed his hair and slammed his head to the ground.

“What did you call me?” Lin Jingjing asked earnestly, squatting over him, her pitch-black eyes locked onto his.

Her fair hand gripped his hair so tightly that the veins on its back bulged.

Everyone in the conference hall was inwardly shocked as they watched the scene. ‘Was the new director’s power really this formidable?’

‘The man at her feet was Alderick, the Fifth Corps Commander, and his spiritual power was 2S-rank.’

‘2S-rank! A genius among geniuses, yet he was completely powerless against her.’

‘Before, they only knew her spiritual power had great endurance, that she wouldn’t face the risk of depletion after half a day’s use like they would.’

‘They never expected her combat strength was also this high, that she could so easily beat someone into submission.’

Alderick was defiant. He lifted his head slightly, spat a mouthful of bloody saliva at Lin Jingjing’s face, and stubbornly repeated, “Bitch.”

BANG—Lin Jingjing viciously smashed his head into the ground again. It cracked open, and fresh blood began to flow.

“What did you call me?” Lin Jingjing asked again.

“Bitch.” Alderick was truly pig-headed, determined to curse her no matter how much pain he was in.

As soon as the word left his mouth, Lin Jingjing grabbed his hair and smashed his head down again.

This blow was even harder, and the thud seemed to strike a chord in everyone’s heart.

Some of the women who had never witnessed such a bloody scene closed their eyes. ‘We can never, ever mess with anyone from the Monster Investigation Bureau.’

‘They hold way too much of a grudge.’

‘So he beat up her vice-captain a little. And now she’s beating Alderick half to death right in front of the King.’

This impact made Alderick see stars. His entire body ached intensely, and the pain in his head was unbearable.

“Son, just apologize to her!” his father pleaded anxiously from below. “Let’s stop trying to act tough, okay?”

Seeing his son in this state, his heart ached terribly.

‘This woman is truly vicious. Is she really trying to kill him?’

“Lin Jingjing, let go of my son right now! He’s about to die!”

“Didn’t your son say, ‘What’s the big deal about killing someone’?” Lin Jingjing looked at him and spoke softly. “When he was beating Mo Xuan like this, did he ever consider that Mo Xuan might die?”

“When Mo Xuan was beaten to within an inch of his life, your son didn’t think to spare him. When he just dumped him on a military vessel and forbade anyone from treating him, why didn’t you say your son was a murderer then?”

“He was just lucky that I was in a deep sleep for those few days. If I had been there, I would have taught him the true meaning of death,” Lin Jingjing said with a light chuckle.

Every word she spoke made Kebis’s heart tremble.

“We’re supposed to be colleagues. In duels and things, we’re supposed to show some mercy. But since he decided not to act like a decent human being, he can’t blame me for what I’m doing.”

Finally, Captain Li couldn’t watch any longer. “Lin Jingjing,” he called out.

“That’s enough.”

Hearing Yun Yiyou speak, Lin Jingjing released Alderick’s hair and stood up. Still not satisfied, however, she kicked him aside.

“Is something wrong, Captain Li?” Lin Jingjing asked, pulling out a tissue to wipe the blood splattered on her face.

Captain Li looked at her and knew she was genuinely furious.

He glanced at the half-dead Alderick lying on the floor and offered a piece of advice, “When you can forgive, you should.”

“Hah…” Lin Jingjing let out a dismissive chuckle. “That’s not what he was thinking yesterday.”

Lin Jingjing held a grudge. A very deep grudge.

‘Messing with her comrades was a capital offense!’

“Alright, come back now. He’s practically dead,” Captain Li sighed, beckoning to her. He was afraid the girl wasn’t satisfied yet and would charge forward to give Alderick another vicious beating.

“Oh,” Lin Jingjing responded.

Having delivered a beating and vented her anger, Lin Jingjing was now compliant.

After sitting down, Lin Jingjing leaned back and watched as two medical robots examined Alderick. The examination concluded that even an Advanced Recovery Agent would be useless on him.

They took him away to be placed in a treatment pod.

“You… you were really ruthless,” Captain Li remarked.

“It was fine,” Lin Jingjing said with a nonchalant shrug. “He’s still alive, after all.”
