Samsara Tower: Only I Know the Plot!
Chapter 596 - 594: People Are Looking Forward to It
Following Isla Wynn’s explanation, Fenric finally learned the strategy for the twentieth-floor dungeon.
"So it turns out it’s about bringing newcomers."
Fenric was a little surprised.
Such an assessment mission was truly unusual.
"The maximum number of newcomers is fifteen," Isla Wynn said with a smile. "I think you’re the type who always aims for the highest evaluation, so you’ll definitely fill all the slots."
"So I want to buy one spot. I wonder if you, my old classmate, would be willing?"
Fenric looked at Isla Wynn with a strange expression.
"You’re not afraid that I might overturn the run and get you killed?"
Isla Wynn nodded seriously.
"If it were someone else, I’d definitely be afraid. But you’re different."
At this point, Isla Wynn smiled again.
"Who in the entire Samsara Tower doesn’t know that the mighty Boss Shura is synonymous with Super-God evaluations? If you really do overturn, then I’ll just consider myself unlucky."
Although Isla’s flattery sounded good, Fenric did not immediately agree.
Fenric thought for a moment and then asked, "I remember that I gave you the strategy for the dungeon Infernal Affairs before. Why didn’t you go clear it?"
"I did!"
When mentioning this, Isla Wynn looked a little annoyed.
"I only got an S-level evaluation. I don’t know why, but Superintendent Huang in the dungeon didn’t believe me and almost caused the mission to fail."
The more Isla Wynn talked about it, the angrier she became.
The same strategy had worked perfectly in Fenric’s hands, but when she used it, the effectiveness dropped drastically.
At first, Isla wondered if Fenric had deliberately hidden some information.
But after thinking about it carefully, she concluded that Fenric was not the problem.
First of all, the original transaction had been conducted under the notarization of the Trading Center and the Samsara System. If Fenric had lied, the system would have punished him.
Second.
Later on, Isla had analyzed the method again and confirmed that Fenric’s approach was indeed the simplest and most effective.
The reason she had not succeeded the first time was simply due to personal differences.
Perhaps she simply wasn’t good at lying by nature.
"An S-level evaluation? That’s not my fault," Fenric said in defense. "I told you my method without hiding anything."
"I know," Isla Wynn nodded. "It was probably because I didn’t perform well and was too nervous, which made Superintendent Huang suspicious."
"An S-level evaluation should still give good rewards, right?" Fenric asked.
"It’s okay. I now have 3,000 Samsara Points."
Isla Wynn nodded again and continued.
"I originally planned to enter the Samsara Tower dungeon after the cooldown period ended. But I didn’t expect you to move so quickly. In such a short time, you’re already about to challenge the twentieth floor."
"So I waited for two days, hoping to catch your ride."
"After all, the Samsara Tower dungeons are very dangerous. I want to accumulate more strength before attempting them."
"Of course, if it’s inconvenient for you, just pretend I didn’t say anything."
After saying this, Isla looked at Fenric somewhat nervously.
Fenric smiled.
"Don’t say that. We’re old classmates. Helping each other is normal."
"You can take one of the slots."
"..!"
Isla was overjoyed, her eyes instantly lighting up.
"Fenric, thank you! Don’t worry, I’ll pay whatever price you ask."
Before she could finish speaking, Fenric interrupted her.
"If you still treat me as a classmate, don’t say things like that."
"Besides, I’m not interested in money. I already have enough to spend."
Not interested in money?
If someone else had said that, Isla would have doubted it.
But when Fenric said it, she completely believed him.
Anyone familiar with Fenric’s daily life knew that this former classmate of hers truly lived like a carefree recluse. In reality, his lifestyle resembled that of an otaku.
Most people became otaku because they were poor and had no choice.
Fenric clearly wasn’t poor.
He simply didn’t care.
Someone with ambitions like Fenric had little need for money.
"I understand. Thank you, Fenric," Isla Wynn said gratefully.
Recently, her father had been facing some operational problems with the company.
If she really had to pay for the slot, she could manage it—but it would increase her father’s burden.
Although Fenric said there was no need to pay, Isla silently decided that if she ever had the opportunity, she would repay Fenric.
"No need to be so polite."
Fenric suddenly added, "But let me be clear in advance. The Samsara Tower dungeon worlds are extremely dangerous. If something unexpected happens, I may not be able to guarantee your safety."
Isla nodded quickly.
"I understand that, and I’m mentally prepared. If something goes wrong even with you leading the run, then I’ll accept my fate."
"Alright. It’s too late to start a dungeon tonight. Come find me tomorrow night," Fenric said.
"Deal!"
Isla laughed.
"Then I won’t waste any more of your time. You should get some rest. Good night!"
"Okay. Good night."
The call ended.
...
Somewhere in Samsara Square.
After watching Fenric end the communication, a young girl suddenly couldn’t contain herself and turned around with a cheer.
She had actually prepared herself mentally to be rejected.
After all, too much time had passed without contact, and Fenric was now a major figure far beyond her reach. Being rejected would have been completely normal.
Unexpectedly, Fenric still remembered their old friendship and agreed to take her along.
This was truly wonderful news!
Anyone with a brain knew how rare this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity was.
Just look at the Dungeon Hall in the Safe Zone, where crowds of people were lining up.
Soon afterward.
Isla immediately logged off.
She wanted to tell her father the good news.
Just as she was about to leave Samsara Tower, someone suddenly called out to her.
"Isla? It’s really you!"
A pure-looking female Samsara walked over with a smile.
"I saw you jumping around happily earlier. What good news did you get?"
Seeing the newcomer, Isla mischievously replied, "Personal privacy. Not telling!"
"Tch—fine, keep your secrets!"
The girl pretended to be disdainful and then asked curiously, "Did some male god confess to you?"
Isla rolled her eyes and didn’t bother explaining.
Seeing this, the girl gave up pressing further and sighed.
"Ah! The appeal of Male God Shura is truly terrifying."
"I just came from the Dungeon Hall. It was almost completely packed. I couldn’t even find a place to stand in line!"
Hearing this, Isla remained silent.
The girl seemed to think of something and suddenly said in surprise:
"Oh right, Isla! I remember that you and Male God Shura were classmates, right?"
"Could you talk to him and ask for a slot for me?"
"As long as Male God Shura agrees, any conditions can be discussed!"
Isla’s heart skipped a beat, but she calmly replied:
"I was indeed a classmate of Boss Shura, but we weren’t even in the same class, and we’re not close anymore."
"With his current status, I really don’t have the right to ask him for anything."
"If I could, I’d want him to carry me through the dungeon myself!"
"Oh? Is that so?"
The girl looked at Isla meaningfully and smiled.
"I saw you jumping around happily earlier. I thought Male God Shura had already agreed to bring you into the dungeon."
This girl was clearly not simple.
She had actually noticed Isla Wynn a long time ago.
Isla Wynn had seemed to be talking to someone, but the girl had not approached immediately. Instead, she observed quietly from a distance.
Based on her understanding of Isla, whatever had made her so happy was likely related to Male God Shura’s twentieth-floor trial dungeon.
That was why she had asked.
She also wanted to board Shura’s ride.
Unfortunately, there were far too many people hoping for that chance.
Those fifteen slots were even rarer than national treasures.
"Cousin, you’re overthinking it."
Isla replied calmly.
"I really don’t know Boss Shura that well."
She had no choice but to lie.
If her cousin found out that Shura had actually given her a slot, with her cousin’s personality, there was no telling what kind of trouble she might cause.
"Hehe, Isla, don’t be so nervous. I was just joking."
Her cousin smiled.
"It’s already very late, and there’s no way to get into the queue today anyway. I’m not staying up all night."
"Let’s log off first. Isla, come visit me sometime."
"Okay, cousin."
After watching her cousin disappear from the spot, Isla Wynn finally let out a sigh of relief.
