Reincarnation Paradise Park
Chapter 1435 - 57: There Are Still 5 More
Chapter 1435: Chapter 57: There Are Still 5 More
By virtue of their strength difference, Black Bee captured a total of six Contractors from Reincarnation Paradise alive. The first six didn’t reveal what the mission punishment was even upon death, showing their resilience. One even infuriated Black Bee to the brink by laughing even after having his limbs severed, saying before dying: "Call me daddy, and I’ll tell you."
Black Bee, in a fit of rage, directly controlled the swarm to devour that Reincarnation Paradise Contractor.
Upon capturing the seventh, Black Bee got clever. He didn’t torture him and instead candidly told him: "You’re bound to die. Instead of suffering through torture, let’s be direct. Tell me the mission punishment, and I’ll give you a quick end."
What Black Bee didn’t expect was for that Reincarnation Paradise Contractor to nod and tell him four words: Enforced execution.
This made Black Bee understand why his opponents were so mad. If it were him, he’d do the same—failure in the mission meant death, so why run?
Black Bee realized that deducting attributes and enforced execution weren’t on the same punitive level. They had a way out, while the lunatics from Reincarnation Paradise had none. It’s either victory or death.
For this reason, Black Bee deceived all the Contractors of Apocalypse Paradise. He stayed in Lubei City not to leverage his early accumulated advantage for a final showdown with Reincarnation Paradise, nor unite with Holy Sanctuary Paradise, who weren’t any good either. The danger of those God Sticks was second only to Reincarnation Paradise’s crazies.
Moreover, Black Bee got a crucial piece of information. In the War World, after the mid-stage, Holy Sanctuary Paradise’s punishment also changed to enforced execution.
Knowing this, Black Bee’s mind buzzed as if he had foreseen the slaughter between Reincarnation Paradise’s crazies and Holy Sanctuary Paradise’s God Sticks in the rainforest. As for those from Apocalypse Paradise, they either loved bricklaying and mining or were just there for show on the battlefield.
Therefore, Black Bee planned to lead one god and hundreds of holes. His plan was simple and savage: bring both Reincarnation Paradise and Holy Sanctuary Paradise to Lubei City. He didn’t believe these two could coexist peacefully there.
As for his own people, Black Bee also tricked them into coming to Lubei City, nominally to hold off Reincarnation Paradise, then using local forces to launch an ambush against them.
Many Contractors from Apocalypse Paradise were deceived into coming. They too hoped for a war victory and weren’t afraid to risk their lives, as long as they didn’t go head-to-head with Contractors from other paradises. That was the truly despairing situation.
Black Bee’s aim was to tie all three factions up in Lubei City. Then, he would take the World Core and head to ’Extreme North·Jungle of Hot Rainforest’ at the fastest speed. If successful, things would change. Others might not manage this, but Black Bee, with his spatial abilities, could. If he succeeded, his act of leading a god and many holes would surely earn him an exaggerated reward.
If his plan truly succeeded, Black Bee would, by the rewards of a whole world, become the strongest Fourth-tier Contractor in the history of Apocalypse Paradise. It was worth staking his life for this.
It must be said that Black Bee was a Contractor with guts, strength, and intelligence. What he lacked were teammates willing to risk it all. However, Apocalypse Paradise had quantity, not quality.
Currently, in the War World, there were more than a thousand Contractors.
Reincarnation Paradise: 277 members (currently alive).
Holy Sanctuary Paradise: 371 members (currently alive).
Apocalypse Paradise: 867 members (currently alive).
...
With a threefold numerical disadvantage, just as the battle in Lubei City started, the Contractors from Apocalypse Paradise were a bit stunned, because the situation didn’t go as they had imagined. Over two hundred from Reincarnation Paradise fought with the momentum of over twenty thousand, searching all over the city for members of Apocalypse Paradise.
However, Apocalypse Paradise wasn’t entirely a pushover. Reincarnation Paradise also frequently suffered casualties.
The sounds of explosions, rays of various powers bloomed in the city, with an unknown number of Contractors clashing across various locations.
"The time is about right. Success or failure hinges on this."
Over a hundred Elemental Bees flew from Black Bee’s cuff, forming a Formation Diagram, a Space Formation Diagram.
"Judging by your expression, you seem quite confident of victory."
A voice devoid of emotion echoed. Hearing this voice made Black Bee’s heart tighten.
"You found me after all. Even with my ability, I can’t fully mask the World Core’s aura."
Black Bee’s face was grim. Preparing for ultra-long-range spatial movement required time.
The newcomer was the People’s Teacher, who glanced at the head on the ground, belonging to a member of the Arakawa Adventure Group. This young man often followed him around.
"What, was he a friend of yours?"
Black Bee’s eyes darted around as he planned to retreat.
"The word ’friend’ isn’t something I can comprehend."
The People’s Teacher unbuttoned his coat, and with it off, revealed a white shirt and a tie.
The People’s Teacher clenched his fists.
Crack, crack...
The air burst in his palms. This monstrous strength rivalled even Woodcutter Buck, though the People’s Teacher’s monster strength lay only in his fists, not other parts of his body.
Black Bee crouched low, knowing one punch from him, and he’d be severely injured if not instantly killed.
Dong!
The People’s Teacher punched the ground, making it shatter and spray around like surging sea water.
Boom!
The air burst, and the People’s Teacher appeared behind Black Bee, his right arm bent, hurling a punch at the back of Black Bee’s head. If the People’s Teacher was shaved bald, he would’ve looked perfectly fitting for it.
The fist pierced through the air, bringing a terrifying wind pressure to Black Bee’s hindbrain. At that moment, he felt a tingling sensation at the back of his head, throbbing in pain even before being hit.
Black Bee vanished into thin air, the People’s Teacher’s punch missed, and an air cannon formed by the punch’s force barreled forward. With a thunderous boom, the opposing residential building was punctured, leaving a hole over a dozen meters in diameter.
In the Arakawa Adventure Group, Qing Ye wasn’t the strongest; that title belonged to the People’s Teacher.
Appearing not far away, Black Bee’s mouth twitched. His opponent was too strong—monstrously so. What he didn’t know was that Reincarnation Paradise had five more of such monsters.
Amid the swirling dust, the white-shirted People’s Teacher emerged, rolling up his sleeves. The previous punch was but a probe, not his full strength.
Elemental Bees fluttered around Black Bee as he lunged at the People’s Teacher, knowing that running would eventually lead to death. Engaging in combat to find a chance to escape was a wiser move.
Ten minutes later, grasping a severed metal arm, the People’s Teacher stood amidst the ruins. His upper garment was torn in many places, and the metal arm belonged to Black Bee.
"He managed to escape again."
The People’s Teacher looked at the metal arm in his grasp. With a crack, the arm made from rare metal was crushed.
A kilometer away, with a splash, a bloodied figure collapsed onto the beach. Struggling to get up, he could only chuckle in despair seeing the sight before him.
Waves tens of meters high rolled in—a tsunami was coming.
