Chapter 443 - 442: Against the Heavens! Shura Rises to Third in the World

Global Master Rankings:

Fourth Place – Shura

Comprehensive Strength: S-rank!

The bright red "S" blazed across the board. The Samsaras watching the top 100 list stood frozen, disbelief written across their faces.

Everyone knew Shura had gained over 100,000 points this run. They had expected his strength to rise again—but none imagined he would leap straight into S-rank.

"To go from an unknown pawn to S-rank in just one month... This isn’t a miracle. It’s beyond miracles!"

"Holy sh*t, it’s really S-rank!"

"Damn! Just clearing the sixteenth floor, and already S-rank?"

"This is unprecedented! I doubt anyone will ever match it again!"

"One month ago, Adam alone was S-rank. Now there are four on the list."

"Four? Ha! That Uvall is a cheater. The Samsara Space has already marked him. He won’t last. In my eyes, there are only three true S-ranks—Adam, Aurora, and Shura!"

"God Shura has officially surpassed Sventovet! That man once razed a military district in the Ezael Country with his bare hands and walked away unscathed. Who knows how terrifying he is now?"

"Hmph, at this level, which of them isn’t a monster?"

"Honestly, S-ranks might as well be called gods. They can’t create worlds, but their destructive power easily rivals the deities within dungeons."

"I’ve been following Shura since his very first Super God evaluation. Watching his rise firsthand... it’s overwhelming."

The chatter beneath the Global Rankings board was endless.

News spread quickly, reaching the ears of many top powerhouses. Each one was shocked at the meteoric rise of the new S-rank "Shura."

Among them, none was more unsettled than Adam.

This sudden threat forced him to rethink his next moves. Shura’s rapid ascent left him deeply uneasy.

—--

Fenric, however, remained in his private warehouse, calmly weighing his next decision.

He considered the Trident. Should he alter its form? Perhaps, like Thor’s hammer, it could be reshaped into a ring via the Smart Furnace for easy carrying.

Yet he hesitated. Beyond its practical use in controlling the seas, the Trident carried immense symbolic weight. If the next dungeon involved the myth of Poseidon, holding the true Trident might prove invaluable.

"I’m being stubborn... As long as I can command the seas, I am the Sea God. I don’t need a trident to prove it."

Fenric chuckled to himself.

Still, he tossed the Trident into the Smart Furnace, choosing to reforge it into a new form.

"Please enter the desired transformation."

Hint: You may draw manually or input the image of a specified item.

On the control panel, a line of text appeared, accompanied by an input box and a drawing box beneath it.

Fenric didn’t overthink it and simply typed the word "ring" into the input box.

In an instant, the control panel projected dozens of ring designs, each waiting for him to choose.

He picked a relatively plain and understated style, then clicked "Confirm."

Another line immediately popped up:

"Smelting, please wait..."

About ten minutes later, the furnace’s flames died down, and its lid automatically lifted.

From within, a small ring rose into the air, glowing faintly with a sea-blue light.

Fenric reached out and took it. As soon as he did, the system prompt appeared:

"Special Item: Sea God’s Ring!

Transformed from Poseidon’s Trident. Retains all powers of the Trident, capable of commanding the seas."

A satisfied smile curved Fenric’s lips. He slid the Sea God’s Ring onto the middle finger of his left hand.

Now, his left hand bore two treasures:

—On his ring finger, Thor’s Ring.

—On his middle finger, the Sea God’s Ring.

Beneath the Global Master Rankings.

The crowd of Samsaras, who had gathered to witness the commotion, were just about ready to disperse.

Suddenly, someone shouted:

"Holy sh*t—look! Shura’s ranking changed again!"

The onlookers froze, then snapped their heads toward the leaderboard.

Sure enough, Shura’s name had shifted.

He had surpassed Aurora Morwyn and risen to third place.

Now, only Adam stood above him.

The sight sent another shockwave through the Samsaras.

After all, ever since Aurora Morwyn’s rise, she had been hailed as the number one master of Jadeveil Nation, the national goddess, and the idol of millions.

And tonight—she had been surpassed.

Some of her die-hard fans could barely accept the truth.

"What—what’s going on?! The Shura boss is too insane!"

"The title of Jadeveil’s number one has changed hands! I can’t even process this!"

"Yeah! I thought Boss Aurora would hold that throne for years. Who knew Shura would crush it so quickly?"

"Boss Shura is terrifying!"

"Now the only question is—when will Shura surpass Adam and take the world’s top spot?"

"Uvall: Hah! You think it’s that easy to pass Adam and become number one? Don’t underestimate me, the reigning number 1!!"

"Uvall? Please. He’s a wanted criminal in Samsara Space. He won’t last long."

"This is unacceptable! My goddess Aurora, beaten just like that?"

"Face it—the Shura boss is the real deal. Even our nation’s high-level decision-makers must be getting restless right now."

"True! A master of this caliber... every move he makes could change the entire world!"

—--

And indeed, the Samsaras were right.

When word spread that Shura had reached S-rank and overtaken Aurora Morwyn, countless major figures grew unsettled.

Cindralock Dominion.

In a spacious, opulent chamber, Adam sat cross-legged in meditation, refining his soul.

"Buzz—"

The phone beside him suddenly vibrated, breaking his concentration.

Frowning, Adam picked it up. It was a message from one of his subordinates.

After reading it, his expression shifted instantly. He rose to his feet in shock.

"Shura... an unbelievable bastard."

Cold light flickered in Adam’s eyes.

"If I let this continue, he’ll surpass me sooner or later. I can’t allow that."

With that thought, Adam gripped his phone and dialed a number.
