Chapter 334: Royal Palace
As the Royal entourage, followed by Rhain and his battered Domain Masters, formally departed Cloud’s Apex and headed toward the Royal Palace, it was as if a dam had burst.
In every tavern, every market square, every noble estate, and every sect across the Inner Province and the Outer Frontier, the roar of the masses was deafening.
"HE WON! GRANDMASTER KORRYN WON!"
"A Pill-Veined Emperor-Grade Pill! We just witnessed history being written!"
"Did you see the Alchemy Emperor kneeling? He actually begged to be a disciple, and Korryn just threw him away!"
"Celestial Elixir Pavilion is going to become the greatest power in the dynasty! We need to go there immediately! I don’t care if I have to sell my house, I am buying one of those flawless pills!"
The reputation of the Celestial Elixir Pavilion, which had been dragged through the mud in past two weeks, skyrocketed to an entirely unprecedented dimension.
It was no longer just a prominent commercial establishment.
It was now a holy land of alchemy.
And Grandmaster Korryn was now accepted by everyone as the true God of Alchemy.

Escorted by Emperor Haldrion’s personal golden-armored guards, Rhain and his battered subordinates stepped through the awe-inspiring main gates of the Royal Palace.
As they crossed the threshold, Rhain looked at his surroundings.
Even with his usually placid and unbothered demeanor, he could not help but be genuinely amazed by the scale of the Imperial Family’s stronghold.
The buildings surrounding them were unimaginably huge, piercing straight through the cloud layer.
Even the smallest pavilions in the outer palaces were thousands of meters high.
As for the main palaces situated closer to the center?
The grandest among them were simply incomprehensible.
They were so impossibly tall that Rhain couldn’t even see their peaks.
It was, without a doubt, the grandest and most magnificent palace he had ever laid eyes on.
The moment his boots officially crossed the threshold of the imperial grounds, a familiar, crisp mechanical voice rang out in his mind.
[Ding!]

[Would you like to sign in?]
A keen light danced in Rhain’s dark grey eyes.
’Sign in,’ he confirmed internally without a second thought.
[Location Sign-In Successful!]
[Congratulations! You have received the Emperor-Grade Martial Art: Eight Desolates Tyrant Fist.]
[Item cannot be stored in the system space. It has been directly integrated into the host’s consciousness.]
BOOM—!!!
A torrential flood of ancient, profoundly knowledge detonated directly within his mind.
As the foundational truths of the technique became clear, Rhain was thoroughly shocked.
Eight Desolates Tyrant Fist.
Unlike the Heaven’s Judgement Finger, which relied on extreme essence compression to pierce defenses, this technique was built upon one single principle.
Absolute destruction.
It required the user to possess an impossibly monstrous physique to withstand and channel the entirety of their essence and raw bodily strength into a single blow.
It perfectly complements his Abyssal Sovereign Physique.
The power of this martial art easily surpassed everything else he had in his arsenal.
It had instantaneously become his strongest trump card.
"Grandmaster Korryn."
Emperor Haldrion’s majestic voice pulled Rhain from his thoughts.
Haldrion turned, gesturing toward a large group of elderly men and women clad in white and grey robes, who had just rushed over from the inner palace.
"These are the highest-ranking royal healers," Haldrion introduced. "They possess the finest medical arts and life-sustaining elixirs in the dynasty. Please, allow them to tend to your brave subordinates."
The royal healers immediately swarmed forward.
They gathered around Vulcan, Luka, Dex, and the other nineteen Domain Masters who had selflessly thrown their bodies into the path of the Emperor’s Pill Tribulation.
Glowing green essence and precious medicinal salves were rapidly applied to their broken bones and scorched flesh.
A few moments later, the leading royal healer—a peak Domain Master whose medical expertise was second to none—stepped respectfully toward Rhain.
He looked at Rhain’s blood-stained white robes and the burnt skin beneath.
"Grandmaster, please allow me to examine your meridians," the head healer offered, bowing deeply. "You took a direct strike from the Heavenly Thunder. The internal damage must be severe."
Rhain simply raised his hand, his expression perfectly calm.
"There is no need," Rhain stated, politely but firmly dismissing the exalted healer. "My foundation is perfectly fine. Focus your efforts entirely on my men."
The royal healer froze, exchanging uncertain glances before bowing deeply and retreating.
Emperor Haldrion nodded in understanding, naturally assuming that a man capable of refining a Pill-Veined Emperor-Grade pill possessed his own, vastly superior healing methods.
A high-ranking attendant swiftly stepped forward, escorting Rhain to a luxurious guest palace designated exclusively for his faction.
The residence was magnificently vast.
Complete with serene spiritual ponds, lush gardens, and heavily warded meditation chambers, it could easily house a hundred people comfortably.
"Rest well," Rhain commanded his subordinates.
"Yes, Master!" Vulcan, the mercenray brothers, and the Domain Masters chorused, bowing deeply before being escorted to their respective chambers by the royal servants.
Rhain did not linger in the grand halls.
He walked directly into the largest master chamber at the center of the palace and firmly shut the doors behind him.
The moment he was entirely alone, the dignified, scholarly aura of Grandmaster Korryn vanished.
Rhain sat cross-legged on the silk-draped bed.
He closed his eyes and sank his consciousness to inspect his internal injuries.
"Abyssal Sovereign Technique."
BOOM—!
The residual destructive purple lightning essence from the Emperor’s Pill Tribulation that was still wreaking havoc inside his flesh and organs was ruthlessly suppressed.
Like a supermassive black hole, the dark void forcibly devoured the heavenly lightning, violently refining it and using the pure energy to temper his flesh and bones to an even more terrifying degree of durability.
For the next few hours, Rhain remained perfectly still.
The severe internal ruptures and the scorched skin closed at a visible rate, leaving behind flawless skin.
By the time he slowly opened his dark grey eyes, he had completely recovered his peak condition.
He rose from the bed, and changed into a fresh, immaculate set of white robes that perfectly suited his Grandmaster disguise.
Just as he finished adjusting his collar—
"Grandmaster Korryn."
A highly respectful voice echoed from outside the chamber doors.
"The sun has set. His Majesty, the Emperor, awaits your presence. The grand banquet prepared in your honor is ready to commence."
Rhain’s dark grey eyes flashed with a calculating light.
"I am coming," Rhain replied, his voice returning to that dignified, middle-aged tone.
He pushed the heavy golden doors open and followed the elite royal attendant through the illuminated corridors of the Imperial Palace.
Soon, they arrived before a set of towering, hundred-foot-tall doors.
This was the grandest banquet hall in the entire Solathane Dynasty.
Even from the outside, Rhain could hear the bustling noise coming from within.
The laughter of the Imperial Patriarchs.
The clinking of jade cups and the boisterous conversations of the highest echelon of Domain Masters and nobles in the kingdom.
It was a gathering of true giants of the dynasty.
The royal attendant stopped before the massive doors. He took a deep breath, infusing his voice with profound essence.
"GRANDMASTER KORRYN HAS ARRIVED!"
The attendant’s voice boomed like a thunderclap.
Rhain placed his hands casually behind his back.
With a placid expression, he stepped over the threshold and walked into the impossibly grand hall.
The effect was instantaneous.
The boisterous laughter abruptly ceased.
The elegant music played by the royal musicians halted.
In the span of a single heartbeat, the bustling room fell utterly silent.
