Chapter 145: I Want You To Fuck Me

This warmth. This family. This life where Eve and Nonna laughed over wine.

After dinner, Nonna excused herself, she had her favorite show to watch.

Eve and Dimitri moved to his office.

She pulled out her laptop, opened her notes.

"Okay," she said. "So I spent today researching the people on your list. The ones you and Mike identified as potential recruits."

Dimitri’s expression shifted slightly. "Eve..."

"Before you say anything, just look." She turned the laptop toward him. "Giovanni Ricci. You guys identified him as mercenary, follows money. But I found something else."

She walked him through what she’d discovered. The villa. The unpaid taxes. The underground construction.

"He’s not just a weapons supplier," Eve said. "He’s running something for your father out of that villa. Something big enough that he spent 3 million euros building secret facilities. Which means he’s more compromised than you thought. You’ll need leverage, not just better terms."

Dimitri stared at her research, his mind already recalculating.

She was right.

"And Marcello Bellini," Eve continued. "You guys identified his wife’s medical treatment as a weak point. But I dug deeper."

She showed him what she’d found about Sofia Bellini. The cancer treatment. The connection to Prometheus.

"Antonio is using her as a test subject," Eve said quietly. "Marcelo might not even know. Or he does and he’s accepted it because it’s the only way to keep her alive. Either way, if you show him proof that your father is experimenting on his wife, that changes everything."

Dimitri looked at her, something like wonder crossing his face.

"You found this in one afternoon."

"I know how to research people. How to find the stories beneath the surface." Eve smiled slightly. "It’s what I do with talent. Figure out what drives them, what scares them, what they’ll sacrifice for. Same skills, different application."

"Eve..." He pulled her into his lap, framed her face with his hands. "This is brilliant. All of it. You found angles we completely missed."

"I wanted to help. To contribute something real." She searched his face. "Was I wrong to dig into this?"

"No." He kissed her softly. "You were exactly right. This is what partnership means. Using all our skills to be stronger together than we are apart."

Eve melted into him, relief flooding through her.

"So what now?" she asked against his mouth.

"Now?" Dimitri stood, lifting her with him. "Now I show you exactly how much I appreciate having you as my partner."

He carried her to the bedroom, kicked the door closed behind them.

POV: EVE

Dimitri laid her on the bed, stripped her slowly, worshipfully, his eyes tracking every inch of exposed skin.

"You’re incredible," he murmured, kissing his way down her body. "So fucking brilliant. I don’t deserve you."

"Stop talking," Eve breathed, arching into his touch. "And touch me."

And he did.

His hands and mouth were everywhere, building her up slowly, making her ache with the deliberate pace.

When he finally pushed inside her, Eve gasped, her hands fisting in the sheets.

"Look at me," Dimitri commanded, and she did.

Silver-gray eyes locked on hers as he moved, each thrust measured and controlled, hitting deep enough to make her see stars.

"I love you," he said, his voice rough. "I love your mind. Your strength. Your fucking brilliance."

"Show me," Eve whispered. "Show me how much."

And he did, He made love to her with an intensity that stole her breath, that made tears prick behind her eyes, that left her gasping his name as she came apart.

He followed her over, spilling inside her with a groan, his forehead pressed to hers.

For long moments, they just breathed together, hearts pounding in sync.

Then Dimitri rolled them so she was on top, still buried deep inside her.

"Stay here," he murmured. "I’m not ready to let you go yet."

They stayed like that for a while, connected and quiet, his hands stroking her back, her head on his chest.

Finally, Eve spoke.

"You’re going to tell me I need to stop researching, aren’t you?"

Dimitri’s hands stilled. "How did you know?"

"Because I know you. And I know you’re going to say it’s too dangerous. That your father has people everywhere. That if they catch me digging into his operations, I’ll become a target."

"It’s true." Dimitri’s voice was careful. "My father’s people are everywhere, picola. And they’re good at spotting threats. If they catch you researching his inner circle, investigating his people, they’ll report it to him. And then you’ll be in his sights."

"But..."

"Let me and Mike handle the research for now. We know how to dig without leaving traces. How to investigate without raising flags." His arms tightened around her. "Please, Eve. I need you safe more than I need your help with this specific thing."

Eve pulled back to look at him, saw the fear behind his eyes.

"You’re terrified I’ll end up like your mother."

"Yes." The word was raw. "If something happened to you because of this....because of my war with my father.....I wouldn’t survive it."

Eve was quiet for a long moment, understanding his fear but hating the restrictions.

Then she smiled....slow and wicked.

"I’ll agree to step back from the research," she said. "But only if you do something for me first."

Dimitri’s eyes narrowed. "What?"

"Fuck me again." She rolled her hips, feeling him already hardening inside her again. "Doggy style. I want you to fuck me as hard as you can. Until I’m begging you to stop. Until I can’t think anymore. Until you’ve fucked every thought of investigation and research right out of my head."

His hands tightened on her hips. "Eve...."

"That’s my price Dimitri," she said firmly. "You want me to step back? To trust you and Mike to handle it? Then fuck me until I can’t argue anymore. Until my body remembers who it belongs to. Until I’m so thoroughly used that I can’t think about anything except you."
