Chapter 1170: Ch 1170: Divine War, Death of Billions

Just as the attacks of the other gods were about to hit Arianade, she swang her sword just once very quickly. She was so fast that even these rank 10 gods were unable to completely see what she did.

Actually, Arianade did not really do anything to amazing. She just used a technique that she had learned just recently and used her own divine sword aura to create a barrier around the area where she was.

Actually, Arianade was not worried about getting hurt herself. She had been fighting in the battlefield for a very long time and had found herself in situations which were even more dangerous than this.

So what she was worried about was the star gem of her sister that she had just found. Even though Star gems were incredibly sturdy, the people attacking her were rank 10 powerhouses. So obviously Arianade needed to protect it.

So while blocking all the attacks through the causally created sword barrier, she gently lifted the dagger and thrusted it into her belly while making sure that her defenses were at the lowest point.

The quality of the dagger was not low, so she managed to pierced herself in one attack and stored the dagger inside her body. This was the safest spot that Arianade could find in this battlefield.

As she was done with it, her wound immediately healed. And at that exact moment, the sword barrier was unable to withstand anymore attacks and finally broke. But none of the attacks landed on Arianade as she was already gone.

Among the gods of this universe, Arianade was one of the fastest. Only the two supreme gods and some special gods like the God of Space or the goddess of Time were most probably faster than her.

But these special gods were extremely important and most of the time, they stayed near the source of their authority and almost never participated in any kind of battle unless the whole universe was about to be destroyed.

So they were obviously not participating in this battle either. That made Arianade the fastest powerhouse in this battlefield.

Actually, most of the gods had no idea how powerful Arianade actually was. She mostly fought alone without any witnesses. The only reason why her strength was known a little bit was because she had ended up saving a group of gods from a demonic ambush once.

And after getting trained by Golden Elena, her strength had increased even more. So these gods were nothing before the current her even with their numbers advantage.

So this battle did not last for too long. Arianade just needed to show off her speed and sword skills a little and the battle was already over. All seven of the rank 10 gods who had came to attack her had fainted and were unable to move anymore.

As for why they were still alive, it was obviously because Arianade had shown mercy. The death of so many high ranking gods would definitely be devestating for the world of Celesta. And as Arianade had no hatred for this world of hers, she obviously did not want that.

So she made sure to not kill anyone but she was not really gentle in handling them. She was actually a bit worried about the hidden secret realm as this attack was definitely well planned, so the hidden secret realm was most probably the main target.

So after using her sword aura to trap all the fainted gods, Arianade quickly returned back. And what she saw upon returning made her blood to run cold.

As soon as the goddess of sword Arianade left, several gods waiting in ambush made their moves. They were all rank 7 or rank 8 in terms of strength but what they took out next held the power of someone who was in the rank of 10.

They were crystals called refined Sun Drop and it was something that Rah had prepared for them. As a rank 11 powerhouse, creating something like this was rather easy for him.

These refined Sun Drops were very similar to bombs but much more powerful. It was hard, almost impossible for anyone below the rank of 10 to withstand these.

At first, 10 of them were used to break the barrier of this hidden realm. But even though these powerful items created a scene straight from the hell with fire everywhere, the barrier was not damaged at all.

Even though this barrier was made by Golden Elena quite casually, with her incredible powers, it definitely was something extremely powerful. So these simple bombs were unable to damage it.

But the gods who performed the attacks did not look defeated with this outcome. It looked like they had expected something like this to happen. So next, the person who was acting as the leader, he took out a spear with the emblem of the sun decorating it.

As soon as this spear was taken out, the space and even the time started to burn. The God holding it was a god of the fire element but even then, he was taking burning damage.

But fortunately, he had a lot of life force and he could hold onto this spear for some time. So he was able to aim it toward the barrier and threw it.

This spear had the power of a rank 11 powerhouse and even Rah could create only a limited amount of them. So there was no doubt that it was an extremely valuable and powerful item.

This power was then displayed before everyone by breaking through the barrier. This barrier was made in order withstand any and all attacks from powerhouses rank 10 or below. So before an attack reaching the rank of 11, it was unable to withstand it.

But the breaking of the barrier was not the end. Following behind the spear, through the hole that was created, more refined Sun Drops were poured inside the barrier. And the target of these bombs were the divine Kingdoms of the gods which were being protected inside the barrier.

And the result of this was terrible. Immediately, billions of people died with the refined Sun Drops going off. Quite a few weaker gods actually fainted after facing this devestating attack. None of the god’s had died with the protection of the higher ranking gods but that was soon going to change if this continued.

And this was the exact moment when Arianade came back. Her own divine Kingdom was also inside and had been effected. With her strength, it was able to withstand this without much damage but about a thousand or so of her people had died because of this move.

A god targetting the innocents of the divine Kingdom was a very unthinkable thing. Those inhabitants were weak and were also the weakest point of a god. So if this was allowed, then the whole world of Celesta would fall into Chaos.

For this reason, there was an unwritten agreement among the gods that no matter what, the inhabitants of the Divine kingdoms would never be directly attacked.

But now, this silent agreement had been broken. And this enraged even someone as calm and collected as Arianade. So she decided to not hold back anymore and made her move to take care of the foolish intruders.
