"I wouldn’t claim to be the most elusive and mysterious one, Miss Jeanette." Xu Feng didn’t take any offense and replied in amusement.

Jeanette’s expression was rather cold. She narrowed her eyes and found a seat. "Speak, what do you want from me? To think that you could even get the empire to ban me from getting supplies. You really want to destroy me deeply, eh?"

"What did I do to you?" She asked angrily. She was certain that her involvement with the suppression against the Vanguard Guild in the chamber aspect was unknown to him.

After all, she only provided them with potions while staying hidden from the public eye.

’He can’t possibly know about my involvement!’ She thought to herself.

Alas, her expectation was shattered when Xu Feng took out a Death Potion from his inventory.

Still, she remained composed and feigned ignorance of the ordeal.

"This Death Potion... isn’t it quite trash?" Xu Feng said in a taunting tone.

’Trash? That’s one of my best-selling potions.’ Jeanette suppressed her internal anger. She couldn’t afford to slip up and let him know that she was related to the Death Potion.

However, her resistance would prove futile when Xu Feng repeatedly undermined her creation.

"This Death Potion is truly useless. The Miracle Pavilion tried to use this trash against us, and look at where it got them? Do you agree with me?"

"Agree?"

Jeanette was on the verge of throwing hands.

"Anyway, I’m not that heartless." Xu Feng calmly said and gave her an option. "I can provide you with the resources you need to help your creation. But in return, you must join our Vanguard Guild and stay loyal."

Jeanette’s expression turned cold. She was dissatisfied with this so-called condition, which would practically make her become the guild’s slave.

Just when she was about to be rejected, Xu Feng directly handed her a contract.

Initially disdainful, the moment she began to read through the contract, her pupils constricted. ’Motherfucker, how am I supposed to reject when the conditions are this good?’
