[Sunday, October 4th — Kaseya Center, Downtown Miami]

By midday, the heat over Biscayne Boulevard was great, but the crowd outside the arena didn't care.

If Friday's opener had been driven by curiosity, Sunday's show was fueled by pure hype. Viral clips of Von flying across the ceiling, the glowing fiber-optic suit, the guitar solo, and the raw performance of Blinding Lights had dominated social media for a long time now.

Over twenty thousand ticket holders were already gathering in the plaza, joined by thousands of others without tickets who had come just to soak in the atmosphere.

The black PARADOX pop-up container was swarmed. The line for the Exo-Foam boots stretched around the plaza, with fans eager to grab pairs before sizes sold out.

Inside the arena, the production team worked like a well-oiled machine.

Soundcheck ran from noon to three. Alex and Conor locked down the live arrangements, while Kiana and Tobias ran the dancers through the spacing adjustments on the floor.

David oversaw the entire crew from the soundboard, ticking off cues on his tablet with quiet satisfaction.

At seven o'clock sharp, the arena lights died.

A collective roar from twenty thousand people shook the concrete floor.

Von didn't give them Friday's show.

True to the declaration he had made, the entire order was different. He kicked off the night with an explosive, high-energy rock rendition of Don't Stop from his debut album, throwing the crowd off balance right from the opening beat.

For two hours, the pacing never dipped.

Von led the dance crew through fresh routines. Alex tore through guitar riffs center-stage, Conor drove the thunderous rhythms from the drum riser, and the audience sang along to every track without missing a word.

Near the end of the set, the heavy stage lights faded down into a soft, warm amber glow.

A stagehand jogged out and handed Von an acoustic guitar.

Von walked to the edge of the circular runway, sitting down with his legs hanging over the barricade just as he had on opening night.

The entire arena quieted down, anticipation hanging in the air.

Von adjusted the microphone and lightly brushed the strings, picking out a gentle, comforting melody.

It was Sasha's Song.

🎸♪

Why do bad things happen to the best of us

It seems like they should be blessed

They just might be angels here as guests

Teaching us to be our best...

🎸♪

His voice rang out smooth, tender, and deeply resonant through the vast room.

In the audience, thousands of phone flashlights switched on, creating a breathtaking sea of white stars across the dark stands. From the floor barricades to the highest upper tiers, fans sang the chorus softly back to him, their voices blending into a warm, unified choir.

When the last chord died away, the arena erupted into deafening applause.

Von stood up, handed the acoustic guitar back to the stage technician, and took the handheld microphone from its stand.

He walked back to the center of the walkway, letting the cheers wash over him as a confident grin spread across his face.

"Miami," Von announced in high spirits. "Two sold-out nights in my home city. You have no idea what this means to me."

The crowd screamed back in response.

Von held up a hand, waiting for the noise to level out just enough for them to hear him.

"On Friday, I made a promise that no two nights on this tour would ever be the same," Von continued, pacing the stage with ease. "Every single city gets something made just for them. And for our final night in Miami... I couldn't leave without bringing out some very special friends of mine."

The audience started buzzing, the screams growing louder as people leaned forward in their seats.

"They're one of the most iconic sounds to ever come out of Florida," Von said, his voice rising with excitement. "Platinum records, global anthems, and legends of the scene. I made a quick call yesterday afternoon..."

Von paused, pointing both hands straight toward the back of the stage.

"Miami... make some noise for MIDNIGHT PULSE!"

The arena completely came apart.

Before the screams could even peak, a heavy drum fill ripped through the sound system, the lighting rigs flashed into blinding neon gold and deep purple, and four figures rose from the floor lifts straight into the center stage spotlight.

Von took two strides across the stage and threw an arm around Leo's shoulders, bringing his mic up with a grin.

"Six months ago, this man sent me a very polite, very legal cease-and-desist letter," Von told the crowd, laughing over the roar. "Tonight, we play the damn song together!"

The arena erupted into a frenzy of laughter and cheers.

Conor slammed the count-in on his hi-hat, and the band launched straight into the roaring stadium-rock arrangement of Coming Home.

The energy detonated. Leo shook off the shock, leaning into his gritty, soulful rasp while Von layered clean, soaring harmonies over the hook.

Alex Hall stepped out to center stage, trading blistering guitar riffs back and forth with Eli, sending waves of screaming through the floor crowd.

It was a full-circle moment where bad blood turned into twenty thousand voices shouting every lyric in unison.

When the track crashed into its final chord, Leo held his hands up in genuine awe, taking in the standing ovation before Von led the arena in chanting Midnight Pulse's name all the way down the tunnel lifts.

True to his word, Von didn't drag the night out or rely on the previous show's tricks.

He tore through the remainder of the setlist with athletic mastery. By the time Blinding Lights wrapped the night as an electrifying floor routine, the Kaseya Center was drowning under a blizzard of gold confetti.

Night two was in the books.

The transition from the deafening roar of the stage to the tunnels backstage always felt like stepping off a cliff into quiet water.

The dancers were laughing, peeling off their sweat-soaked masks, while technicians rushed road cases toward the loading docks.

Von caught the towel Alex tossed at him, wiping the sweat from his face as he walked down the corridor.

A soft chime chimed directly in his field of vision.

[Ding!]

Von exhaled a slow, relieved breath, closing the interface. Ninety-six. It wasn't as great as the first night, but it was expected without any new music. Nevertheless, it still made him satisfied.

Down the backstage hall, Emily was on the phone, checking something with a clipboard in hand.

She looked as composed as always, but Von could see the exhaustion catching up to her. The subtle slump in her shoulders, the faint dark circles under her eyes.

Standing there, his mind went back to the kitchen at two in the morning. He had let doubt get the better of him, questioning her about the secret flight.

But pushing her for answers now would only make her put up walls. Whatever she was carrying was personal, and she was clearly trying to shoulder it alone.

Then another thought hit him, leaving a bitter taste in his mouth.

When had any of this ever been about her?

Since the day they met, every crisis, late night, and conversation had revolved around him. His albums, his tour, his goals.

Emily had spent months taking hit after hit to shield him, yet no one ever stopped to ask what was weighing on her.

'It's always been about me,' Von realized with a pang of guilt. 'That has to change.'

He didn't need to interrogate her. He just needed to make her feel safe enough to open up when she was ready.

Von tossed his towel aside and walked over. Without a word, he took the clipboard from her hands, set it down, and pulled her into a quiet, firm hug.

Emily blinked, caught off-guard as her cheek pressed against his chest.

"Von? What is it?" she asked softly, though her hands naturally came up to wrap around his back.

"Nothing happened," Von murmured, holding her a little tighter and letting her rest against him for a few seconds. "Just wanted to remind you to breathe. You've been on your feet for thirty hours."

A soft, tired laugh slipped past her lips, her tense shoulders finally relaxing in his grip.

"Someone has to keep David from accidentally routing our costume trailers to Georgia instead of Orlando," she whispered, leaning into the warmth.

"Let David get lost for ten minutes," Von smiled faintly, pulling back just enough to look down at her face. He reached out, gently tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "You did incredible tonight, Em. Seriously. Thank you."
