Chapter 1103: Ch 1103: Arbiter’s First Sealing

The Arbiter obviously wanted to talk with her friend first to understand what was happening and why she was doing something like this. But before doing that, there was something else that she needed to do.

And that most important task was to make sure that the will of the universe was not hurting anymore. The will was something akin to mother for the Arbiter, so obviously preventing her from getting hurt was her main objective.

With that in mind, Arbiter tried to neutralize her friend first. She still did not want to hurt her, so this was the only option available.

But the Sarie from that exact time was incredibly powerful. And even though she was unable to dominate the Arbiter easily like the previous supremes, it was clear that the Arbiter would definitely not be able to take her down any time soon. And while time was passing by, the boundary of the world was breaking down more and more.

So just as the Arbiter was starting to feel very anxious and her attacks started to became a bit less organised due to her instability, someone appeared in the middle of these two extremely powerful fighters.

And that person is question was none other than the mysterious man who had warned the Arbiter about the dangers of a derivative concept.

After that, he had made his move. Even with both of the ladies being super powerful, they were unable to see properly about what he did. But whatever he did was extremely powerful and both the Arbiter and Sarie were neutralized by him in mere seconds.

After that, he had taken taken them away after making them immobilise. And the new location where both of them had appeared turned out to be a void where both of the ladies felt a huge amount of restraint even with their status as a supreme level powerhouse.

After getting captured this way, both Arbiter and Sarie had became very calm. It was hard for both of them to believe that it was possible for someone so much stronger than them to even exist in the universe.

And now Sarie was sure that she had been too hasty and had underestimated the powerhouses of this universe while overestimating her own strength after she had managed to master her third Derivative Concept.

So, as she had already failed, she stopped caring about anything and returned back to her usual chill self that the Arbiter was familiar with. This very sudden change of personality was actually quite bizzare.

After bringing the two ladies here, the man responsible for this did not do anything to them and just started to sharpen a sword that he suddenly brought out.

In this bizzare situation, the very first thing that the Arbiter did was to not talk with the super powerful man but to ask her friend some questions.

It was still hard for her to understand why Sarie was doing something like this. So when Arbiter asked her this with a serious expression on her face, Sarie’s face showed several expression and then settled into to a irritated one.

In this expressions, Arbiter noticed happiness, sadness, anger, despair, devotion, hate, acceptance and defiance. So many opposite emotions were mixed in this that it was actually hard to properly understand what she was feeling at that moment.

Then Sarie told Arbiter something that she could not verify as she had never tried to master any derivative concept. And Arbiter had a hard time believing evrything that was said.

When Sarie had first mastered a derivative concept, she had felt that her connection with this universe had became loose at that moment and she was being connected something else even more powerful.

This feeling had just grown stronger as she had mastered more derivative concepts.

Then when she actually managed to understand her third concept, through their specialised investigative capabilities, she came in contact with a greater will. This was definitely something that was at a higher level then even the will of this universe.

After this connection was made, she started to get an uncontrollable urge to go under the rule of this greater will. But as an inhabitant of this universe, she was unable to do so and was forced to be under the rules and regulations of this universe.

This line of thinking was only natural according to Sarie. After witnessing the greater will and its majesty, no one would be able to resist it’s attraction.

So after this, she had started to experiment about how she could leave this universe in order to search for the greater will.

And as she was actually a genius, she had managed to come up with a possible hypothesis with a high chance of success about safely leaving the universe. And if she would be hurting this universe that had given birth to her in the process or not, that was completely irrelevant in her mind.

And that was why she had tried to break the boundary. It was actually not even her real attempt and she was just doing some experiments. With her increased strength, she had thought that no one would be capable enough to stop her and she would be able to continue hurting the universe as much as she wanted for her experiments.

But with the existence of this mysterious super powerful man, her plan’s had came to an unfortunate end. But was she going to give up ?

The answer to that was no. If she got the opportunity again, she was going to do the same thing. And she would be more cautious this time. Maybe directly targeting the will of the universe would be good ?

Listening to all of this and understanding what her friend was thinking, Arbiter almost went mad. She still did not want to believe this but the proof was right before her eyes.

So that day, with the help of the mysterious man, she ended up sealing her best friend of a long time. Sarie did not show any resistance but from her looks, it was clear that she had not given up and was ready to play the long game. She was confident that no seal in this universe would be able to keep her locked for too long.

That was the end of the Arbiter’s story. She did not say if this friend of hers had ever managed to come out of the seal or about what was her current state. But from how she looked, Elena was sure that there were more content in the story of these two friends.

As Elena was thinking this and was also planning how she could solve this trouble, Arbiter offered her another story, more like some information this time.

"So miss Elena, would you like to know what this young miss sharing a table with us was planning to do when we first sealed her ?"

Hearing this, Elena became interested. How could she not be ? So she looked at the Arbiter with curiousity and she also did not make her to wait too long to get the answer.
