Chapter 393: Collabs
Chapter 393: Collabs
While the office was left with a frustrated person, unable to vent it anywhere, back at the parking lot, Carmen was worried about the plan.
Or more specifically, the fate of Wei Xing.
"Can Xing handle the backlash alone, Guild Leader?" Carmen knitted her brows and asked softly. "Your plan is unheard of, and I must applaud the method to hinder the spies or stream snipers, but isn't the risk too much?"
Her analysis wasn't wrong, given that one out of 1000 viewers might be a stream sniper or spies sent by others. Sacrificing 999 potential viewers to catch that one sneaky spy was simply not worth the effort.
"I understand your concern, but the Vanguard was never one to walk the easy path." Xu Feng chuckled and unlocked the door.
After he adjusted his seat and Carmen buckled her seatbelt, Xu Feng turned on the auto-drive function with the navigation to drive back to her hotel.
"Vanguard is really an unconventional guild." Toward this point, Carmen didn't disagree with it.
There weren't many restrictions on the guild members. In fact, aside from the ones that offended the guild, many were actually given a lot of benefits.
Just the mere fact that many guild members could enjoy discounts and an easy life was enough to entice many to continue to work hard for the guild of their own free will.
Currently, players in Star Falls City are actually in a good state thanks to Xu Feng's meticulous arrangement. The monsters nearby might not be much, but if players were to explore a bit further, they could actually grind for monsters.
Although the monsters were high-level, requiring a team of 10 people or more, the Guild Emblem bonus helped alleviate their insignificant attributes.
Additionally, Xu Feng's blacksmith store offered a 30 percent discount to outer members to repair the durability of their equipment.
Such discounts were superior to other cities.
Due to this, the Reaver Guild couldn't attempt to sow discord among the regular players to cause chaos in the Vanguard guild. Their overlord status aside, the benefits and treatment were good, rendering their actions hopeless.
If it wasn't because of all these factors, Carmen seriously doubted Hundred Ghost would come and beg them for mercy.
Sometime later, Xu Feng parked near the entrance of the hotel. "How long will you stay here for?"
"Hmm, I originally planned on staying for 2 days but then I changed my mind." Carmen pursed her lips and replied.
"Eh, why did you change your mind?" Confused, he tilted his head to the side slightly.
"The update." Carmen responded, and continued, "Once the update hits, there should be a lot of new changes and I can't afford to be behind."
Hearing that, Xu Feng quickly realized that Carmen had become addicted to the Divine World.
"You are already ahead of the majority of people. There's no need to rush." Xu Feng lightly said.

"You foolish Guild Leader. If I don't rush, then how will others perceive our guild if their Commander Rank is severely behind." She rolled her eyes, and with a puff, she exited out of the vehicle.
Temporarily stunned, Xu Feng rolled down the window and asked, "Shall I drive you to the airport tomorrow then?"
"Forget it, you just get that livestream ready." Carmen waved her hand and swiftly entered the hotel.
Once her presence could no longer be seen, Xu Feng grabbed his phone and was about to text her to inform him when she returned safely until a new message appeared.
'Kai?' Unsure of what he wanted at this time, Xu Feng finished texting Carmen before opening it.
Zhao Kai: Feng, come to the Zhao Enterprise headquarters now. My sis said if you don't show up soon, then she's going to skin me alive. [begging emoji]
Near the end of the message, Zhao Kai even resorted to a begging emoji to ensure his message was taken seriously.
Glancing at his phone, Xu Feng twitched his mouth.
"Xing said that multiple guilds wished to collaborate with us, but since I didn't give a response, they are probably anxious now." He murmured.
Without a clear instruction from him, Wei Xing dared not take any individual action, resulting in ghosting all these guilds.
Since the update would be finished soon, Zhao Xin was naturally anxious due to her affiliation with the Silver Wind guild.
So what better way to confirm the matter than to contact him— someone supposedly with a high ranking in the Vanguard guild?
Adjusting his glasses, Xu Feng knew Zhao Xin was using her little brother to force him to show up.
Such a method might work, but who was he?
Without hesitation, Xu Feng replied to the message with a friendly smile on his face.
Xu Feng: I'll prepare a funeral ceremony for you. Rest in peace, brother.
As the message was sent, within the Zhao Enterprise, Zhao Kai, who was currently surrounded by two women, had his expression turned ashen white.
"So, what did Feng respond?" Zhao Xin questioned softly, her gaze locking deeply on his.
"We don't have much time left." Feng Qing Rou, otherwise known as Gentle Wind in the Divine World said as she glanced at her watch. "There's less than 10 hours before the Divine World goes live, and we need to make ample preparations."
"Relax Qing Rou, I've already made a lot of preparations. Once the deal is finalized, I can get my people to work on it quickly." Zhao Xin smiled lightly on the side.
The sight was truly quite comedic, given the rational ones were usually Gentle Wind in the Divine World whereas Zhao Xin was the impulsive and somewhat troublemaker kind.
Yet once they were back in the real world, the situation was switched almost instantaneously, with Zhao Xin being the calm and rational leader.
"Anyway, when will Feng arrive?" Zhao Xin returned back to the topic and said, "I need to have a thorough discussion with him on how to proceed with the livestream."
Zhao Kai smiled bitterly and wanted to run away in this instance. 'Feng is really a cunning and heartless four-eye person ever.'
