Chapter 125 First Horde (Part 4)
“What’s the situation?” Klank asked Kaizen, glaring at the approaching Jotun of Death.
“It seems that the woman who summoned that monster is a user of necromancy. She summoned that creature now and another puppet a few minutes ago. Not to mention that the zombies ignore her.”
“Necromancy? Shit, this magic is very rare, so I’m sure it will be a problem. Do you think if we take care of it, the giant and the zombies will disappear or something?”
Kaizen jumped back, dodging one of Jotun de Morte’s punches and said:
“I’m not sure! We’ll have to test to see if that happens or not!”
“Right! Go behind and I’ll create a gap for you to get through that thing! After that, I’ll be able to distract you for at least a minute! This will be the time you have to kill that ugly woman, all right?!”
“I’ll go on your signal!” Kaizen stated, backing away with more speed than before to let Klank please the creature.
As the fight was now even in numbers, Psyker’s idea of running away had already completely disappeared from his mind.
Shadowed by the silhouette of the Jotun of Death, sweat of nervousness dripped like water down Klank’s forehead. He had no idea what level this creature was, but the appearance of it was intimidating.
‘I can do this! I have to do this!’ thought Klank, trying to be positive.
He began to adjust his breathing and coordinate the air going in and out of his lungs. This was a great way he had found to stay focused, to eliminate useless thoughts from his mind. Klank closed his eyes to become even more focused, and when he opened them again after three seconds, his pupils were vertical and green. In addition, scales suddenly appeared all over his arm, the fingertips of his hand were coated with a semi-translucent green aura shaped like claws, and a crocodile tail appeared just above his buttocks.
Shocked, Kaizen immediately tried to use the <Analyzer Eye> to check what this boy’s statuses were.

Kaizen was very astonished. He hadn’t expected Klank to be someone so strong that he couldn’t even see his stats.
The Jotun of Death was a creature with no consciousness and no life, so he wasn’t the least bit intimidated by Klank’s transformation and punched in the direction of where the boy. At that moment Kaizen almost closed his eyes, because he imagined that the strength of this monster was tremendous and that it would throw Klank away, but he kept his eyes open to watch this and learn in case it happened.
The Jotun of Death’s punch did indeed hit Klank, but it didn’t hurl him away. Klank stopped the huge creature’s attack with both hands and continued to hold him.𝒐𝓋𝐥xt.𝗇𝓔t
This guaranteed the seconds Kaizen used to get through the huge monster and finally be alone again with the Necromantic Witch. She was without her right arm and with practically only 1/4 of the life she had at the beginning. That amount of HP was very dangerous for someone with so few defense attributes who could take critical damage easily.
The Necromantic Witch, seeing that she had no way to escape anymore and that she was no match for Psyker in a melee fight, began to concentrate to perform one more invocation.
“You will not do this!” Kaizen shouted and with a quick and precise movement, he brandished his sword and attacked the Necromantic Witch with a sequence of four blows, all diagonally.
[Critical damage!]
[Critical damage!]
[Critical damage!]
[Critical damage!]
Kaizen’s blows were extremely fast, precise and strong, which made the Necromantic Witch unable to even react. Moreover, she knew that none of her spells, apart from her invocations, would be enough to save her. Before she could take any action, her head was separated from her body with the fifth and final blow.
[You killed Nebula, The Necromantic Witch, and gained +7,000 XP].
[You gained +100 Fame.]

[You won ‘Magic Scroll’ (1x).]
[You won ‘Grimoire of Curses’ (1x).]
[You won ‘Golden Ring’ (1x).]
With the death of the Necromantic Witch, all the creations, which she summoned, disappeared in seconds, including the Jotun of Death, which was striking Klank rampant. Her death left Kaizen with a satisfied smile on his lips.
“I really don’t know how you managed to hold off that giant, but congratulations. You played very well.” Kaizen said to Klank, who was still catching his breath and slumped on his butt on the ground, “Let me help you now too.” He reached out to the green-haired boy, whose scales, claw, and also tail were already gone.
“Ah, man! That was the riskiest thing I’ve done in weeks. Even more so than going on that raid in the Howling Draughts.” Klank exasperated, practically exhausted.
“Too bad we’re not in a group. I wouldn’t have thought it bad that you got half the experience, because I was about to run from that fight.” said Kaizen
“Klank? Are you okay? I heard some rumbling coming from this block.” A female voice from above asked.
When Kaizen looked up, he saw that illuminated by the sun, which was dawning high in the sky, the intensely red and bright hair of the Bleeding Lily swayed majestically with the blowing of the wind. She was wearing her characteristic completely scarlet battle armor, except for a few golden details.
Before Klank could answer her, she jumped into the street, just as he did a few minutes ago. She looked curiously at Kaizen and inquired:
“Is he the one who left you in that state, Klank?”
