[End Of Information]

I noticed a few things about it, including the fact that I had advanced five extra Levels. my lips naturally curled up in a grin of satisfaction.

Even though I had grown plenty strong, just one of these monsters was enough to give me five levels. I seriously anticipated what was waiting for me beyond the gate that lie beyond. Still, I knew better than to be impatient.

‘Huu, I feel much better!’

The Level Up had increased my Health Cap and my regeneration caused the aching body I had to be refreshed. Of course, I still felt the emotional strain of the battle, and my stamina hadn’t fully recovered, but this was better than nothing.

It was evening, the time was most likely approaching 5:00 PM, and that meant it wouldn’t be long until the day was over. I had already decided to exterminate the nest today, and I wasn’t going back on it.

However, after my fight with the Chief, it was painfully obvious that I was still weaker than my opponents. I was fortunate that my opponent was only one this time, and it underestimated me.

There was no guarantee that this would be the same case when I ventured into the heart of the monsters.

I no longer had the cheat Skill of <Parlor Tricks> on my side, so there was really no shot for a miracle. If I didn’t go in properly, I would lose!

Firstly, I had to check out the reward the System promised me after I defeated the Hobgoblin Chief. This would be the first time it gave me something special in exchange for killing a Demon, and there was even an additional reward for doing it alone.

I was curious… and excited!

[Special Reward Will Now Be Given]

[Additional Reward Will Now Be Given]

I waited patiently as these two icons popped, similar to how the system often told me [You Have Leveled Up].

[See More Information]

I was already amazed enough that I had already gotten the <Title> Effect so soon, but to think I had five already!

“I see… usually, <Titles> are unlocked after the beginning phase. The achievements only start counting once the second phase begins and they get transformed into <Titles>… But…”

Receiving the <Title> Effect at such an early stage meant that all my achievements since the start of the beginning phase became recorded. It was amazing!

<Titles>, unlike <Skills>, had no allowed Slots. So, in a sense, one could obtain as many <Titles> as they could—as long as the condition for obtaining them was fulfilled.

In addition, <Titles> all had passive effects which didn’t cost Mana or wear down the user. Plus, they had no Duration Limit or Cooldown. Such a blessing, being gifted to me at such an early stage… and in form of five distinct kinds—how could I not be moved?

I had to see what these <Titles> were about!

Tapping on the [See More Information] panel beneath the window, I saw a new set of information displayed before me.

[System Information]

<Titles>

[Hell Kobold Slayer]

Accomplished by exterminating a horde of Hell Kobolds. It is the advanced derivative of the Title [Hell Kobold Killer].

~Title Effect: Deals 10 Percent Extra Damage on Fanged Demons. Deals 30 Percent Extra Damage on Hell Kobolds and their kin.

Title 2: [Hobgoblin Slayer]

Accomplished by exterminating a horde of Hobgoblins. It is the advanced derivative of the Title [Hobgiblin Killer].

~Title Effect: Deals 10 Percent Extra Damage on Green-Skinned Demons. Deals 30 Percent Extra Damage on Hobgoblins and their kin.

Title 3: [Champion]

Accomplished by exterminating a Demon Boss and closing a Gate.

~Title Effect: Deals 10 Percent Extra Damage on Demon Bosses. Inflicts the <Fear> Status Effect On Demon subordinates when facing the Boss.

Title 4: [Slaughterer]

Accomplished by exterminating a great deal of Demons at once.

~Title Effect: 30 Percent chance of inflicting <Critical Damage> on Demons if they are in a group.

Title 5: [Merciless]

Accomplished by refusing to rescue Gifteds who are in danger of extermination by Demons.

~Title Effect: A ‘Perfect’ state of mind will always be present. No matter how horrifying a sight is or heart-wrenching it is, the mind will not waver.

[End Of Information]

They were all amazing Titles, useful in their own way. The last <Title> was a little implicating, though. It basically spoke of how I wasn’t a ‘kind’ person. If anyone saw this on me, I would gather some opinions I didn’t want—especially if I was acting as the Masked Hero. That would suck big time!

‘I don’t have to worry about that currently, though…’ I reasoned while admiring the usefulness of the Title.

A solid mind and unflinching will were ideal for the kind of experiences that lay ahead of me.

Titles could be turned off if one wanted, but there was no way I would choose that. Well, not at the moment! All of these were handy, well, maybe not right now, but they would certainly be in the long run.

‘Whew! I have good ‘Special Rewards’, don’t I? What of my Additional Rewards?’
