Rewind With A Superstar System
Chapter 271 - 271: 271 | Tour Marathon
<🎧 Song Recommendation: Pretty Little Fears by 6LACK, J. Cole>
...
"You absolute menace!" Alex laughed, shoving Von's shoulder as he dumped his guitar into its flight case.
"The entire front row looked like they caught a physical slap when the 808 dropped!"
"Told you ATL would respect the pocket," Conor said with a wide grin, unstrapping his wrist tape.
Von laughed, catching a water bottle Emily tossed to him. He stepped over to his locker, pulled off his damp shirt, and called up his private interface.

The convoy rolled out of the underground bays at 1:30 AM on the 11th of October, slicing northwest through the dark toward Tennessee.
And that was when the blur took over.
Life on the road settled into an unrelenting fast moving machine. The initial shock of the leaked setlist and highway traps had faded, replaced by the rhythmic discipline of a touring camp firing on all cylinders.
<Nashville (Show 05 — Bridgestone Arena)>
A Tuesday night in the home of live instrumentation. Von benched the trap beats entirely and brought Alex Hall out to the center runway with twin acoustic guitars under warm amber lights.
For two hours, the show was a masterclass in organic musicianship, clean fingerpicking, lightning-fast blues transitions, and vocal control so pure it silenced country traditionalists and skeptical rock critics alike.
Near the end of the night, Von premiered Older, a stripped-back, melancholic acoustic ballad.
The lyrics captured the quiet pain of watching time slip away, leaving childhood safety behind, and confronting the heavy, unasked-for burdens of adulthood.
The entire arena fell pin-drop silent, with thousands of fans wiping away tears before giving him a three-minute standing ovation.
<New Orleans (Show 06 — Smoothie King Center)>
Friday night in the Big Easy. During afternoon soundcheck, Von walked two blocks down Frenchmen Street and recruited a six-piece brass ensemble on two hours' notice.
When the lights went down, the horn section marched out in traditional second-line formation, blasting live trumpets and trombones directly over heavy sub-bass lines.
During the encore, Von premiered Bourbon Street Ghost, an explosive, swinging jazz-trap anthem about chasing restless memories through rain-slicked alleys and neon bar lights.
At the pop-up, Drop 2 landed: the Adjustable Parachute Cargos ($110). Crafted from heavy matte-black technical nylon with adjustable drawstring hems, they stacked cleanly over the bulky collars of the Exo-Foam Boots.
Even with the higher price point, the utility wear sold out in less than fifty minutes.
Between shows, the lead star coach became an assembly line.
In the front galley, Von ran his batch-production pipeline behind his laptop, trading audio stems and mix revisions with Patch across state lines.
In the rear lounge, Alex practiced fretboard scales with headphones plugged into a pocket headphone amplifier, while Conor sat on the carpet, drilling rudiments into a rubber practice pad on his knees.
Max spent his free hours hunched over his editing laptop, slicing tour footage into high-energy behind-the-scenes recaps for TickTock and Photogram.
By the time the fourteen semi-trucks crossed the Texas state line, the tour had transformed from a standard promotional run into an unstoppable cultural siege.
<Houston & Dallas (Shows 07 & 08 — Toyota Center & American Airlines Center)>
Texas was pure, massive scale.
In Houston, Drop 3 arrived: the Void Balaclava Hoodie ($140). By the time Von walked out under the lights, the entire lower bowl was an ocean of blacked-out, masked faces shouting every line in unison.
For the Texas leg, Von pulled off an ambitious conceptual experiment: a continuous, two-part narrative track.
In Houston, he premiered Reckless Highway, Pt. 1; a gritty, fast-paced story track about a runaway escaping a doomsday hometown, ending on a tense cliffhanger as police sirens echoed through the soundboard.
Two nights later in Dallas, he followed it up with Reckless Highway Pt. 2 (with Alex Hall), resolving the story with a soaring, stadium-rock finale driven by blistering guitar leads from Alex.
The fans in Dallas went wild realizing they had just received the conclusion to Houston's cliffhanger.
The tour was physically draining, but the entire crew was thriving. The constant transit, late-night diner runs, and shared stage adrenaline had bonded them into a tight unit.
It was a massive, welcome contrast to the stressful, suspicious atmosphere that had clouded their rehearsals in Miami.
They treated the run like a marathon, keeping their energy high and their focus sharp.
And then came the desert.
<Phoenix (Show 09 — Talking Stick Resort Arena)>
Sunday night in the dry Arizona heat. Nine shows in twenty-three days.
Von took the stage in Phoenix and delivered a relentless, two-hour masterclass.
His movements were calculated to save stamina, his breath control never wavered, and he hit every vocal register perfectly.
For the Phoenix crowd, he premiered Happy For A Moment (with Conor Prince), a bright, bittersweet indie-pop record built around driving drums and breezy acoustic riffs.
Back in the visiting locker room after the final blackout, the steam from the shower was still hanging in the air when the System chimed inside Von's head.
