Chapter 227: Chapter 114: A Plan to Save the World? Destroying a Planet with a Single Strike! Part 1

The cold light inside the command center reflected off Alex’s profile, his features as cold and sharp as rock. He gazed out the window into the pitch-black night and spoke indifferently.

"Are you saying that as long as the wormhole is destroyed and no new Kaijus arrive on this planet, humanity can survive?"

Tendo Choi abruptly snapped back to his senses. He pushed up the glasses that had slid down to the tip of his nose, his eyes filled with unconcealable shock.

Although the young man before him claimed not to be a god, ever since he entered the command center, the alarms on the LCD screens had not stopped blaring.

[Warning, warning. Unknown-level biological entity detected. Threat level: Infinitely high...]

[Countermeasures: None...]

He had secretly compared the data. Even the newly emerged Category V Kaiju had an energy level that was not even one-ten-thousandth of the man before him.

Thinking of the eternally frozen crystallized nuclear explosion in the base, Tendo Choi bowed his waist even lower, his tone becoming increasingly respectful.

"Yes. Although the Kaijus are constantly evolving, humanity has not been standing still these past few years. The only reason we cannot defeat them is that their numbers are simply too vast..."

"As long as the wormhole can be destroyed, we are confident that we can eradicate all the Kaijus within ten years!"

Alex slowly turned around, his gaze sweeping across the main screen.

It clearly displayed the image of the wormhole at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. A deep blue energy vortex swirled continuously, and the energy reading curve, resembling a steep mountain peak, was still soaring.

He could clearly sense that the core of this world was being eroded and distorted by the chaotic power transmitting from the other end of the wormhole, like an apple being consumed by mold.

"Tell me the coordinates! And what exactly is on the other side of that wormhole."

Alex’s words were concise and to the point, with no unnecessary emotion in his black eyes.

To him, the Pacific Rim world was merely a transit station. His target was always the Superman of the DC Universe; he had no time to waste here.

"Understood!"

Tendo Choi immediately pulled up the data.

"The exact coordinates are at 63.5 degrees North latitude and 102 degrees East longitude in the Pacific Ocean. According to the data we have gathered from our battles with the Kaijus over the years, their masters should be an alien race called the Precursors."

The holographic image on the LCD screen projected a grotesque alien race with a twisted form, appearing to be a combination of a chitinous exoskeleton and biological tissue.

"They come from a spatial dimension, and the exact location of their planet is unknown. According to my deductions, these aliens are using Earth as a pasture. They continuously deploy Kaijus to alter the environment, preparing to completely colonize Earth!"

He paused, a glimmer of hope igniting in his eyes as he stared intently at Alex.

"The ultimate goal of all our previous battle plans was to destroy that wormhole and cut off their passage to Earth! But that requires a massive amount of energy to detonate from within... or to completely destroy their source!"

Tendo Choi’s eyes were filled with anticipation as he looked at Alex. The being before him was a god who could freeze even a nuclear explosion!

Could he cross that wormhole, which even Jaegers found difficult to enter, cut it off, and perhaps even put an end to the enemy’s civilization?

A flash of understanding crossed Alex’s eyes.

Only by destroying the source of the Kaijus could he completely stop the erosion of the world’s core and subsequently obtain the origin Crystal condensed from the world’s will.

For him, the most efficient and thorough method was to completely erase that civilization known as the Precursors from the universe.

"Alright, I understand."

Alex’s voice lacked any fluctuation, as if he were stating a trivial matter.

"Since they were the ones to initiate the invasion, there is no need for their civilization to exist anymore."

Alex’s voice was completely emotionless, as if stating an established fact.

Tendo Choi and all the staff who heard this instantly held their breath.

"You... you are going to destroy their home planet?"

Although it was unbelievable, having witnessed Alex’s power to freeze a nuclear explosion and instantly kill the Kaijus, an unprecedented hope ignited in their hearts.

Perhaps this man could truly achieve the goal that all of humanity on the planet could not.

Alex nodded. He then turned and walked toward the terrace without saying another word.
