Han Lei raised an eyebrow and softly asked, "Did they mention any treasures?"

The team leader nodded, "Yes, from the way they talked, it seems they think this place is where treasures are hidden."

Han Lei burst out laughing with a sly glint in her eyes.

"That fat guy is quite amusing. However... since he’s related to the Wei Family..." Han Lei suddenly stopped in her tracks, a spark of inspiration flashing through her mind.

She motioned Luo Hai and the team leader to come closer and whispered something to them. Moments later, all three of them had a mischievous grin on their faces.

Ahead, the group led by Wei Dabao kept walking and felt more and more that there seemed to be an unpleasant smell of manure in the air.

Zhang San wrinkled his nose, unable to help but say, "Master, this smell isn’t right; are we going the wrong way?"

Wei Dabao, however, didn’t care at all and instead quickened his pace.

"What do you know? The less obvious a place, the more likely it is to hide great treasures! Keep up!"

As they walked further, the air was filled with the sounds of pigs squealing, the noise growing louder as if right beside their ears.

Li was a bit hesitant and said quietly, "Master, why are there pig sounds here? Are we..."

"Shut up!" Wei Dabao interrupted impatiently, "Whatever it is, as long as there’s treasure inside, it belongs to me!"

Finally, they hurried to the row of gray-blue houses.

Wei Dabao bent over with his hands on his knees, panting heavily but his face was flushed with excitement.

Without even taking a moment to rest, he pushed open the door impatiently and looked inside.

However, the scene before him left him utterly dumbfounded.

The room was nothing like the gold and jewels he imagined; instead, it was full of plump pigs, snorting and crowding in small low pens, with the strong smell of manure in the air.

"What... how could it be like this?" Wei Dabao’s eyes widened, and the smile on his face froze instantly.

Zhang San and Li were also stunned, looking at each other in confusion.

"Master, this... this seems like a pig farm..." Li stammered.

Wei Dabao’s face turned livid instantly, he swung around and slapped Li across the face.

"Useless! Didn’t you say there was treasure here? Why is it all pigs?"

Zhang San and Li were so frightened they quickly kneeled down, kowtowing repeatedly.

"Master, please don’t be angry! Master, please don’t be angry! We only guessed because of the strict guard here..."

Wei Dabao gritted his teeth, trembling with rage, his plump body shaking uncontrollably.

Looking around, he saw that the farmers, who had been hiding far away, were now peeking out from the lush fields, watching them with a mocking smile on their faces.

Wei Dabao felt fury rushing to his head; he thought he would make a great fortune today, but instead, he became the butt of a joke.

The more he thought about it, the angrier he got. He waved his hand and shouted to the protectors behind him, "Smash it! Smash this damn place to bits for me!"

The protectors looked at each other, but not daring to defy Wei Dabao’s order, they steeled themselves to charge into the pig pen, waving their sticks, knives, and swords, and started smashing things randomly.

The pigs, frightened, started running around chaotically. The noises of squealing pigs and smashing merged into a chaotic scene.

"Stop! What do you think you’re doing?"

Luo Hai’s voice suddenly rang out at the entrance to the pigsty.

The protectors stopped their actions and, together with Wei Dabao, looked towards the entrance.

Seeing Luo Hai, Wei Dabao’s anger flared up even more.

"Luo Hai, just in time!" Wei Dabao shouted through gritted teeth.

He waddled over quickly, shaking his finger at Luo Hai, and began to demand, "Tell me, why is it full of pigs in there?"

Luo Hai looked at him with a clueless expression, "If not pigs, what should it be?"

"Hmph! And also...," Wei Dabao stomped over to the entrance of the pigsty pointing at the lush fields around, angrily questioning, "Why are those all crops?"

Luo Hai stifled a laugh and replied, "Strange, if not crops, then what should it be?"

"You... you..." Wei Dabao trembled a finger at him, too angry to speak.

Finally, he shouted in rage, "Luo Hai, you bastard! Why are you raising pigs here? Why are you planting crops here?"

"Oh! Why so angry, Mr. Wei?" Luo Hai pretended to take a deep breath and said, puzzled, "This county just happened to come by some crop seeds recently. We’re trying them out on this land. What’s wrong with that?"
