Rise of The Anti God

Chapter 151 Entering The Xeton Ethereal Foundation

As Damien was walking alone towards the Xeton Ethereal Foundation, people's heads turned as soon as they noticed the azure armband on his arm, signifying his status as an Elite disciple in the Xeton Ethereal Foundation.

Looking at his young features, some wondered from which prestigious family's young master he was while some recognized him as the monstrous genius with the Lightning seed.

They all knew that Elite disciples' status was so high that even regional lords would bow before them. Because they knew in the future, these Elite disciples would graduate into world-shaking powerhouses, and it would be in their best interests to form connections with them as early as possible instead of playing the waiting game.

"You do realize that probably the god residing in this empire already knows about you...your Origin seed, to be exact?" Luna's voice sounded in his mind.

"Yes, I know because my Origin seed is basically something which is divine. But you said that it would be alright for me to come here as my Origin seed serves no purpose to the god here. That as long as my intentions are not known, I am safe and that it is the best way to meet this god. Of course, only if he gets curious about me and my Origin seed. Still, are you sure he will want to meet me? We don't even know anything about this god or his motives." Damien asked in a thoughtful tone.

He knew that Luna purposefully revealed his Origin seed's aura so that the god residing in the Xeton Empire could sense it. It was something that only gods could detect while mortals definitely cannot.

He was at first hesitant and doubtful about her plan, but when she convinced him there was no other way, he also felt the same. Because, if the god is not at all interested in him in some way, he was sure he would never meet him.

He didn't want to be in the dark by not having the chance to meet with the god and know more about what he was facing, and Luna had told him that all his divine power should be non-existent.

"Ha, gods aren't too careful with mortals. If they want something done with them, they won't go about convoluted ways unless there are some other circumstances. At least I can confidently say that the god in this empire doesn't have any malicious intentions against you, seeing that you are still walking around calmly, nor do I see any benefit for him by harming you. He will definitely be curious about you, I am sure." Luna said casually.

"Hey, I trusted your words by coming to this empire. I hope things are as you say." Damien said with knitted brows.

Luna said smugly, "Chillax. This goddess has never been wrong before. Besides, it's not like you have a choice. Two years is a very short time for you, and you know that if you played it safe, you could forget about saving Lily from her fate. If you don't risk anything, then you risk everything. I am sure you know that best."

Damien knew that time was short in his hands, and he was going on a limb by coming here.

After a brief moment of silence, she asked in a low voice, "By the way, in your past life, what did you do to make the whole world hate you or try to kill you?"

Damien's brows raised, "Oh? You always peep or sneak on to my conversations, eh? Aren't you a naughty little goddess? Why the sudden interest about such mundane matters of a mortal?"

Luna scoffed, "Hmph, as if. I just wanted to know how exactly the god manipulated you, and maybe I can even get a clue."

"I was manipulated into killing almost everyone in the world," Damien said without much fluctuation in his tone.

Luna said in a confused tone, "That's strange. What benefit would he get from doing that? Besides, the power one would need to do things like that is not something mortals can achieve. Unless the god who manipulated you transferred some of their powers, but then they would only be weakening themselves. Weird..."

Damien said in a dour tone, "That's what I plan to ask right before I kill that god."

Lost in his thoughts as he walked, he soon enough reached the gates of the Xeton Ethereal Foundation.

However, the gates were none other than a revolving azure ethereal formation. He speculated that as long as one has their student token with them, they can enter.

There weren't even any guards, and Damien speculated that these ethereal formations could also offensively work against intruders other than acting as a defensive ethereal formation.

As soon as he entered the formation, a thin strand of ethereal energy passed through his body, and a flat voice sounded out in his mind, "This strand of energy is merely an imprint on your body that grants you passage even without your disciple token and lasts for one year. After that, you will have to use your disciple token again to extend the expiry of the imprint."

The voice disappeared, and Damien guessed that it must have been some kind of recorded voice that informs students about their gate pass basically.

He also found that he could remove the imprint if he wanted to, but obviously, there was no need to.

As he passed through the ethereal formation, a grand and colossal establishment came into his sight. The building was white with tinges of azure on its walls made up of silver stone and a huge dome-like structure in the middle.

Many huge flying mounts were flying around in the sky and saw them descending with disciples riding on top of them. It seemed as if he had entered a fantasy school he had read about in his previous life.

Elegant windows were scattered generously across the walls with decorated borders. Huge trees were surrounding the whole area in which the institute was located and river beds on each side of the whole area.

The whole property on which the institute was located seemed to span dozens of kilometers and was even bigger than the Rising Sun Trading Guild.

He could see hundreds of disciples roaming about. Most of them were looking around wide-eyed with their mouths open, astonished at the building's structure and architecture. He instantly knew that these astonished students were the freshers who got admitted into the institute just like him.

He saw that most of them had the bronze armband on their arms while a very few had gold armbands but couldn't even spot one with an azure armband. Only when he thoroughly scanned around the area did he spot one or two.

Damien now understood how extremely low numbered Elite disciples were, but he thought that it was pretty natural. He thought that not every day would be this bustling, as today was the opening ceremony for the newly admitted disciples.

He felt as if he was going back to college again, 'Sigh, I never thought I would be going to school again.'

As Damien walked past the disciples, some let out gasps seeing the azure armband on his arm, and whispered among themselves. They knew how extremely talented Elite disciples were and the illustrious status they had even in the whole continent.

Some smiled meekly at him; some avoided his gaze while most of them had fawning smiles on their faces.

They thought that if they at least connected with an Elite disciple on the first day itself, their life as a disciple would be easier.

Damien saw the main entrance, which was really wide, and entered it along with the other disciples.
