Monroe walked toward Su Xiao at a relaxed pace, golden footprints appearing wherever he stepped. The gold radiance on his body became even more dazzling.

With a swish, slash marks suddenly appeared on the stones and furniture near Su Xiao; the cut surfaces were smooth as mirrors—these were his earlier cleaves.

Seeing those broken stones and furniture, Su Xiao judged that the Monroe in front of him wasn’t an Illusion. Not only that, the other party had indeed been hit by his slash; it was just that the cleave had been transferred elsewhere.

Second, while the enemy was inside this Barrier, he could use an Ability similar to "Word and Law." This Ability was very similar to that of a certain Alchemist from the Forbidden World of Magic, a technique called The Golden Danya Technique.

The Golden Danya Technique used personal conviction to change reality, whereas Monroe used Luck to change reality. That was how he could ignore Su Xiao’s cleaves.

This Ability looked powerful, but when Su Xiao used his own eyes as the wager, he found its weakness: when Monroe used this Ability, he couldn’t simultaneously maintain the attack-transfer Ability.

Moreover, when Monroe used Luck to change reality, both times he had stood still. Su Xiao didn’t know whether that was a weakness or something the other man did on purpose.

Monroe’s Ability would greatly cut the enemy’s Speed, but it had a drawback: when the enemy attacked, it was equivalent to them wearing Gravity Armor. If someone in that state hit him, in less than three strikes the surrounding Domain would be shattered.

Monroe pointed at Su Xiao. The moment the words left his mouth, a Blade Aura slashed toward him. This was a Long Range attack—it wouldn’t get boosted by Gravity; in fact, it would be weakened.

Monroe’s masseter muscles bulged as he decided to take this one head-on.

A hum rang in Su Xiao’s skull. His head involuntarily pitched forward, a Blunt Attack thudding into the back of his head, like being smashed by an Air Hammer.

Blood exploded across Monroe’s chest. He had failed to be Immune to this Blade Aura; while using Luck to change reality, he couldn’t transfer the attack.

Monroe’s hands formed a hollow grip, and a massive Golden Light Ball appeared between his palms.

A shrill buzzing spread out. Monroe compressed the Golden Light Ball in his hands to the size of an apple, terrifying energy roiling inside it.

Just as Monroe was about to fling the Light Ball, Su Xiao abruptly vanished from where he stood and appeared behind Monroe.
