Yu Bochuan was dumbstruck by this revelation.

The Prison Realm was, in fact, a realm to imprison the human race?!

The Prison Realm was the human race’s prison and the Prison Realm Lord acted as their warden. And that was the supreme rule of the Prison Realm!

Just how weak and petty was the human race?

Why was there even a need to specifically dedicate a realm just to imprison them?

And this wasn’t just an individual event where it only happened in the Wei Shen Six Paths World, but all the other existing 3,000 Six Paths Worlds had a Prison Realm that shared the same purpose!

What does the human race have that made Realm Monarchs of the Six Paths Worlds so fearful so as to imprison and continuously monitor the humans? Or perhaps, those that were afraid of the human race weren’t the Realm Monarchs, but someone, something much more greater than that!

“The human race must’ve done something extremely unforgivable, so severe that they were reduced to this state!” Fa Zhaozhen thought and said, “Every 3,000 Six Paths Worlds had a Prison Realm, just how serious was their transgression?”

Zhong Yue kept mum ever since Fa Zhaozhen spoke. While Yu Bochuan was completely clueless about it and Fa Zhaozhen knowing only a small piece of the big puzzle, Zhong Yue knew the whole picture very well in his heart.

The ancient presences didn’t care about the human race, what they wanted to imprison was the Fuxi bloodline.

The humans were the remaining Fuxi that had the power of their Fuxi blood sealed away. With their intrinsic power stripped away, the Fuxi Celestial Race waned day after day.

During the darkest days, the Fuxi Clan made a last ditch effort to rise against the evil forces but it ended with their terrible defeat, and that defeat marked the end of the Earth Order Era. But even so, fear stil lingered deep inside the hearts of their enemies, and that fear was that the great Fuxi Celestial Race would one day resurrect and rise higher than ever.

Thus, they’ve made the Prison Realms and ordered the remaining Fuxi to be contained in it. The ancient presences sealed the power of the Fuxi blood, imprisoned the humans while watching closely as they grew into insects that pose not a single threat anymore.

“You who are imprisoned shall never rise eternally!”

Those words were not spoken to the criminals that were thrown into the Prison Realm, but to the Fuxi and humans imprisoned in here!

“Hahaha…” Zhong Yue suddenly giggled foolishly, he now finally understood why there were so many humans in the Prison Realm, why all of them ended terribly in every life, why they were called the weakest and the most petty race, and why all of the other races could consume them as their food!

All of these were made to be so because someone wanted it to be that way!

Fa Zhaozhen and Yu Bochuan heard him laughing, and they both looked over puzzlingly. Their eyes became filled with sympathy. Although they didn’t know why did the human race was made so, but as one of the humans, Zhong Yue’s request for Fa Zhaozhen to grant him the human race in the Prison Realm was definitely to change the human race’s low social status so that they wouldn’t be made the food and slaves to the other races.

However, now that part of the truth was revealed to them, they all knew it was an impossible goal to achieve!

Zhong Yue’s aura grew terribly dark, his heart was filled with anger and his mouth struggled to remain closed as he was afraid that he would burst out raging in the many questions in his mind.

Why? Why are they still doing this? They’ve won, the Fuxi Celestial Race has been defeated, so why are they still doing this?

Are they afraid of the sealed Fuxi? Our power was stripped from us, what is there left for us to fight with? Are they afraid that the human race will rise once again? Yes, they are afraid, terror has consumed them and they are taking every precaution to ease their fear!

The humans had committed no wrongdoings, and the Fuxi committed no sins!

Not only did the human race not wrong the world, but their contributions were in fact, unparallelled to any other races. The countless Heavenly Monarchs buried in the Ancestral Star was solid evidence to this!

But look at where they stand now, the great celestial race that created the Six Paths Reincarnation was condemned to death, those that survived the blood massacre had their power sealed, imprisoned in the Prison Realms, and be treated like livestock, like slaves!

How could he not be furious?

“Other than the humans in the Prison Realm, I will grant any of your other wishes.” Fa Zhaozhen looked at Zhong Yue, and for the first time, the Realm Lord was apologetic as he said, “The Realm Monarch knows of the supreme rule of the Prison Realm. If I grant you the humans in the Prison Realm, it’ll only bring death upon you. But I am not a nobody either, I still have some connections and my own ways in the Six Paths World. You’ve earned me and the Prison Realm some face, and for that, I will reward you. How about this, tell me the names of the people from your clan, I will bribe the Hell officers and let them be reincarnated in their next lives.”

Zhong Yue shook his head, he inhaled deeply before answering in a solemn tone, “It’s fine, Realm Lord, there’s no need for that.”

Fa Zhaozhen quickly said, “Don’t, don’t, I don’t want to go back on my words. I’ve promised the two of you a wish each and if I fail to fulfil that promise, how are the people going to trust me in leading them? How about this, I have over 7,000 children, I’ll marry some of them to you? Oh no, how about a few hundred… or at the most one thousand of them! A thousand is really the all I can give to you. Anymore beyond that will include some of my elder daughters that have aged like a grannies. I bet you won’t have any interest in that…”

Zhong Yue stared back and said solemnly, “If Realm Lord you really do plan to reward me, then I hope that when one day I’m in a deep trouble, Realm Lord can…”

Fa Zhaozhen’s heart pounded in alertness and he quickly interrupted, “I can promise you this, but I’m not a man of my own, I break promises, I kill as I like, and I act solely on my own will. If you get into trouble beyond my abilities, then I will definitely not help you and will have fun watching you being killed instead. However, if it’s something minor, then I will fulfill my promise!”

Zhong Yue nodded and left.

Yu Bochuan watched Zhong Yue off, and suddenly, he turned back around with a face full smiles, “Realm Lord, you didn’t grant Brother Zhong, then can you grant me another wish? I’d like to have…”

“You’ve already granted your wish to Zhong Yue, why are you asking for another wish now?” Fa Zhaozhen smirked as he said, “Out!”

Yu Bochuan was infuriated, “But you didn’t accept Zhong Yue’s request either!”

Huff—

Yu Bochuan was thrown out of the hall while Fa Zhaozhen’s laughter still lingered in his ears, “So what? I never said I will accept your request blindly, did I? Just go around and ask anyone, since when am I a man of my words?”

When Zhong Yue returned to his courtyard, his burning heart has also slowly been calmed. With his current power and capabilities, unnecessary anguish was not only useless, but would also disrupt his thoughts.

However, the anger in him was just temporarily suppressed and not extinguished. The unjustness from the world to his ancestors and people could not be changed as they were long history. But now he swore that in the future, his divine sabers would cleave open a path through all the injustice the world has done to them, and that his people would no longer be maligned!

Seeing him return, Zheng Yan took a few steps forward and suddenly stopped as she hesitated. Zhong Yue saw her reactions and said while smiling, “Senior Martial Sister Zheng Yan, we had a deal and it is still effective. I will impart you with a Creator’s cultivation technique whereas in turn, you will teach me your incomplete art of reversing the prenate state to innate.”

Zheng Yan wasn’t hurried to complete the deal, she scrutinized him from tip to toe and said curiously, “Did you cry?”

Zhong Yue blushed and refuted, “Nonsense!”

“A man doesn’t cry not because he won’t, but it’s the things that would truly struck him have yet to arrive. What’s there to be ashamed of even if you’ve really cried? But still, it’s quite surprising to know that even the overbearing Evil God Zhong cries.”

Zheng Yan chortled, “Did Realm Lord Fa bully you? He didn’t grant you your request? I heard that Realm Lord Fa of the Prison Realm is a man who goes back on his words all the time. How foolish of you to believe him? I was chatting with Senior Martial Sister Wudao and told her our deal. She told me that there are so many cultivation techniques in this world and each has a uniqueness of their own. What if the Creator-level cultivation technique you are to impart to me is useless to me? I took her opinion into consideration and agree with her. Some of the Creator’s cultivation techniques are indeed useless to me, and what if the one you are going to impart to me is one of them? Wouldn’t I be wasting my time for a deal which I suffer losses? Thus, I won’t abide with the deal anymore.”

Zhong Yue’s face changed drastically while keeping quiet.

Zheng Yan suddenly shuddered in cold, she felt an appalling aura brewing within the young man’s body, cold like the ice mountain on the outside and yet, burning in heat like a volcano within. Her grew uneasy and murmured apologetically, “Evil God Zhong, what are you thinking? Don’t act rashly, this is the Heaven Realm!”

Zhong Yue answered softly, “I’ve thought of a senior martial brother of mine who goes by the surname of Feng. He is quite a celestial being, an immortal who seeks for only the profundity of Dao. I’m thinking whether if I should, for one, follow his ways of cultivation.”

Feng Xiaozhong’s cultivation was a path paved of corpses, soaked with blood, and resounded with the cries of pain and torments of his subjects. He would do anything to get his hands on the gods’ mortal bodies and spirits, including entering the tombs of the dead and dug them out himself. Be it the monsters, insects, demons or celestials, Feng Xiaozhong would dissect and study all of them thoroughly.

Zhong Yue was pondering while he looked at the young lady.

Zheng Yan heaved a breath of relief, she said with a smile, “I thought you were going to do something bad to me. Although I’m not exchanging the cultivation techniques as we speak, I will still compensate you in some other ways. The [Art of Innate Reversal] I got my hands on is incomplete, there is some crucial information missing. In it, there is a Creator-level skill which I can’t impart to you, but I can still teach you the art of the [Art of Innate Reversal]. Thus, I have not failed to fulfill my promise.”

Zhong Yue was startled, while Zheng Yan raised her jade finger and poked his forehead, she smiled naughtily, “Now our deal is complete. Evil God Zhong, I hope to see you again in the future!” As she finished, the young lady pranced toward the exit.

Zhong Yue instantly found a new cultivation technique appearing in his mind, it explained how to cultivate the complete Five Elemental True Spirits through only one of the Elemental True Spirits by the reversal and generation of the five elements then followed by a brief introductory on reversing the prenate states of the True Spirits into the Innate True Spirits.

However, a notable chunk of the cultivation technique was missing, which was the part that explained how to awaken the Five Elemental Innate True Spirits.

Without that, the cultivator would never be able to truly reverse the innate states. But even its incomplete, the [Art of Reversal Innate] was still a profound cultivation technique.

“Senior Martial Sister Zheng Yan, wait for a second.” Zhong Yue suddenly stopped her, he added, “Wait here just for a few days.”

Zheng Yan stopped and her heart grew vigilant, she asked, “What are you trying to do? I said already, I won’t give you the Creator-level skill! I’m not afraid of you if you are trying to pick a fight! The Five Elemental Innate True Spirits are not inferior to the Sun Moon True Spirits! You won’t be able to hold me down if I want to run!”

Zhong Yue smiled, “You are worrying too much. Your Creator-level skill is not as valuable to me as you think it is. You’ve given me a big present and so, it is natural for me to repay you, else I won’t be comfortable just letting you leave. Just wait for a few days.”

Zheng Yan was filled with suspicions, “I don’t want you to repay me with marriage.”

Zhong Yue laughed speechlessly, he was extremely curious about what was in the young lady’s head, why was her thinking so different to most ordinary girls.

He shook his head and recollected his thoughts. Zhong Yue sat down and comprehended the [Art of Reversal Innate]. After a long time, Zhong Yue’s body shivered and countless Yin and Yang lines billowed out from his body. They were continually reforming into many marvelous symbols around him while he tried to recalculate the missing part of the cultivation art.

However, the Creator-level cultivation art was still a distance away from his current comprehension, he couldn’t even calculate its flaw, let alone recovering the lost information!

Even so, he still had confidence; mainly because he had succeeded in reversing the states from prenate to innate. He had cultivated both the Golden Crow and Star Toad into the innate state and also awakened them!

Furthermore, he had even cultivated his soul into the Innate True Soul and was just a little ways from awakening it!

He could be said as having experienced in reversing the states of prenate to innate. However, he had yet to fully understand how to reverse the Five Elemental Spirits into the innate state. But now, Zheng Yan, who had cultivated it successfully, made a good subject for him to study to as he recovered the lost information in the art. In addition to his exceptional deductive ability, there was a high chance he could succeed in recovering the missing part in the [Art of Reversal Innate]!

Days flashed by, and finally, after half a month’s of waiting, the bored Zheng Yan suddenly got up from her seat and walked toward the exit.

All of a sudden, the symbols around Zhong Yue grew lesser as they were disappearing one after another.

Zhong Yue opened his eyes, he hovered inches above the ground and poked his finger on Zheng Yan’s forehead. He laughed and said, “You may leave now.”
