Chapter 185: Chapter 93: Pillars of the Seven Seas, Requesting Aid from the Sanctuary! (Part 1)

When Saori’s body was completely drawn into the pillar, the four dragon head statues suddenly spewed out massive amounts of seawater, pouring down along the pillar’s inner walls.

She was bound in the center of the crystal. The Sea God’s divine power tightened around her limbs like invisible shackles. She could only watch helplessly as the seawater slowly rose past her ankles and calves...

A golden divine light lit up around Saori Kido, attempting to block the incoming seawater, but it could only delay it for a moment. In the face of the vast divine power of the ocean, that little bit of light was like a candle in the wind.

Having done all this, Julian Solo turned around with the trident in hand and walked toward the Sea God’s throne.

He slowly sat down, his white cape draped over the cold white jade steps, and his deep voice echoed throughout all of Atlantis.

"Sea Generals, stop the Saints from destroying the Pillars of the Seven Seas!"

In the empty, silent divine city, seven figures emerged from the shadows of the palace. Clad in dark golden Scales, they knelt on one knee and replied in unison.

"We shall obey the Sea God’s decree!"

The damp air carried a salty, fishy scent as Seiya suddenly woke up from his unconsciousness. It was as if they had heard Saori Kido’s cry.

Shiryu, Hyoga, Shun, and Ikki also struggled to their feet one after another, their Bronze Cloths emitting a faint blueish glow in the dark seabed.

They found themselves in a massive coral forest. The twisted branches resembled a cage of white bones. In the seawater above them, a giant sperm whale swam slowly past, its shadow enveloping the entire forest as it let out a dull, resonant call.

Directly in front of them stood an ancient-style city. The sculptures on the ruined walls were vaguely visible, telling tales of the brilliant civilization that once existed here.

The immense divine power permeating the city hit them like a tidal wave, making their chests feel tight and suffocated.

The expressions of Seiya and the others were grave. Seiya spoke first, his voice carrying the hoarseness of just having woken up.

"Where are we!"

After a brief moment of confusion, the Ocean Crown, the giant whirlpool, and Saori Kido’s figure flashed through his mind.

Seiya’s pupils suddenly contracted. He looked around; the luster of the Pegasus Cloth was significantly dimmed due to the suppression of the Sea God’s divine power.

"Where is Miss Saori?"

"Over there!"

Shun suddenly pointed into the distance. His Nebula Chain, acting like a living creature, pointed straight toward the center of the temple.

There, a giant pillar that pierced through the sky and the sea broke through the darkness. Runes like liquid gold flowed on the surface of the pillar, and a slender figure could vaguely be seen bound within it.

"I can feel Miss Saori’s Cosmo."

"Saints of Athena..." A low, melodious voice suddenly tore through the silence, like a sigh from the deep sea.

A mermaid swam out from behind the coral bushes. Her upper half was a beautiful young girl, while her lower half was covered by a silver-blue fish tail.

Before her voice even faded, her form suddenly changed. Her fish tail transformed into legs, and a crimson Scale surfaced on her body.

"I am a Mariner under the Sea God Poseidon, Mermaid Thetis!"

She looked up at the five of them, her gaze carrying a hint of scrutiny.

Seiya took a step forward, his tone urgent.

"Where is Miss Saori? What are you Mariners trying to do to her?"

Even though Saori Kido had already revealed her identity as Athena, they were still accustomed to calling her Miss Saori in private.

Thetis covered her mouth and chuckled softly, causing the surrounding seawater to ripple slightly.

"Your Goddess and our Emperor made a bet. If you fail to rescue her before the seawater completely fills the Main Pillar and drowns Athena’s reincarnation, the Sea God will send down divine punishment and return all the continents to the sea."

She turned and pointed to the other seven massive pillars in the city of Atlantis.

"Do you see those seven pillars? They are the Mammoth Pillars representing the seven oceans. Only by completely destroying them will you have a chance to shatter the Main Pillar and save Athena."

Seiya clenched his fists, his knuckles turning white.

"We fought our way through the Twelve Zodiac Temples! What difficulty could seven mere pillars pose! Shiryu, Hyoga, let’s go!"

"Ignorant!"
