Rewind With A Superstar System
Chapter 274 - 274: 274 | Silencing Critics

The opening verse came in quietly.
It wasn't an aggressive diss track. It was a grounded, introspective record about keeping your head down and moving forward while thousands of voices argued over who you were, what you deserved, and how you were supposed to operate.
The lyrics made it unmistakably clear that he was writing his material in real time on the road.
The melody was deceptively simple, but the newly integrated [Resonance (A)] gave the song an extra edge, ensuring that the audience would never forget what it meant.
Then, halfway through the final chorus, Von stepped onto the circular platform at the end of the runway.
Some fans on the floor pointed upward, recognizing the setup.
Screams filled the arena as Von launched toward the arena ceiling. He kept ascending past twenty, thirty, until he reached forty feet above the floor!
A kid in the lower bowl tugged his father's jacket in disbelief. "Dad, look! It really looks like he's flying!"
"Looks?" his dad responded while lifting him up. "He is flying. I guess you were right about Superman."
Down below, twenty thousand phone flashes went off at once. The Cipher Tech-Shell answered every flash, its reflective seams blazing silver-white as Von banked across the air, belting the soaring final chorus with immaculate breath control.
It was his first aerial stunt since Miami. After forty-eight hours of critics claiming his career was hollow spectacle, Von casually flew across an arena while delivering a brand-new premiere.
If it was a statement, he never said it out loud. The internet understood it regardless.
By the following morning, photos from Staples Center had completely smothered the daytime panel debate.
The Cipher Tech-Shell dominated every fashion blog. Paparazzi shots of actors leaving the venue with the modular jacket zipped into vest mode spread across entertainment feeds, while flash photography made the glowing seams look like CGI.
ABOVE THE NOISE was clipped from hundreds of phone angles, and footage of the flight stunt made Von trend yet again.
Yet what caught Von's attention while scrolling through his phone on the hotel balcony wasn't the clothing traction.
It was the comments under the live recordings.
Fans weren't just calling the performance good; they kept describing how the song lingered physically.
Listeners claimed that replaying a ten-second snippet brought back the exact emotional weight and presence they had felt standing in the building.
Von looked at the recurring descriptions and smiled faintly.
'Resonance Echo.'
The Grade A upgrade was doing exactly what it was designed to do.
Night Two at Staples Center had been plotted long before any television critics opened their mouths. That was what made the contrast so effective.
The second show deliberately inverted the first.
The set was stripped of most stuff. Several core records were rearranged around Alex Hall's live electric guitar, Conor Prince's acoustic drums, and a grand piano.
Von still delivered sharp choreography when the rhythm demanded it, but for most of the night, he stood under clean white floodlights and sang.
For the premiere, he brought out Seeking Love, a record he had drafted during the H-19 lockdown.
The song dug into the exhaustion of looking for genuine intimacy in a harsh world. It wasn't designed to be a radio-dominating pop single, but delivered under raw acoustic spotlights, the emotional projection left the arena mesmerized.
By the time the house lights came up, the same trade outlets that had questioned his vocal substance were clipping his live runs for viral traffic.
In the visiting locker room, the System chimed to Von.
[Ding!]

The crew checked out of Los Angeles on Friday morning.
The hotel suites were cleared, the tour coaches pulled back into formation, and within an hour the convoy was rolling north up Interstate 5.
Oakland was next.
The distance wasn't short enough to treat it like Southern California, but after weeks of cross-country touring, a six-hour highway run barely registered as travel.
By Sunday, November 1st, Oakland Arena was packed.
Von gave Northern California a darker, industrial-leaning show driven by distorted synths, heavy low-end sub-bass, and rapid live percussion.
He premiered a dark electronic track, closing out the set with Alex and Conor trading blistering live solos under blinding white strobes.
There was no sabotage or road delays. Just another sold-out arena, another orderly load-out, and another performance score safely in the nineties.
That steady rhythm was quickly becoming the best part of the tour.
The operation was firing cleanly. The road crew and touring personnel had moved past professional distance and operated like a tight unit.
Max's nightly TickTock recaps pulled millions of views, V-OMEN couldn't restock PARADOX items fast enough to meet demand, Patch had fresh production files waiting before the convoy crossed state lines, and Von had adjusted so completely to the touring lifestyle that sleeping on the road felt very normal.
Even Emily seemed lighter.
She spent far more time out in the front lounge rather than barricaded behind her laptop. When she wasn't on the phone negotiating settlements, she naturally drifted toward Von's space.
Sometimes it was her shoulder pressed against his while they laughed at an edit on Max's tablet.
Other times it was her hand resting casually on his knee while she skimmed through arena contracts.
Or Von sliding past her in the narrow galley corridor, casually plucking a chocolate pastry right out of her fingers while she rolled her eyes and let him take it.
Everything was running smoothly. Almost too smoothly.
None of that crossed their minds as the lights of Oakland Arena faded behind the convoy late Sunday night.
As the buses swung north onto the interstate, cold rain waited hundreds of miles ahead. And beyond that lay Seattle, where the silence could finally break.
"We're here!"
