Chapter 331: Greatest Alchemist of the Dynasty

"Open your eyes, Solathane Dynasty! Look upon this pill and tell me... does my Celestial Elixir Pavilion look like a fraud?"

The majestic voice of Grandmaster Korryn echoed like the tolling of a divine bell, reverberating across thousands of colossal projection arrays.

Across the dynasty, hundreds of millions of ordinary citizens and low-level cultivators stared at the projection arrays in confusion.

"What are those golden lines on it?" a young cultivator in a crowd muttered, scratching his head. "I’ve never seen an Emperor-Grade pill before, but shouldn’t it be solid gold like the one Lord Marcellis refined?"

"I don’t know... but it literally tried to fly away!" another man gasped. "Since when do pills have a mind of their own?"

But among the countless masses, there were hidden, gray-haired rogue alchemists and veteran appraisers who had spent their entire lives studying ancient texts.

When their trembling eyes traced the perfect, leaf-like golden patterns etched onto the pill’s surface, they felt as if they had attained salvation.

"P-Pill Veins..." an ancient, wrinkled alchemist shrieked in the middle of a bustling city square, dropping to his knees as tears streamed down his face. "By the gods... it’s a Pill-Veined Emperor-Grade Pill! My life is blessed after looking at this divine creation."

The revelation spread through the crowds like a wildfire.

"PILL VEINS!"

"He birthed a sentient pill! It’s a miracle from the ancient legends!"

"And we called him a fraud! We believed he was selling demonic poison!"

The realization crashed into the minds of the masses, and the entire Solathane Dynasty erupted into a state of madness.

Those who had spent the last two weeks viciously slandering the Celestial Elixir Pavilion suddenly felt their faces burning with profound shame.

They wanted to crawl into a hole and hide.

How could a man capable of seizing the laws of heaven and earth to forge a Pill-Veined Emperor-Grade elixir ever need to rely on cheap demonic tricks?

To accuse such a man of using ’demonic arts’ was the greatest blasphemy against the path of Alchemy!

"We were lied to!" a rogue cultivator roared furiously, pointing an accusing finger at the screen. "The Royal Court lied to us! Alchemy Emperor Marcellis was just jealous!"

"Yes! They couldn’t match his skills, so they tried to destroy him with a baseless smear campaign! Celestial Elixir Pavilion is innocent!"

The supporters of the Pavilion, those who had directly benefited from the flawless pills, wept tears of joy and roared in vindication.

The overwhelming tide of public opinion completely reversed in the blink of an eye, transforming into a tidal wave of backlash aimed at the Royal Court.

------------------

Thousands of miles away, in the serene bamboo grove of the Valdris Royal Academy.

Dean Qaylus staggered backward, catching himself against a bamboo stalk.

"He actually did it..." Qaylus muttered, "He achieved the impossible and defeated the Alchemy Emperor!"

Sitting on his wooden stump, a look of admiration, and awe appeared on Old Dean’s withered face. "Our Valdris Royal Academy has made the greatest investment in its history."

Inside Rhain’s secluded guest courtyard.

Seris stared at the projection array, her pale purple eyes overflowing with tears.

But this time, they were tears of immeasurable relief and pride.

"He won..." Seris wept softly, pressing her hands against her chest as a breathtakingly beautiful smile bloomed across her face. "My husband won..."

Liana hugged Seris tightly, her emerald eyes glowing with unrestrained happiness. "He is incredible! He really is invincible!"

Elara let out a long, shuddering exhale, a graceful, triumphant smile spreading across her beautiful face.

Her massive gamble had paid off beyond her wildest dreams.

Even Lyra, standing with her arms crossed, was entirely speechless. Her crimson eyes stared at the dignified, middle-aged figure on the screen.

She bit her lip, her haughty pride entirely crushed by the sheer, god-like magnitude of his achievement.

"How would I ever defeat a man like this..." Lyra admitted bitterly, already losing all her previous stubbornness.

Even though she was fiercely arrogant, she had understood that Rhain was at an entirely different level than her.

--------------------

Within the Vaelstrum Clan’s ancestral estate.

The Patriarch and the decaying Ancestor stared at the screen, with the identical looks of ecstatic frenzy.

"He refined it... an Emperor-Grade pill with Pill Veins!" the Ancestor spoke vigorously despite his withered state, "Vaelstrum Clan is saved! My life is saved!"

"Send the orders!" the Patriarch roared to the inner council. "Sever all remaining ties with Crown Prince Lucius immediately! Vaelstrum Clan formally aligns with the Celestial Elixir Pavilion!"

------------------

Thousands of miles away in Stormveil City.

Carmilla let out a melodious laugh, "Hahaha! That little thief! He never fails to amaze me."

Myrielle also smiled brightly, it’s hard to imagine that it’s the same boy she once refused to accept as the Core Palace disciple.

Preceptor Fabian and the High Preceptors roared with triumphant laughter, their chests puffing out with pride.

-------------------

Far away in the Outer Frontier, within the main hall of the Mirravele City Alchemy Guild.

Guild Master Aldric was weeping uncontrollably, kowtowing repeatedly toward the massive projection array.

"Master is invincible! Master is the true God of Alchemy! Hahahaha! I am the disciple of the greatest alchemist in the world." Aldric shrieked fanatically, entirely uncaring of his dignified status as his hundreds of bewildered disciples watched him in awe, wondering if their master had lost his mind.

In the Silvercrest Clan estate, Patriarch Aurelian and Old Patriarch Solas exchanged deeply reverent glances, unable to fully comprehend the sheer magnitude of this win.

And at the Azure Cloud Sect, Sect Master Harmon, Silas, Torin, Maren, Roderick, and the young prodigies cheered celebrating the victory of the Celestial Elixir Pavilion without ever realizing that the god-like figure on the screen was their very own Supreme Elder.

---------------------

Back atop Cloud’s Apex.

Alchemy Emperor Marcellis stared at the golden-veined pill in Rhain’s hand with his ancient eyes.

For eight hundred years, he had studied the path of Alchemy, refining countless elixirs, and consuming mountains of ancient texts.

Yet, he had never even dared to dream of refining a Pill-Veined Emperor-Grade Pill.

However today, a wandering alchemist had just achieved it right before his very eyes, using an ordinary blue spiritual flame until the very last moment!

"I am... nothing,’ Marcellis’s worldview shattered into a million irreparable pieces. His towering pride collapsed, leaving only a crushing feeling of inadequacy and shame.

A few paces away, Crown Prince Lucius’s handsome face had turned completely ashen.

The veins on his neck bulged, and his fists were clenched so tightly that his perfectly manicured nails dug into his palms, drawing blood.

His grand scheme to force Korryn into submission, to seize the Celestial Elixir Pavilion, and to isolate Rhain had just been destroyed before him.

But amidst the paralyzed Royal Court, one man stepped forward.

Emperor Haldrion.

Haldrion looked at the dignified, blood-stained middle-aged man standing in front of him.

As the supreme ruler of the Solathane Dynasty, his mind evaluated the situation on an entirely different level.

’A man who can refine a Pill-Veined Emperor-Grade pill...’ Haldrion’s mind spun with ambitious thoughts. ’If my Royal Court can secure his loyalty... if he joins my Imperial Family... We can produce a legion of Monarchs!"

With this man’s unparalleled alchemy, the Solathane Dynasty could easily break past its current limits.

Within fifty years, they could evolve from a low-tier dynasty into a mid-tier dynasty!

The strategic value of Grandmaster Korryn had just eclipsed everything else.

The petty squabbles of the Crown Prince, the rumors, the pride of Marcellis—it was all completely irrelevant now.

"Grandmaster Korryn!"

Emperor Haldrion’s majestic voice rolled across the mountain peak, instantly commanding the attention of the hundreds of millions watching.

Haldrion offered a respectful nod.

"Your alchemical prowess is truly peerless. The heavens themselves have testified to your perfection. I, Emperor Haldrion Solathane, officially declare you the victor of this duel!"

A deafening erupt across the dynasty that could even be heard from the Cloud’s Apex, but Haldrion did not stop.

"The Royal Decree issued against the Celestial Elixir Pavilion is immediately retracted!" Haldrion proclaimed grandly. "Furthermore, the Royal Court deeply apologizes for the inconveniences and misunderstandings your esteemed establishment was forced to endure. To compensate for this slight, I personally grant you a prime, limitless estate in the very center of the Imperial Capital to open your primary branch, completely exempt from all imperial taxes!"

It was an offer that would make anyone with envy.

Land in the center of the Imperial Capital was priceless, and tax exemption was a privilege reserved only for the Imperial Families!

It was a masterclass in imperial politics.

In one breath, Haldrion had erased the hostility, offered a king’s ransom in compensation, and subtly attempted to bind this supreme Alchemy Emperor to the capital.

The Imperial Patriarchs behind him nodded in silent approval.

Securing Korryn was worth a hundred times more than saving face today.

But Rhain did not smile.

He slowly lowered his bloodied hand, securely storing the Pill-Veined Emperor-Grade pill into his spatial ring.

His golden eyes looked at the Emperor calmly.

"Your Majesty is truly generous," Rhain spoke, "I accept your retraction of the decree, and I will gladly accept the estate in the capital."

Rhain’s gaze slowly shifted, locking onto the trembling, pale figure of Marcellis.

"However, Your Majesty seems to have forgotten a crucial detail."

Rhain took a step forward.

"The terms of this duel were clear. If I lost, my life and my Pavilion belonged to the Royal Court."

Rhain’s voice echoed across the dynasty.

"But if I win, Alchemy Emperor Marcellis will kneel before me, apologize to the entire dynasty, and confess that his words were a malicious lie."

Rhain’s eyes sharpened, his aura radiating an overlord-like dominance.

"So, I will ask the Alchemy Emperor respectfully, KNEEL!"
