Samsara Tower: Only I Know the Plot!

Chapter 465 464: The War is Over!

Although Fenric was convinced Adam wasn't truly dead, neither he nor Vivienne had any intention of pursuing him into the Cindralock Dominion.

After all, the Dominion remained the largest nation in the world, with staggering military might. Ordinary weapons might not harm Fenric, but nuclear arms certainly could.

Even if he and Vivienne joined forces to cause chaos there, there was no guarantee Adam could be killed. The risk wasn't worth it.

Fenric knew that given time, the Dominion would be forced to hand Adam over on their own.

Seeing Fenric's grim expression, Vivienne gave a light smile.

"Shura, don't be too discouraged. Adam and Uvall may have escaped this time, but we've still won. Adam came here for you, and he paid dearly for it. For a while, he won't dare stir trouble—or even touch the Samsara Tower again."

She tilted her head and added confidently:

"In other words, we've bought precious time. And I believe in you. With your strength, Adam can't compete for long."

Her eyes flashed. "When next month's large-scale Samsara event—PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds—opens, we'll strike together. That time, Adam won't leave alive."

Fenric's heart stirred. "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds… very good."

Glancing at the time, he saw it was already past ten in the evening.

"It's late. Let's head back."

Vivienne nodded, then teased with a smile: "I did delay your plans tonight and interrupted your appointment. You won't blame me, will you?"

At that, Fenric was slightly embarrassed. "Aurora, actually—"

Vivienne cut him off with a wave and a laugh. "No need to explain. Whatever it is between you two, it's not my concern."

Fenric could only shake his head, speechless.

By then, the other Jadeveil Nation Samsaras had gathered.

"Commander Song!"

"Shura!"

They greeted them warmly, joy clear on their faces.

The government had promised them generous rewards for tonight's operation to "snipe Adam," and now that the mission had succeeded, those rewards were guaranteed.

For themselves, the Samsaras cared little for money or favor. But for their families and for the recognition of the state, it was invaluable.

And more importantly—tonight's battle signaled that Jadeveil Nation's rise was unstoppable.

With two S-rank supermasters—Shura and Vivienne Song—what foreign nation would dare defy them?

"Commander Song, the enemy's gone," reported Zen Zendaruth.

He had seen Adam torn apart by Fenric. The moment that happened, the foreign Samsaras had scattered in panic, fleeing the battlefield. None were foolish enough to remain and risk being crushed into paste by Shura.

Vivienne and Fenric merely nodded. At their current level, A-rank Samsaras no longer even registered in their eyes.

Fenric had no interest in chasing them down. After tonight, those who escaped would learn to keep their heads low.

"Let's return as well," Vivienne said.

The group cast one last look at the battlefield—once the proud territory of a renowned nation, now reduced to a sunken wasteland by Shura's hand.

A shiver of awe rippled through them.

Even among Jadeveil's Samsaras, some had once been skeptical of Shura—too young, too new, too untested.

But after witnessing his terrifying power tonight, all doubts vanished. They were not only convinced, but proud. Proud that Shura was one of their own.

With hearts blazing and the honor of victory upon them, they began their return to the motherland.

The war of the century was over.

—---

The entire world had been watching.

Within hours, news of Jadeveil's triumph swept across the globe. Shura's overwhelming victory, Uvall forced back to hell, and even Adam—suspected dead at his hands—sent shockwaves through every government hall.

Officials who had watched the battle recordings sat in stunned silence, horrified by the sheer devastation one man could unleash.

The sinking of a nation's very landmass—by a single individual—was beyond comprehension.

God of Destruction… nothing less.

Shock quickly turned to calculation. Every major power began rethinking its stance toward Jadeveil.

Past grievances? Forgotten. Rivalries? Buried.

From this moment, all would seek friendly ties.

Overnight, congratulatory messages flooded Jadeveil's channels from capitals around the world.

—---

Meanwhile, at a grand airport in the Cindralock Dominion—

Elder Armand and the other members of the Armand family waited in the luxury VIP lounge.

They had disembarked hours ago, but remained, awaiting the last and most important member of their clan to return victorious.

Ambition flickered in the eyes of many younger Armand scions. Some, however, were uneasy.

Back in Jadeveil, they had lived like royalty—children of an ancient house, enjoying privilege and prestige. But in this foreign land, would that life of superiority endure?

Others whispered excitedly of new opportunities abroad, their imaginations filled with the promise of luxury.

"Mom, how long do we have to wait? I'm exhausted. The jet lag's killing me," a haughty young girl muttered irritably.

Her mother glanced nervously at Elder Armand, who sat silent, eyes closed in thought. Seeing he wasn't angered, she scolded her daughter with a sharp glare.

"Quiet. However tired you are, we wait."

The girl pouted, but said no more.

For the elders knew: tonight would decide the fate of the entire Armand family.

At last, the lounge doors opened.

Several white-uniformed soldiers stepped inside.

Elder Armand's eyes snapped open, filled with anticipation.

He was waiting for the news that would seal his family's future.
