Chapter 983: Sword Peak

"Jie, come with us to record attendance at the Sword and Beast Taming Peaks!" said Yue Ruxia.

Yue Jixia said, "We don’t have classes today. The Peak Masters said it’s only for introductions among new registered disciples. Only need to record attendance. Jie, accompany us for a bit."

Seeing their pair of silver eyes and silver highlight on their black hair shows that they were people from the Ancient Moon Clan.

People immediately recognize them,

"Silver hair and irises! They are the Twin Moon Princess from the Ancient Moon Clan!"

Some registered disciples of the Sword Peak immediately came over towards their group of three and saluted.

"Is this the token, Shijie?" Yue Jixia asked while holding a black token with sword character on it.

"Dashijie (Eldest Senior Sister)! Yue-Shijie! Welcome to the sword’s peak!"

In each peak, there are three kinds of disciples. First is the direct disciples of the Peak Master. These are disciples who can receive direct teachings from the Peak Master themselves and most likely learn the core techniques the Peak Master possessed. Next if the named disciples, this kind of disciple are only second to the direct one. Being put in this group meant you have talent but not the heavenly defying kind. What you can learn from the Peak Master is limited as well, but you can learn from the direct disciples. The last kind of disciple is called the registered disciples, this kind of students were disciples only registered as a part of the Peak you have chosen. It means you have passed the trial of that peak but wasn’t approved by the Peak Master to become his true disciple. They were most likely chosen to serve the Named and Direct disciples of the peak.

The Moon Goddess inspected the black token and realized that this token in her second sister’s possession is the personal token of Peak Master Lao Mo.

"It seems that you were chosen as Elder Lao Mo’s direct disciple, Xiao Ji. Let’s go up and meet your future master," said Yue Xuexia.

A registered disciple chosen by Yue Xuexia had escorted the three of them to the Sword Peak where Peak Master Lao Mo is meditating with his sword floating just by his side.
