The Rune of the Giant throbbed and pulsed.

Ha ha.

Right.

You were here.

With you sitting right there, it made no sense from the start not to make use of you.

His laughter lasted only briefly before he entered a state of concentration.

Using something in a form that was not a skill felt unbearably awkward, but he had to do it.

Because he had a feeling that, just like Unity of Body and Sword and Formless Sword, there would be more powers like this in the future.

But it was difficult.

How was he supposed to do this?

The Rune of the Giant had responded for now, but how was he supposed to enlarge his body like when he used Gigantification as a skill?

At that moment, the sand golem’s fist fell toward Su-ho.

He had continued creating distance in order to focus on the Rune of the Giant, but as expected, the difference in distance covered due to the difference in physical ability was large.

On top of that, he had not even been able to escape because he had been concentrating on the rune.

Still, it was not as though he could not escape at all.

He briefly released his concentration and gathered strength into his legs.

And the moment he strongly stepped down.

Boooom!!

“......!”

A tremendous stomp.

The sandy ground caved in, and Su-ho’s body moved far away.

At the same time, Su-ho’s body flew into the air.

And Su-ho saw it.

Not only had his body moved far away, but it had also soared upward in an arc.

The reason he had shot upward as though he had performed a pole vault was none other than his own foot.

His foot had momentarily grown larger.

Like that of a giant.

No, not like one. It was a giant’s foot.

The enormous foot of his own that he had seen countless times whenever he used Gigantification.

Crash!

His foot shrank again.

Because of the sudden change, he landed incorrectly and rolled across the ground.

Sand entered his mouth.

On top of that, the sand was hot from being heated by the sun.

Ptoo, ptoo.

It was fine.

Regardless of that, the corners of Su-ho’s mouth were raised.

He rose from his place.

‘So that was it.’

It had not worked when he tried to use it at will, but it had activated in an emergency.

In other words, the dangerous situation had stimulated his instincts, and his instincts had stimulated the Rune of the Giant.

His foot tingled.

He had gotten a feeling for it.

Thump, thump, thump!

The sand golem approached him again.

Su-ho stared at the creature, thought for a moment, then raised the corners of his mouth.

He decided to change his strategy.

If he could not use it at will, then he only had to create an environment where it would be used instinctively, right?

Seeing once was better than hearing a hundred times.

He immediately charged at the sand golem.

The creature, seemingly pleased that its target was approaching first, swung its fist as well.

The fist fell.

A gigantic fist.

It looked as though a truck were falling.

He had no intention of dodging.

That mere fist made of sand.

It would hurt if it struck him, but it would not kill him.

Therefore, he boldly faced it head-on.

He jumped and thrust out his own fist toward the descending fist.

At that moment.

Booooom!!

A tremendous roar.

Something gigantic collided with something gigantic.

Their identities were fists.

The sand golem’s fist and Su-ho’s fist.

And astonishingly, Su-ho’s fist was similar in size to the descending fist of the sand golem.

The colliding fists soon mercilessly destroyed one entire fist.

“Guuuuung!”

Su-ho’s fist shrank again.

The sand golem let out a strange cry and swung its intact opposite hand again, aiming for Su-ho.

Su-ho’s body was still in midair.

It was a situation where Leap, Cheolma, and flight were all impossible.

However, without panicking, he twisted and rotated his body.

Then he thrust out his fist once more toward the fist flying at him.

Booooom!!

This time as well, the Rune of the Giant enlarged his fist exactly as Su-ho wanted and completely destroyed the sand golem’s attack flying toward him.

The sand golem had lost both hands.

Now, what are you going to do?

Su-ho’s body fell downward.

When he extended both feet downward, both feet enlarged momentarily this time and helped him land safely.

He did not stop there. He swung his enlarged feet and kicked the sand golem’s lower body, making it collapse completely.

Shururuk!

When the sand golem collapsed, his body returned to normal again.

He laughed.

It felt like riding an amusement park attraction, and it also felt like controlling a transforming robot children played with.

‘Ah, this is not the time for this.’

He had to find the core.

Otherwise, that creature would revive again.

It was too late.

The moment he thought that, the creature had already absorbed the surrounding sand and grown even larger.

“Ha ha.”

It was enormous.

Had it felt like that when he first saw a giant?

But why had it suddenly grown so large without any regular pattern?

I see.

I’m in the middle of a trial right now.

If that was the case, there was no way that creature had simply appeared for no reason.

His eyes narrowed.

As he thought about it, a thought suddenly occurred to him.

That thing had appeared the moment he completely absorbed the Rune of the Giant, and it was gradually increasing the size of its body.

In truth, he had already touched every place where a core seemed likely to be, yet nothing had appeared.

Then there were only a few things he could infer.

Among them, the most likely was that he had to use that creature as a practice opponent and become capable of fully controlling the Rune of the Giant.

Because the creature was growing larger and larger, and the density of its body was also becoming stronger and stronger.

If that was the case, there was a very high probability that there was no core-like object inside the sand golem’s body.

‘The reason they deliberately gave me three days must have been to give me enough time to practice. And that practice is probably for the next trial.’

Okay, that was enough.

Once he had roughly grasped the situation, his mindset changed.

Thanks to that, his head became clear.

It was already the third day, and he had not slept, rested properly, eaten, or drunk anything, but it was fine.

Since when had he ever cared about such things?

What had been restricted were his skills, not the stats and physical abilities he had built up.

Once his objective became clear, Su-ho began charging at the sand golem in earnest.

“Guuuuuuuuh!”

It had now grown so large that even its strange cry sounded distorted.

It was fine.

He could listen to a sound like that as much as necessary.

The moment he closed the distance with the sand golem, he thrust his fist toward the creature’s shin.

The extended fist enlarged in an instant and struck the shin.

Booooom!

A tremendous explosive roar.

However, astonishingly, the creature’s shin was not destroyed.

Normally, the entire shin should have been blown away, causing it to lose balance on one side and collapse, but now so much absorbed sand had clumped together that its density itself had become tremendous.

‘This size is not enough, is that it?’

To bring down the enlarged sand golem, he needed greater power and a larger body capable of producing it.

Darkness descended.

It was the shadow created by the sand golem’s hand falling from above.

A tremendous descent, as though a building were falling.

Su-ho chose defense instead of evasion.

Booooom!!

He extended his hands.

His hands enlarged and blocked the sand golem’s descending palm.

“Ghk!”

However, it was not enough.

He had clearly succeeded in stimulating his instincts and drawing out parts of his enlarged body, but the size was still small and the transformation remained partial.

‘At the very least, it should be similar in size to the sand golem’s hand!’

He could barely stop one of the sand golem’s hands by putting his two enlarged hands together, so he could not help feeling dissatisfied.

At that moment, the sand golem’s opposite hand fell again.

It dropped an additional fist on top of the palm it had already brought down.

Booooom!!

Tremendous force.

Sand scattered, and an enormous crater formed.

Su-ho’s body was buried deep in the sandy ground like a small nail.

Still with both arms raised.

“Ggugugugu!”

As its attack finally began to work, the sand golem started laughing in a voice close to a strange cry.

Su-ho’s expression crumpled.

His two enlarged hands shrank, and his body became buried far underground.

Only his head barely remained outside.

He twisted his body and tried to escape from this place that resembled a hell of sand, but the soft grains of sand dragged Su-ho deeper into the mire the more he twisted.

At that moment, darkness descended once again.

It was the fist of the sand golem, which had laughed to its heart’s content.

The creature’s fist fell as though hammering in a nail.

Boom!

There was no unexpected change.

It fell exactly as it was and created a crater inside the crater.

Su-ho, who was at the center of it, was driven even deeper.

The punching continued after that as well.

Regardless of its enlarged body, the sand golem swung its fists without pause like pouring rain.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Every time its fists struck the ground, the desert shook.

The grains of sand across the entire desert trembled as though an earthquake had occurred, and the creature alternated between both hands like a madman. Then, as though swallowed by madness, it clasped both hands together and smashed them downward, or planted one hand on the ground and struck down crazily with the other.

It struck and struck again like that.

A crater formed inside the crater, and another formed inside that one, until the incoming grains of sand made it impossible for any further depression to form. Only then did the sand golem stop swinging its fists.

Instead, it jumped high into the air.

Then it brought both feet together and slammed down with all its strength toward the place where Su-ho was.

Booooom!!

Like a meteor.

The air was thick with sand and dust.

“Ggugugugugugu!”

After causing such a commotion, the sand golem laughed as though satisfied.

The creature’s upper body was buried in the deep crater.

Was it over?

If this had been a sporting event, everyone watching the match would have held their breath in shock.

If anyone had bet on Su-ho, they would have torn up their betting slip and left the stadium long ago.

That was how hopeless the situation was.

It happened then.

Rrrrrrrrrumble-

The ground vibrated.

The entire desert began to heave.

The sand golem tilted its head.

What is it?

I didn’t do anything?

Just as it thought that.

Booooom!!

The sand golem’s body exploded.

The explosion, which began from the lower body, split through the entire upper body in a straight line and erupted all the way to the crown of its head.

An explosion that began from below.

A pillar had been erected where the sand golem had exploded.

A gigantic pillar.

The sand golem’s body burst apart, scattering sand and dust, and as they settled, the identity of the gigantic pillar was revealed.

An arm.

It was an arm.

And what was attached to its end was a fist.

It unmistakably belonged to a person.

Rrrrrrrrrumble-

At the same time, the desert began to heave once again.

The arm rising like a pillar grabbed the ground, and another hand emerged elsewhere.

Like a gigantic robot emerging from a splitting vortex, something began revealing itself as it pushed through the sand.

It was none other than Su-ho.

“Uwaaaaaaaaah!!”

Su-ho had achieved complete Gigantification rather than partial Gigantification.

Having returned, Su-ho raised both arms and roared.
