The inner section was usually quiet and spacious because only certain individuals qualified to stay in it.

But at this moment, the inner section was nearly crammed to the brim. Many members who were in session 2.9 and session 3.0 were eligible to enter the inner section to spectate.

"I can’t believe I just got promoted to Session 3.0 and I get to watch the Guild Leader attempt the difficult 3.1." A Vanguard Member clenched their fists excitedly.

"You really are lucky then." Another member exclaimed. "I have attempted three times and failed all of them. It was always just by a little bit."

"A little bit? Stop the cap, brother. I saw you get annihilated within 10 seconds of starting the session."

"Shut up! You’re no better when you only did better than me by like 5 seconds despite having higher attributes and a better class than me."

"What do attributes and class have to do with this?"

"It has to do with everything! You’re a Swordsman while I’m just a cleric. I’m slow and vulnerable in general!"

As the two different classes clashed and became heated, the other members quickly tried to separate the two and pacified the situation.

Usually, this kind of scene was quite common and occurred outside the Training Hall. Of course, there were times when it still happened inside the Training Hall.

Emotional fluctuations were not something one could easily control and manage.

However, that kind of control needed to be on point today because their Guild Leader was going to arrive soon.

If their farces were caught by the Guild Leader, then that was a game-over moment.

"Ahem, quiet down!"

Right at this moment, a voice echoed to try to dispel the commotion.

They wanted to help, but now that their Guild Commander had arrived. Only a fool would still help these two.

As the two quickly realized they were isolated and treated like aliens by their fellow guildmates, they wanted to cry.

Why were they so unlucky?

Others had bantered before, but none of them were caught red-handed in such a situation.

And even then, the person catching them wouldn’t have such a status as Carmen.

"W-We’re sorry, Guild Commander!"

The two of them promptly lowered their heads and apologized.

’What’s with these two?’ Contrary to these two people’s fear, Carmen simply arrived and told the rest to quiet down. She didn’t even know what these two had done for them to suddenly apologize to her.

’Am I that scary? It can’t be, right? Did Feng rub off his intimidation aura on me?’ She wondered silently. Being entangled with him throughout the night would certainly cause her not to suspect this kind of thing could happen.

She glanced at these two people. She tried to remember them but realized they were too low ranks for her to pay attention.

Tier 2 Swordsman Abyss Flame and Tier 2 Cleric Berry Night. Both of them were recently promoted to Tier 2 with a somewhat decent hidden class.

Still, Carmen was once again traumatized by session 3.1 when even Tier 2 could fail the test multiple times.

After all, the test itself wasn’t attributed to your tier power. Instead, it was attributed to your combat experience, movement, and critical thinking at a drastic time.

"Return to your position, Abyss Flame and Berry Night." Carmen waved her hand and instructed.

"The Guild Leader will arrive soon, so I hope there won’t be a commotion again. You can discuss among yourselves when the Guild Leader is demonstrating the test." She continued, speaking in a demeanor that befitted the Guild Commander’s position.

As for how she learned to speak in such a manner, it was courtesy to Veronica.

Under her strict lecture, Carmen nearly cried tears of pain when she finally got the passing grade after 1 hour and something.

But now that she saw how the guild members behaved like docile children, she realized the effort was all worth it.

’Hehe, being the one in command is nice sometimes.’ She thought to herself.

Still, that feeling only lingered for a brief moment before she came to notice that almost everyone’s attention was on her.

Although she didn’t have stage fright or anything, being stared at by so many at once was kind of pressuring and intimidating.

It was only now that she was mesmerized by how amazing Xu Feng was to always be in the center and facing such a crowd with confidence. Though she was already long mesmerized, this retaliation simply increased her admiration.

Just when she was feeling a bit overwhelmed, Xu Feng finally arrived in a shocking manner.

Even Carmen’s eyes widened in disbelief when she saw him.

"Guild Leader... you..." She raised her finger and pointed at his near-naked gear. He was donning on the most basic gear ever.

Not to mention her, even the others were stupefied.

"Our Guild Leader is not equipping any gear?"

"This is awesome!"

"Crap... I think I shat my pants!"

"No need, Guild Leader." Excited, the guild members quickly shook their hands and smiled sheepishly.

"Haha, I see. I hope you won’t feel bad later on because I’m not going to take responsibility for that." Xu Feng teased.
