Seducing Aliens For SSS-Rank Skills

Chapter 249: First Card Announcement

It didn’t take long for Kalon to figure out what was needed to leave his contract.

That was because when he told Atlas his idea, the man was awfully interested. In fact, he seemed more interested in that idea, than he did if Kalon remaining in his organisation.

That was because he could see the potential in the organisation. He wanted to become an investor in hopes of earning some benefits for himself.

Kalon turned down the investments for the time being, but still left the contract. He made sure to explain to Atlas that eventually he would do work with the man.

That seemed to be good enough.

...

After this, Kalon called Thea and explained his plans to her.

She was immediately on board and excited, however she was sceptical on whether inviting aliens would be a good idea.

Kalon ended up convincing her that it was. In fact, it had to work. He had no interest in starting an organisation if his women couldn’t get involved.

"What are you going to call it?" Thea eventually asked.

When Kalon told her the name, she was utterly surprised.

"The Intergalactic League"

This confused her because she wondered whether it would reveal the identity of aliens.

Kalon assured her that it wouldn’t for a multitude of reasons. The main one being that even the greatest scientists in history had deemed it impossible to leave or enter earth.

Of course these fighters would not be from other galaxies, they would just look like it, since it was apart of the organisation.

And this would be solidified by the fact that the first fighter would be a well known fighter from earth dressed up as an intergalactic species. This would further confirm that anyone that looked strange was actually just wearing a makeup and costume.

And as for who that first fighter would be? Well, Thea Bluegale of course.

Thea had agreed that she was willing to fight Josinia in a friendly bout that would kick off the start to the Intergalactic Empire. Although they would technically be fighting to the death, it would be a good spirited fight with no animosity.

Kalon spent the rest of that day handling more logistics... The boring side of things.

He had to put off space travel for the time being just to focus on this project. Any visit he did make, it was brief, and only to make sure things were still as they were meant to be on his planets.

Day after day eventually ended up passing, until finally, the organisation had been created. The venue, though plain, had been put together.

And most importantly, the fight card had been announced for tomorrow.

The post went up on Kalon’s profile first, then on the new Intergalactic League page, then across every combat board that still watched his name after Wembley.

Intergalactic League – Debut Card

Main bout: Thea Bluegale vs Josinia

Other bouts: None

Venue listed. Time listed. Tickets limited.

The reaction was immediate, loud, and incredibly positive.

People could not believe Kalon Manchester was building an organisation at all. He had only just beaten an Eighth Dragon in under ten seconds.

Most prospects in that position signed deeper contracts, took safer fights to further boost their position in the professional scene, and let a major brand handle the boring stuff.

Instead he had walked away from Atlas early, refused outside investment for the moment, and put up his own card under a name that sounded like a joke until people checked the registration and realised it was real.

Comment threads filled with the same arguments. Some said it was arrogance. Some said it was smart. Some said it would collapse as soon as it starts.

However, no matter what the reactions were, there was no doubt that there were plenty of them. Everyone was talking about the league.

Then the names on the card made it worse.

Thea Bluegale was the first shock. She had resigned from the academy only recently. She was uncontracted. Her mother sat inside True Fighters. For her to appear under Kalon’s brand so quickly made people assume either a private relationship, a political message, or both.

Old academy clips of her water work started circulating again before lunch. Fans who had written her off as a supporting name beside Kalon suddenly had to treat her as the face of a new promotion’s opening night.

Josinia, however, was someone the main talk of the city.

Her professional profile had been created the day before the announcement. One follower at the time of posting. No prior ranked fights. No academy record. No junior circuit trail. No sponsor history. Just a name, a vague listed affinity set, and a booked main event against a known Bluegale fighter in a brand-new organisation run by the most watched young name in the country.

People tried to dig deeper into her background immediately.

They found nothing useful.

No old school photos. No local gym appearances. No prior street credits. A few accounts decided she was a manufactured identity. Perhaps a known fighter fighting under a different identity.

Others said Kalon was protecting a foreign prospect from a different country.

A smaller group joked that Intergalactic League was committing to the bit too hard and had invented a fighter from nowhere to match the logo.

The more serious boards asked the only question that mattered to them: why was a debutant with a one-day-old profile being given a headliner slot against Thea Bluegale on a card designed to launch Kalon’s entire operation?

By evening the announcement post had more engagement than any post Kalon had ever made before.

Ticket interest outpaced the plain venue’s real capacity. Media requests landed on the League page faster than Kalon could sort them. Atlas stayed quiet in public and watchful in private. Ten Dragons people used the moment to change the subject away from Oliver whenever they could.

Through all of it, one line kept repeating under every serious breakdown of the card:

Who is Josinia?
