Chapter 208: Chapter 104: Sea Dragon? No, You Are Kanon! (Part 2)

His true identity was exactly the twin brother of the current Sanctuary Pope and Gemini Gold Saint, Saga—Kanon.

Among the twelve Gold Saints, Gemini was the most unique. Every generation had twins jointly holding the position, a phenomenon also known as Gemini companion stars.

Hiding his true face beneath the Sea Dragon Scale, he possessed the exact same face and strength as Saga.

During his training period in the Sanctuary, he had seen through the destiny of the Saints and had repeatedly tried to persuade Saga.

"If you and I join forces as brothers, it will be enough to protect the human world. Athena and the gods treat humans as chess pieces, making us slaughter each other in endless cycles. To end all this, we must make a change!"

However, at that time, Saga had not yet awakened his Black Saga personality.

Shocked by the evil in his brother’s heart, Saga finally hardened his resolve and imprisoned him in the rock prison of Cape Sounion.

For countless days and nights, whenever the tide rose, the rock prison would be completely submerged by seawater, leaving Kanon struggling on the brink of death.

Until one day, by chance, he discovered Poseidon’s trident and Athena’s urn, which sealed the Sea God’s divine soul.

Kanon was brought to the city of Atlantis by the power of the trident and became the head of the seven Sea Generals, the Sea Dragon Mariner.

Subsequently, following the guidance of the Sea God’s divine soul, he found Julian Solo.

And on that night, using the Phantom Demon Emperor Fist, he induced the hatred toward humanity hidden within Julian Solo’s subconscious and extended this hatred to Poseidon.

In truth, Kanon was the real mastermind behind the scenes pushing for the great war between the Saints and the Mariners.

Having his identity exposed by Alex, Kanon could no longer hold back.

Raising his hands above his head, his powerful Cosmo exploded like a nebula. Terrifying energy capable of pulverizing the galaxy converged in his palms.

"Utter nonsense! I am the Sea Dragon Mariner, my Emperor’s most loyal guard!"

"Take this attack! Galaxian Explosion!"

Hundreds of massive energy clusters wrapped in stardust tore through space, smashing toward Alex like a meteor shower.

Alex gave a cold snort. Having awakened the Eighth Sense, he had long since stepped into the domain of the gods. Whether in strength or realm, he held a crushing advantage over Kanon.

He didn’t even use an ultimate technique. Rings of white ice simply spread outward from beneath his feet. With each expansion, the flow of surrounding atoms slowed down by a fraction.

Kanon’s energy clusters gradually decelerated in mid-flight, their surfaces rapidly frosting over, eventually solidifying in mid-air and explosively shattering.

The powerful energy dissipated into nothingness within the Absolute Zero, failing to stir up even a single ripple.

F-frozen and shattered?

Shura and Aphrodite, who had just personally experienced the might of this attack, had their eyes bulging so wide they nearly popped out.

To think he could actually freeze and shatter even the Galaxian Explosion?

"Compared to your brother, you fall far short!"

Alex sneered, extending a single finger. Purple electrical arcs danced at his fingertip like venomous snakes.

Crack!

A sudden clap of thunder resounded!

The purple lightning shot out like divine punishment, its speed so fast that Kanon had absolutely no time to dodge.

The lightning pierced through the Sea Dragon Scale.

The Scales were armors forged from deep-sea flashing copper. Although their strength surpassed Gold Cloths, due to their singular crafting process, their resistance to elemental attacks was relatively weak. In particular, damage caused by lightning and ice attributes to the Scales was practically true damage.

Pfft!

The electrical current pierced straight through Kanon’s chest. Like a kite with a broken string, he flew backward and smashed heavily against the Main Pillar.

Electrical arcs ran wildly across his dark golden Scale. He slid down the pillar wall to the ground, his body twitching unconsciously as bloody froth spilled from the corner of his mouth...

The scene instantly fell into a dead silence.

All the Mariners stared with wide eyes: O-one-shotted? The Sea Dragon General, the head of the seven Sea Generals, couldn’t even withstand a single strike from this person?
