He nodded his head at her words knowing that the military had a lot of vast skills as well as weaponry.

Being the commander Ronaldo would be heavily guarded and he had a lot of his own physical and mental strength. Taking him down wasn’t going to be any easy fit and it would take a lot on thew part of Zach as well as the smiths for them to be able to take him down.

It seemed as though violet was the only one who was thinking about all of the ways that this would go wrong.

"I know that we want to show the military that we are a force to be feared and that we will not take an attack lying down but this is not the way for us to go about doing it. Dying isn’t going to bring Brittany back. There has to be another way. a better way. And one that doesn’t end with all of us being dead. don’t get me wrong I want to make sure that Ronaldo pays as well but I want to do it and still be able to make it out alive. We must think through it all and we must do it with an open mind not heart." Violet said to. Them and she watched as the two men let out sighs from their lips before nodding their heads at her.

"So what do you want us to do. You keep saying that we have to come up with as better way that there has to be another solution to the problem but it seems as though you aren’t bringing any to the table yourself. So do you expect us to just sit around and do nothing." Bruce said to her ass his voice was slightly raised.

Violet let out a sigh from her lips as she didn’t say anything to him at first. "I don’t know what you want me to say and you may think that I am foolish for thinking this way but the fact is that unless there is someone that is willing to sacrifice themselves in order for us to prove a point then we are going to have to wait before we decide to do anything irrational. So is there?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Is there what?" Bruce asked her as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"Is there any one of you who is willing to volunteer. Are you willing to sacrifice yourself in order to kill Ronaldo and also for you to be able to get this revenge that you seem to be seeking so desperately." she said to them and she watched as the room fell silent.

"Well you see then it seems that none of you are ready for this. Well if you aren’t going to sacrifice yourself then you should know that there is no way that we are going to be able to. Cover this up successfully and the truth is thwart the only way that this is going to end is with the smiths getting implicated and we are all going to end up getting caught up in the middle of it. I am not sure about the rest of you but I for one know that is the last thing that I want or need and that is why I think that is it best for us not to take on this act of revenge. I can’t emphasize it enough that it isn’t going to get us anywhere and we aren’t going to end up achieving anything good by doing so." She said.

The room was silent once more3 as they all let her words to sink in. They knew that there was a depth of truth to her words and that it would be best for them to listen to her and to do as she said.

It may have been a bitter pill to swallow and it may have been something that they wouldn’t like doing but it would be the only way thwart they would be able to get out of the situation unscathed.

They had to think about the family as a whole and how to keep the ones who remained protected whilst thinking about Christina who was still captured.

They couldn’t allow their own emotions to get out of control and to end up ruining everything for them.

Zach knew this too and he also knew that he should have realized this a long time ago but he had allowed his own anger to get the better of him.

He didn’t like the disrespect and he didn’t like the fact that it felt as though they were losing and as though everything around them was falling apart.

"We can’t just give up. We have to find a way." Zach said to them as his tone was raised and he found himself starting to pace the floors.

Violet could tell how tense he was and she couldn’t help but feel her heart break at the sheer sight of his frustration.

She understood what it was like to feel as though everything was going wrong and with Zach being the head of the smiths family he seemed to have the weight of everyone on his shoulders. it was a heavy burden and a large cross for him to carry.

"I know that it seems as though you are giving up but you have to know that it doesn’t mean that this is over and that he has won. You are going to come back to this and when you do you are going to do so stronger than before." she said to him.

"What if we find a way to blame it on one of the other members of the military." He said suddenly.

Violet was quiet as she knew that he was grasping at straws.

"and how would you be able to do that. How do you think we are going to find someone who would fit the bill someone with the motive amongst his own men." She asked him and she watched as he seemed to think over it for a moment.,

"Well like I said he had a poor attitude and the chances are that I am not the first person that he has disrespected and that he must have also tried to tick off some of his own men. Whenever there is a hierarchy of power there are always those3 down who are looking up. It isn’t a pyramid made of cement but rather straws and they are easy to break. We just have to find that loose end that one person with a reason and a motive and it will be thew thread that we pull to unravel everything." Zach said rother with a bright smile on his face and from his words she could tell that they held an ear of confidence to them.

However violet knew better and she couldn’t help but shake her head at his words. "Although I think that your idea is great and that in a perfect world it would have worked out but you have to realize that in the end all you are doing is grasping at straws and the fact is that are basing this all on what ifs. How do you know that you are going to find someone who is going to fall into your trap. How do you now that his men aren’t blindly loyal to him and that there is going to be one or two poor fools that will be willing to fall into the trap and serve as our bate." She said to him.

She watched as he remained quiet and she couldn’t help but hum.

"You see we can’t be thinking about everything based on one or two what ifs. We have to have a plan that is solid and not one that can be unraveled." She said to him.

"Andy has intel about the military and we know that it is necessary for his job. What if we are able to get him to give us the information on the soldiers and we are able to target the ones who seem to have wavering interests." He said to her.

She shook her head at him, "And how do you know that that is something that Andy would be willing to do. How certain are you that he will be willing to give over such vital information on these group of people. Have you considered that." she said to him.

She watched as he let out a sigh from his lips as he slouched his shoulders at her slightly.

"Well how about. We blame it on the princess." He said suddenly.

But he knew that wasn’t going to work out either.

Princess Candice had run and there had been no word from the royals since.

Even if she was the one who was responsible they wouldn’t come for her because she was a royal and essentially what it meant was that she was untouchable.

The military would still want to get their justice but they would know that they wouldn’t be able to get it out of the royal family and so they would most likely try to take it out on others.

"You know that the princess isn’t in the city and the military would still want someone to be convicted for the crime. The royals would take a scapegoat. I know you and I know that you wouldn’t want an innocent civilian to go down for something like that. Plus the military aren’t fools and they would know that no civilian has the power or the weaponry to take down a commander. They would know that it was a lie and they would become even more intent on finding out the truth." Violet explained to him and she watched as he let out a sigh.
