Samsara Tower: Only I Know the Plot!
Chapter 441 - 440: Your Uncle is Still Your Uncle!
"Be careful. Once they’re separated, the energy shock will be immense," Victor warned.
Fenric nodded, preparing to unleash his Armament Haki, when suddenly a thunderous sonic boom split the sky.
Boom—!
Everyone looked up. From the distant horizon, a figure in a red cloak streaked across the sky like a blazing comet.
"It’s Clark! Get ready for battle!"
Batman’s voice rang out sharply as he dropped into a combat stance.
The others followed suit, tension rising in the air.
But Fenric, with his extraordinary eyesight, caught the details that others missed. Superman’s expression no longer bore that twisted, monstrous look.
"Relax, Bruce," Fenric said calmly. "Clark looks like he’s come back to his senses—thanks to me."
A moment later, Superman descended, landing hard.
Boom!
The ground cracked open beneath him, leaving a small crater. Yet Superman emerged unscathed, standing tall.
Fenric couldn’t help but feel a flicker of envy. He had learned to fly with mind power, but traveling at supersonic speed like Superman was still far beyond him.
As the dust settled, it was clear—Superman’s face was no longer distorted by madness. His sharp features were steady, his eyes once again human.
"Clark?" Bruce asked cautiously.
"It’s me." Superman nodded, his voice steady but tinged with regret. "I’m sorry for the trouble I caused."
"Oh man, the real Superman!" Flash blurted out, practically vibrating with excitement like a fan meeting his idol.
"Clark, it’s a relief to have you back," Batman said with a rare sigh.
"Yes." Fenric grinned. "Bruce wanted me to kill you. But since you’re yourself again, this weapon isn’t necessary."
With that, he tossed the glowing fluorite to Batman.
Bruce’s expression darkened instantly, as if he had swallowed something foul.
Damn it! When did I ever say to kill Superman?
He quickly realized he had been set up—by Fenric.
Fortunately, Superman wasn’t the type to dwell on such things. His gaze shifted toward Fenric instead. "And this is?"
"Ronan Anderson," Bruce answered, seizing the chance to shift the blame. "A dangerous man."
Fenric shrugged, unconcerned, and extended a hand. "Hello, Superman."
Superman clasped it firmly, his grip steady and deliberate. "It’s good to meet you, Ronan. Your punch... left quite an impression."
He clearly remembered being under Steppenwolf’s control, and he remembered Fenric striking him with a blow powerful enough to shake the earth itself.
Fenric chuckled. "Clark, you came just in time. Victor needs your help."
Superman raised an eyebrow, confused. The others exchanged silent looks, exasperated.
"What can I do?" Superman asked.
Victor answered gravely, "Help me separate the Mother Boxes. If they fully merge, the Earth will be destroyed."
Superman glanced at Fenric, then nodded without hesitation. Together, he and Victor braced against the fused cubes, straining to pull them apart.
"Everyone, fall back!" Fenric shouted.
The team quickly retreated, leaving Superman and Victor alone to wrestle with the volatile power.
As the two forces of will and strength tore at the Mother Boxes, a violent eruption burst forth.
BOOM—!
The unleashed energy rippled outward, detonating in a massive shockwave that hurled both Superman and Victor through the air.
Ding—!
In that instant, a crisp chime rang in Fenric’s mind:
"Congratulations, you have completed the hidden mission: The Plan to Stop Steppenwolf.
Rewards will be distributed at the end of the dungeon."
Relief washed over him. At the same time, the tremors rocking the battlefield finally subsided. Calm returned, broken only by the team’s exhausted smiles of triumph.
—--
The next day, Fenric returned to the ocean to aid Arthur in consolidating power for Atlantis.
With Arthur’s ability to command sea life and Fenric’s overwhelming strength, they subdued the savage Trench tribes. The Kingdom of Atlantis ascended to new heights, its might unquestioned.
Now hailed as the new "Sea God," Fenric’s dominion stretched across the oceans—making him arguably the most powerful being on Earth.
Yet he remained unsatisfied.
With time to spare, Fenric turned his gaze back to Gotham. Slipping into Arkham Asylum under cover of night, he opened the cells of carefully chosen inmates—Harley Quinn, Bane, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, and others.
These were to be his subordinates.
As for those too ambitious or uncontrollable, like the Joker and the Penguin, Fenric left them behind. He had no interest in wild dogs.
A single show of force was all it took to bend his new recruits to his will.
Poison Ivy, in particular, was shaken when she discovered her toxins had no effect on him. Instead of hatred, she found herself intrigued—curious about this man who stood beyond her reach.
With his new entourage, Fenric launched a brutal campaign against the samsara players’ forces that had sprung up across the city.
His strategy was straightforward: kill the leader, install his own.
Since he was the only Samsara representative from Jadeveil Nation this round, and all other samsaras were foreigners, Fenric had no qualms about crushing them mercilessly.
Before long, whispers spread.
"Underground Emperor."
That was the name people gave him—the sovereign of the underworld, ruler of all dark powers.
But one night, the "Underground Emperor" vanished without a trace.
—---
Ding—!
In the vast space of the Samsara Tower, the familiar broadcast voice echoed:
"Congratulations! Samsara Player ’Shura.’ In the dungeon world Justice League, you exceeded mission expectations and achieved the highest evaluation: SS!"
The announcement rippled through the Samsara community.
By now, Shura’s constant feats no longer shocked them. Yet this time, there was something different.
SS was incredible, but it wasn’t SSS—the "Super God" rating. The difference of a single letter meant an unfathomable gulf.
Just as players began to speculate, the broadcast flared again:
"Congratulations! Samsara ’Shura.’ In the dungeon world Justice League, you brilliantly discovered and completed hidden missions. Additional reward: 100,000 Samsara points!"
The system’s voice boomed across the void, leaving countless Samsaras frozen in disbelief.
