Even the one in the center, a Bloodsucking Vine with a body length of over eight hundred meters, was uprooted when the Insect Swarm charged to its root system.

Meanwhile, the price the Insect Swarm paid was minuscule. Only a dozen or so Rapid Insects were pierced and strangled by some vines during the charge. The rest barely suffered any injuries at all.

The most heavily injured was the cockroach whose body had been impaled. Even with the cockroach’s massive body, a one-meter-diameter wound in the center of its torso was fatal. After all the enemies were dealt with, this severely wounded cockroach immediately burrowed underground.

The surrounding soil wrapped around it. The metallic substances and nutrients in the soil were absorbed by it at an astonishing speed, and the wound piercing through its body surprisingly began to heal at a visible rate.

This was the terrifying Life Force and superb recovery ability of the cockroaches! Due to the cockroaches’ traits, as long as they didn’t die on the spot, they only needed to burrow underground to quickly absorb substances from the soil and heal at an extreme speed. Soon, they would be fully recovered. And this was exactly why they were called cockroaches.

After the Insect Swarm flattened the Bloodsucking Vines, a squad of Worker Insects soon came forward. A portion of them transported the dismembered parts of the Bloodsucking Vines back to the Insect Nest. Another portion, however, began to search and excavate on the spot.

Dozens of Worker Insects, aided by units like Escape Armor Scorpions that burrowed underground to explore, quickly discovered the secret within.

Absorbing Profound Iron could Enhance their defense. Absorbing Purple Poison Ore could increase the toxicity of their acid. Naturally, absorbing Red Flame Crystal Ore would grant them Flame attributes.

This was what made the endlessly optimized main units of the Insect Swarm much stronger compared to the genes of other Demon Fiends.
