Chapter 1224: Ch 1224: Unknown Time

After getting out of the miasma filled island, all three of them appeared in the approximate location where a major city in the Gountian Federation was supposed to be.

Even though a lot of time had passed, as Jaun had been asleep all this time, for him, his memories about this city was very recent. So there was no way he could make any mistake about the location of this city.

But the location where he and the two ladies had appeared, it was the middle of an endless ocean. And seeing this, for the first time, an extremely surprised expression appeared on his face.

At the same time, the two ladies also understood that something was definitely wrong. Immediately, the petite blue lady named Ann spoke up -

"Jaun, don’t worry. Give me some time. I will go and check a few things."

Saying this, without waiting for an answer, the blue lady disappeared. Sera and Jaun did not try to stop her as they were way too bewildered about the current situation.

After teleporting away, Ann appeared in the middle of the ocean once again. But this location was several thousands of kilometers away from where Juan and Sera were.

After that, she continued to do medium distance teleportation again and again. After doing this for five more time, she was finally able to see the land. And even though there were no large settlement present in her view, there were a few beastkins who were fishing in the ocean.

Ann did not waste any time and immediately appeared before the beastkins. Then with a wave of her hand, all of their eyes glazed over.

Ann was a rank 10 powerhouse and these beastkins before her were mostly rank 3 with just one of them being rank 4. So it was completely natural that they would not be able to resist her at all.

After taking these beastkins under her control, she asked them for the current date. And the answer that she got made her to frown her eyebrows.

The answer was that the current date was 21st in the month of Silvervane and the year was 31004. This was something completely new for Ann and she had never heard of the month of Silvervane.

When she and the other two had went to sleep, the date was 103th day in the 427th Great Divine Year of the 4th megayannum. So the current style of date was a brand new experience for Ann, which made her even more bewildered.

The dating style was standardized by all the large scale organisations working together. And this style had remained unchanged for millions of years. So it getting changed was something that Ann had never expected even in her wildest of dreams.

From the very beginning, she had started to understand that they had been asleep for much longer than what they were guessing. She was not a fool. But from what she could see, the time period seemed to be extra large so she was trying to avert her eyes from the truth.

But now, she could not do that anymore. So Ann became a little frantic and asked the beastkins about some of the large scale organisation that she was familiar with. They were the behemoths that even the most remote places were aware of.

But the answer she got was exactly what she was fearing. None of those organisations existed.

There was only one whose name had matched with an existing organisation but the head of that organisation was just a rank 7 powerhouse. So Ann was sure that the similarity in name was just a coincidence.

After this, she had tried to find out at least how much time had passed. But no matter what Ann mentioned from her time period, no one was able to recognise any of that.

This turn of event had made Ann so angry that she ended up brutally slaughtering all the beastkins. Just killing them was not enough and she ended up grinding all of them to dust. After that, in order to vent her frustration, she used a massive magic spell related to Gravity and flattened the ship where all the beastkins were.

But then, she did not waste any time and disappeared from her location. As she and her companions had no idea about what was happening in the current time period, she needed to be careful.

Ann also regretted killing all the beastkins so quickly. There were more questions that she could have asked them. But in her anger, she ended to killing them all.

But there was no time for her to waste by thinking about what was already done.

So Ann returned over the sea once again and soon managed to met up with her two companions. All three of their souls were connected. So they could sense each other’s presence all the time.

After meeting up, as Ann apologised, she learnt that the other two had also made their moves and as they were way more serene than her, they were able to extract some truly useful information.

Even they had no idea about how much time had actually passed as it looked like nothing from their era had managed to survive.

But Jaun was very excited to know the current power level of this world. Rank 10 powerhouses were at the top with only a single rank 11 powerhouse ruling this world. So the average power level had drastically went down since their time.

So not only all the enemies that these three people had were gone, they now had a weak world that they could use as their playground. So this weak and pathetic world was perfect for violent brutes like these three.

But Jaun was still not planning to be careless. As there was still one rank 11 powerhouse, he was planning to raise his rank first and kill him. Only after that he would be able to rule over this world as he wished.

And just like that, the ambition of world conquering started to burn in the heart of this man. And while imagining it, he thought back to his life and how he had appeared in his current situation.
