Evelyn stared blankly as she followed Caden Lockwood’s steps, unsure of where he was taking her.

But surely, following him couldn’t be wrong!

As night fell, Caden took Evelyn to that secluded place in Southwood, where the lights were still bright and beautiful, reflecting against the stars, making the place seem like a fairyland.

Caden had always been bothered; once, he prepared a surprise for Evelyn and was busy for quite a while, thinking that once she reached there, they could reconcile.

But it was ruined by L.

He was determined to make up for all the unfinished romantic moments with Evelyn!

It seemed that only by compensating for all the bad things in the past could he truly feel at ease.

Evelyn looked excitedly at the lights stretching into the distance, as she walked forward, the ground beneath her feet lit up with each step.

Turning back to look, there was a rainbow bridge built with lights, especially beautiful.

Caden followed beside Evelyn, feeling her happiness, his face always carrying a graceful smile, his brows showing a proud joy that could easily make her happy.

Evelyn ran towards the end of the rainbow bridge, where a table was set.

On the table, there were delicious delicacies that looked particularly appetizing under the illumination of the lights.

Only then did Evelyn touch her stomach, realizing she was indeed hungry.

"Little glutton," Caden’s tone was gentle, his eyes filled with affection meant only for her, "Go on! It’s time for dinner!"

"I was just complaining in my mind, why didn’t you buy me some bread to fill my stomach on the way!" Evelyn chuckled softly, "Now I realize, thankfully I didn’t eat the bread, otherwise it would have been a waste of this feast!"

Caden shook his head helplessly, took Evelyn’s hand, and walked to the table to eat.

Looking at the dishes on the table, each was Evelyn’s favorite, her eyes were shimmering.

Looking at Caden, she exclaimed, "If I keep eating like this, I’ll really get so fat, won’t I?"

"Eat," Caden’s tone was rich with indulgence, "Eat well, when you’re pregnant, you’ll need a good body; the baby will need nutrients from your body."

Listening to this, a blush appeared on Evelyn’s cheeks.

She looked at Caden shyly, picked up the chopsticks, and began to stuff food into her mouth.

Caden’s smile deepened at the corner of his lips; every time he watched Evelyn eat, he felt what she was eating must be super delicious.

It made him unable to resist wanting to eat what’s in her mouth.

However, if he really did that, the timid and shy Evelyn would probably explode on the spot!

Thinking about it, Caden mischievously wanted to give it a try.

"Madam," Caden suddenly spoke, "Don’t move your mouth, there’s something."

Evelyn froze, the ribs she was biting into stopped immediately, then she stared dumbly at Caden, not understanding what was on her mouth.

Caden stood up, walked over to Evelyn, sat on her lap, and then leaned in to kiss her lips, transferring the rib from her mouth to his, savoring it.

Evelyn blinked, her mind going "boom" in that instant.

With wide eyes, she looked at Caden in disbelief, thinking it was all an illusion.

He actually... did?

Heaven!
