Samsara Tower: Only I Know the Plot!
Chapter 448 - 447: Gathering and Sniping Adam!
On the bustling street, Fenric was walking with Yuhan.
Yuhan looked especially cheerful, her foodie nature fully on display. With a cup of milk tea in one hand and skewers in the other, her eyes still sparkled with curiosity at the endless snacks lining the stalls.
Fenric didn’t stop her. He simply smiled, carrying what she couldn’t, letting her buy whatever she wanted.
After all, this girl stayed slim no matter how much she ate.
To any bystander, the two of them looked no different from a couple in love.
"Vroom!"
A deep roar of an engine suddenly echoed through the street.
A flashy supercar sped into view, drawing the attention of countless pedestrians. At the wheel was a young man with the polished arrogance of a rich second-generation heir.
Even in a world filled with Samsaras, the power of money had not lost its luster. Driving a car like that still turned heads.
Especially among certain women—those who longed to latch onto a wealthy man, marry into riches, and never worry again.
As the car pulled closer, many dolled-up girls along the street flashed eager smiles, hoping to catch his attention.
But the young man barely glanced at them. He had long grown tired of such shallow fawning.
Then he saw Yuhan. His eyes lit up instantly.
Finally... a real prize.
He swung the car to the side and leaned out with a grin.
"Hey, beauty! What’s the point of wasting your time here? How about I take you to Doll Street to pick out a branded bag?"
Yuhan froze, then realized with disgust that the words were aimed at her. Her expression tightened.
Without hesitation, she looped her arm around Fenric’s in open declaration: I’m taken.
But to the rich second-generation, a boyfriend was never an obstacle.
How many couples had he broken apart for sport?
He smirked. "A boyfriend, huh? Doesn’t matter. Why don’t you leave me your number? Let’s be friends."
By now, countless passersby had stopped, whispering and pointing.
Yuhan hated being the center of such attention. Her brows furrowed. "You’re really annoying."
Fenric gently patted her hand and pulled her behind him. His expression remained calm as he stepped toward the sports car.
His eyes carried no anger, only silence.
Truth be told, such a petty clown wasn’t even worth his breath.
He raised his hand.
The rich kid opened his mouth to continue, only to realize—with growing horror—that his body was lifting off the ground, pulled by an unseen force.
Gasps rippled through the crowd.
"A supernatural!"
"That’s insane... he can control people in mid-air!"
"He must be a big shot in Samsara. That guy’s finished!"
Suspended helplessly, the rich heir blustered, "Y-You! Do you know who my uncle is? Let me down right now! If you touch a single hair on me, even as a supernatural, you’ll be in huge trouble!"
Fenric didn’t bother replying. With a flick of thought, he hurled the man into a trash can on the roadside.
If it weren’t for the public setting, the man would already be dead.
As for the car—
"Crack! Click!"
Under Fenric’s invisible grip, the sleek vehicle twisted and crumpled into a heap of warped metal.
The crowd stared in stunned silence.
Only Yuhan smiled sweetly.
To her, his actions looked exactly like jealousy.
So... I do matter to him~
"Let’s go."
Fenric spoke calmly and walked on. Yuhan quickly followed.
Pedestrians stepped aside instinctively, awe written across their faces.
They had only gone a few steps when Yuhan’s phone rang.
"Who’s calling?" Fenric asked.
"It’s my sister."
She answered quickly. "Hello, sister?"
Vivienne’s voice came through, sharp and direct: "Yuhan, Fenric is with you, right?"
"I’m here," Fenric said, taking the phone.
"Fenric," Vivienne’s tone turned solemn, "Adam has moved."
Fenric’s eyes narrowed. "When?"
"Tonight, most likely. If possible, meet me soon—we can’t just sit back and let Adam succeed."
Understanding the weight of the matter, Fenric replied at once, "I’ll come right away."
Vivienne gave a short laugh. "Sorry to ruin your date. Hand the phone back to Yuhan—I’d better explain, so she doesn’t pout."
Fenric returned the phone. Yuhan listened quietly, her face showing a flicker of disappointment.
But she wasn’t a spoiled girl. She knew the situation came first.
After the call, she turned to Fenric. "My sister’s in K City. Let’s go meet her quickly."
"Hold on to me."
Without hesitation, Fenric scooped her into his arms.
Yuhan’s cheeks flushed as she clung to his waist, heart fluttering between shyness and sweetness.
Then, before the wide eyes of countless onlookers, Fenric soared into the sky with her.
Anti-gravity flight—impossible for most, effortless for him.
With his current attributes, he could easily break the sound barrier. But with Yuhan in his arms, he kept the speed moderate.
The air resistance alone would have torn her apart otherwise.
