And this Jade Pendant, under Han Lei’s series of manipulations, will cause his family to fall into an abyss of destruction.

The carriage gradually moved farther away and soon disappeared at the end of the dusty road.

Wei Dabao turned and patted Luo Hai on the shoulder, smiling: "Come on, let’s go to your Tongfu Building for a couple of drinks! Let’s drink your Drunken Immortal Brew."

Luo Hai nodded, his face still showing a calm expression.

He followed behind Wei Dabao, but his gaze thoughtfully glanced in the direction the carriage had gone, feeling a vague sense of unease in his heart.

Although Han Lei successfully obtained Wei Dabao’s identity Jade Pendant, what does she plan to do with it? Is she going to do something dangerous?

But soon, Luo Hai suppressed this uneasy feeling and, together with Wei Dabao, took the carriage to the Tongfu Building in the county.

Just as Han Lei, along with a few brothers from the Big Character Team, embarked on the road to the Capital City, on the Turkic Grassland, they were working hard to produce more "peanuts".

The prairie wind gently brushed through the grass, carrying the moist scent of earth, and the afterglow of the sunset bathed the vast grassland in golden light.

The herder’s mother was crouching outside the tent, adding firewood to the fire, as small bubbles began to rise from the water in the iron pot, steam billowing hotly.

She wiped the sweat from her forehead and was about to get up to fetch the mare’s milk wine when suddenly, she heard heavy footsteps approaching from behind.

"Mother, I’m sorry!" a rough voice sounded.

The mother turned around, only to see several Turkic warriors striding over, their eyes fixed intently on the iron pot in her hands. One of them reached out to grab it.

"What are you doing!" The mother was panic-stricken and spread her arms to protect the iron pot behind her, "This is my only iron pot, how will I boil water without it?"

"The Khan has ordered that all iron tools be surrendered!" The warrior said mercilessly, pushing the mother aside and grabbing the handle of the pot, "What is this sacrifice for conquering the Da Jing Dynasty!"

"But it’s mine!" The mother rushed forward desperately, her rough, cracked hands also grasping the pot’s handle, her voice tinged with sobs, "You can’t do this!"

"Mother, don’t make it hard for us."

Another warrior frowned, his tone slightly softened, "Who dares defy the new Khan’s orders? Besides, once we defeat the Da Jing Dynasty, you’ll have as many iron pots as you want!"

"Defeat the Da Jing Dynasty?" The mother’s voice trembled, "But we can’t even eat, how can we fight a war!"

The warrior said no more and yanked forcefully, pulling the pot from the mother’s hands.

The hot water inside splashed onto the ground, some splattering onto the mother’s feet, causing her to cry out in pain and fall to the ground.

"Mother, I’m sorry!" The warrior carried the pot away, striding off with a long shadow cast in the sunset.

The mother sat on the ground, tears streaming down her cheeks. She looked at the empty fire, murmuring to herself, "How can we live like this..."

Meanwhile, not far away, in another tent, a herder was preparing dinner with his wife.

The lamb soup bubbled in the iron pot, its aroma filling the air.

The herder picked up a wooden ladle, scooped up some soup, blew on it to cool it down, and was about to drink it.

Suddenly, the tent’s flap was violently opened, letting in a cold wind.

"Who!" The herder stood up alertly, almost dropping the wooden ladle.

Three Turkic warriors burst in, their eyes scanning the space before finally fixing on the iron pot.

"The iron pot, hand it over," the leading warrior said coldly.

"What?" The herder’s wife was stunned, "This is our cooking pot, why do you want it?"

"The Khan has ordered all iron tools be surrendered to make ’peanuts’," the warrior said impatiently, waving his hand, "Stop wasting time, hand it over quickly!"

"But it’s our only pot!" The herder was anxious, standing in front of the pot, "Without it, how will we eat?"

"Eat?" The warrior sneered, "After we defeat the Da Jing Dynasty, you’ll have as much food as you want! Now, stop wasting time!"

"Defeat the Da Jing Dynasty?" The herder’s wife seemed to hear the world’s funniest joke and couldn’t help raising her voice.

"You melted down all our scimitars and arrows to make ’peanuts’. And now you’re even taking our pot. How do you expect to fight? We can’t even eat!"

"Stop talking nonsense!" The warrior pushed the herder aside and reached for the pot.

"You can’t do this!" The herder’s wife threw herself forward to try to stop him.
