Sorcerer: I want to be an Academic Prodigy

Chapter 669 - 643: Throne Demon Body_2

Chapter 669: Chapter 643: Throne Demon Body_2

“This deity’s common name is Antoinette Margaret, and I am subject to—–”

“So you’re the Heavenly Girl who was cast down to the mortal world, it’s you. The former Spring Goddess! You and I have no old grudges or recent hatred, what are you doing here?”

“Entrusted by a little mermaid to settle the blood debt in your place, moreover, I despise scum like you who slaughter life recklessly. Go to hell!”

After stating her intention, Antoinette gave no chance for further nonsense and immediately sprang into action.

The ground around the deep valley trembled violently, and everything compressed by the shockwaves abruptly changed color.

The battle situation was crystal clear, one-sided; with just a small demonstration of power, Antoinette forced the Father of Holy Light into an embarrassing position, barely able to defend himself.

“Heavenly Girl, leave quickly, and I shall let bygones be bygones.”

“If you can’t fight, then you can’t fight, yet you’re still babbling so much. Soon, I will pluck all your feathers.”

“Don’t push me too far!”

Facing the aggressive Heavenly Girl, the Father of Holy Light had no choice but to reveal his demon form, causing the earth to rumble repeatedly as if something was rapidly writhing beneath.

“Roar!”

In an instant, a massive creature appeared, trampling peaks under its feet, looking down at the ground from above.

What a grotesque giant spider it was!

Even from a distance, Ivan and Angela could see it clearly, intimidated by its aura.

“Earlier, it seemed to be drawing power from this floating continent in large quantities, wasn’t it?”

Ivan stared in amazement at the distance; it was his first time witnessing a giant demon spirit body congealed by a demon spirit.

The sheer size was incredible, at least two thousand meters long.

It fits well with the nature of beings from the Elf Plane, who favor large builds, equating size with strength. But it makes one wonder how much such a colossal form consumes in a day; would it eat itself into poverty?

“Yes, yes, this should be the Throne Demon Form, though the specifics I do not know.” Angela also marveled at it.

“Interesting.” Ivan glanced thoughtfully at the ground beneath him. This land must be closely related to the opponent’s Throne Demon Form, as the giant spider continued drawing power from it, merging without any hindrance.

In contrast to the giant spider, Antoinette’s demeanor in battle appeared much more elegant.

She revealed her Divine Battle Body, clad in elegant and regal light armor, wielding a divine staff, with hair streaming from under her helmet, looking exceptionally valiant.

The whole scene seemed like a goddess vanquishing a ferocious beast.

As everyone hoped, the wicked beast was repeatedly forced to retreat.

“Go! Stop her for me.”

“Holy Light Judgment!”

“Sinner, accept the judgment!”

Unwillingly, the Father of Holy Light summoned his host of Heavenly Messengers, commanding them to charge at the enemy in a desperate attempt to buy some time.

But Antoinette would not give him the chance, relentlessly pursuing the giant spider.

Eventually, the Throne Demon Form of the Father of Holy Light was shattered into pieces, its state undeniably miserable.

“Look! Something is happening, this piece of land is rising rapidly.”

After the battle subsided, Angela noticed something new, pointing outside to indicate.

“I see it,” said the sorcerer.

Ivan nodded; now was not the time to discuss it. He signaled Angela to accompany him in greeting their returning comrade from battle.

Throughout the fight, the two of them had been merely spectators, contributing no effort themselves, feeling a tad embarrassed.

“What bad luck, that guy still managed to escape.” Antoinette landed on the ground, her face showing a hint of unwillingness.

“A throne is not so easy to kill; this level is enough to demonstrate your strength,” Ivan remarked.

“Not enough. This is merely someone who has condensed the Earth Demon Throne, whereas that villain had long ago condensed the Sky Demon Throne, placing their strength higher by more than a level.”

Antoinette shook her head slightly.

She no longer kept secrets, actively explaining the characteristics of the throne demon bodies of demon spirits: generally, there are two types—Earth Demon Throne and Sky Demon Throne.

Each floating continent within the Royal Meals territory actually corresponds to a Throne Demon Form.

Because, at Level 6, when a demon spirit condenses an Earth Demon Throne, they must construct a corresponding floating continent to serve as the power reliance for the Earth Demon Throne, allowing its consumption and recovery.

One day, transforming the Earth Demon Throne into a Sky Demon Throne would free it from this bond.

“The Elf Plane truly is a unique plane.”

Listening to her explanation, Ivan was both surprised and unsurprised.

Surprised at the number of thrones here; it was staggering. Unsurprised because Danaila also had similar means before, which was ‘contesting for the throne,’ where all beings competed for naturally congealed thrones.

Unfortunately, after a grueling battle, Danaila Plane’s power was not as it once was, and contests for thrones ceased.

“So, your consolidation is of the Sky Demon Throne, a throne that can genuinely leverage the power of rules?”

“Yes and no. We Heavenly Girls are different from other beings; we can only condense a singular type of Throne Demon Form—the Four Seasons Throne. Its effects, well, have both advantages and disadvantages. One reason I have delayed ascending to supreme power is due to this factor.”

“Thank you for clearing my doubts.”

Ivan asked no further; probing more into the other’s mastery of power could be sensitive.

Moreover, someone was approaching.

“Venerable Lord.”

“Mr. Ivan.”

“This is the Spring Goddess—Antoinette Margaret.”

“——”

The hurried arrivals were Templer and Debra, who quickly moved in with excitement to survey the sorcerer they had not seen for many days.

Ivan introduced them to the Spring Goddess.

“Fifty years, that guy won’t wreak havoc for at least fifty years. Understand, little mermaid?” After the greetings, Antoinette relayed excellent news.

This made Debra overflow with joy, promptly expressing gratitude.

Previously, she hadn’t contributed much to helping the other out of trouble. She thought they wouldn’t intervene. Yet, this result was already excellent; fifty years was sufficient for the beings of the Song Praise Plane to do a lot.

Antoinette wasn’t particularly warm towards Debra, merely nodding in acknowledgment after Debra’s gracious thanks, then paying no more attention to her.

“Let’s go, now it’s time for the other antler-bearing fellow.”

“Do you know the exact location?”

Ivan’s spirits were lifted; he had wanted to beat that old antlered fellow for a long time. The old man had spread the Curse of Demon’s Resentment across planes, tormenting them for many years.

Until Mavis sealed it, ultimately removing it with the Prophet’s Treasure Tome.

This encounter, he would never forget.

“Of course, who am I? In this plane, it’s not difficult for me to find someone.” Antoinette responded lightly.

Seeing Debra wanting to help, Antoinette showed no hesitation in wielding her power, taking them away from the land beneath their feet, flying off towards a higher altitude on the right.

After traversing countless mountains and rivers, they arrived at a broader floating continent.

As they neared, the noise could be heard; this was clearly a life paradise teeming with living beings, starkly contrasting the residence of the Father of Holy Light.

Approaching a little more revealed that the situation was different from the noise; this place was not benevolent.

Many ferocious demon beasts that had once plagued the Demon Spirit Continent resided here, guarding a verdant mountain ridge, which, if one could glimpse its entirety, looked like a giant deer lying on the ground.

“The archaic divine power of the Spring God… Who could it be? Oh, it’s a servant who’s been stripped before.”

“Oh, there’s also a familiar aura; is this not my delectable prey? Coming straight to me? Good, good!”

The owner of this place was exceptionally vigilant. As soon as the group landed, a figure flashed on the mountain ridge, a bearded old man with green deer antlers on his head.

The old man’s capabilities were considerable, directly uncovering the identities of two people among them, clearly intending to show dominance.
