Reincarnation Games: Yukino's Mother Is Too Forward
Chapter 680 Yoruichi: What Are You Doing? Makoto: Doing You
On the other side, Makoto's group also returned to Hueco Mundo.
They met up with Yu and Harribel, who had withdrawn from the battlefield early, in the plaza.
And standing between Yu and Harribel was one more person.
It was the Quincy girl they had just captured from the Living World... Kurosaki Masaki.
"Raaaargh—!!!"
White, pinned under Yu's foot, let out one furious roar after another.
Its limbs had been blown off by Yu's consecutive shots just moments ago.
But within a few minutes, those severed limbs had completely regenerated under High-Speed Regeneration.
Yu gave it another hard kick, the gunstock slamming into its head with a dull metallic thud. "Quiet!"
"U-um, ex-excuse me, are you all Hollows?"
Masaki forced an awkward yet polite smile.
The atmosphere was too awkward, and her naturally cheerful personality made her want to say something.
"What do you think?"
Makoto looked at her with a smile, feeling like he had once again significantly altered the plot's course by capturing Ichigo's mother.
In the original work, Masaki had met and fallen in love with Isshin after the White incident, giving birth to Ichigo, the greatest hybrid cheat of the three worlds.
Now that she was in Hueco Mundo, that whole romance was probably dead in the water.
Psykos had already stepped forward, extending her index finger to lift Kurosaki Masaki's chin.
"Exactly what's so special about you, girl?"
"P-please, don't..."
Masaki shrank back uncomfortably.
The original manga never gave a specific explanation for why White had chosen Masaki.
But combining Aizen's later evaluations of Ichigo and the power imprint White left behind after possessing Masaki, one could roughly deduce the reason—
During the battle, White had sensed some kind of pure-blood Quincy trait in Masaki that could help it break through its own power limitations, reaching a new level that couldn't be achieved through Shinigami and Hollow power alone.
This was also evidenced by the future three-worlds top mutt, Kurosaki Ichigo.
That kid had inherited the powers of his Shinigami father, Quincy mother, and White, reaching a level that even Yhwach had to take seriously.
Just as Makoto was sorting through these thoughts, Masaki suddenly clasped her hands together, with a silly smile on her face.
"U-um... I-I won't tell anyone about any of you! So, so could you please let me go?"
She knew it probably wouldn't work, but she couldn't think of anything else.
Makoto glanced at this simple-minded girl, a meaningful smile curling at the corner of his mouth. "That won't do, Miss Quincy. You've seen a bit too much."
Masaki took a half-step back, startled by his smile.
That line sounded just like a villain about to silence someone in a TV drama.
Fortunately, Makoto had no intention of silencing her. He changed his tone. "For the time being, you'll be staying in Hueco Mundo. As a pure-blood Quincy, you should be quite helpful to Psykos's research."
Psykos also flashed a sinister grin that made Masaki's back run cold, clamping her hands on Masaki's shoulders from behind. "Don't worry, little sister. Big sis will try not to hurt you too much."
"How could this be..."
Masaki's head drooped in despair.
Out of the frying pan and into the fire!
Yoruichi blinked beside them, sneaking a glance at Makoto's profile.
She was sure that the only reason this dog of a man was being so patient was because the girl was pretty.
If it had been a male pure-blood Quincy, Yoruichi had no doubt Makoto would have chopped him into pieces and handed him over to Psykos.
Before Yoruichi could finish muttering to herself, Makoto suddenly grabbed her wrist and dragged her toward the adjacent bedroom without explanation.
"Hey... what are you doing!"
Yoruichi stumbled at the pull.
"Doing you."
With that, he pushed open the bedroom door, pressing Yoruichi's head down toward his crotch.
"Remember our deal?"
Kneeling on the floor, Yoruichi looked up and gave him a fierce eye-roll.
With a rip, the little black cat, her hands trembling, unzipped his pants, lowered her head, and the room echoed with rhythmic swallowing sounds.
"Gulp... gulp... gulp..."
…
Meanwhile, in the Soul Society, Seireitei.
Aizen was sitting alone in the 5th Division's Captain's office.
Several stacks of freshly reviewed division documents were neatly arranged on his desk.
In his hands, he was flipping through a recent graduation exam score sheet from the Shin'o Academy.
Aside from his position as 5th Division's Captain, Aizen held two other titles... president of the Seireitei Calligraphy Club and a specially appointed lecturer at the Shin'o Academy.
Like right now, all he had to do was request a score sheet from the academic office in his capacity as a lecturer, and he could learn everything about the Shin'o Academy's current state.
Looking at the overall ranking of the academy's graduates, from top to bottom: Yuuki Asuna, Shirogane Kei, Kotegawa Chisa... Aizen scanned down the list, noticing that most of the top spots were occupied by female students.
The male students he mostly only remembered a few faces from that practical exercise years ago... Hisagi Shuhei, Abarai Renji, Kira Izuru.
Other than them, there hadn't been any male students worth noting in recent years.
It felt like over the past few decades, female Shinigami had been showing exceptionally high talent, a phenomenon quite rare in the Shin'o Academy's history.
However, these outstanding female graduates had all joined the 7th Division.
In recent decades, under Saeko's management, the 7th Division had become a completely all-female division.
'And that division's Captain was that crazy woman, Saeko.'
That was indeed how Aizen privately viewed Saeko.
Though that woman always seemed like a gentle, refined Yamato Nadeshiko on the surface,
Aizen could see through it. Those were all just a facade.
Aizen believed that Saeko's true nature was of the same type as 4th Division's Captain Unohana.
Hidden beneath that gentle exterior was a deeply bloodthirsty heart.
Turning a woman like that into a brainless fanatic like Tosen or Momo... honestly, even Aizen wasn't confident he could do it.
So... could he persuade her to join his rebellion against the Soul Society?
Sigh. With too many useless subordinates, even this cinematic mastermind of the anime world was getting anxious.
Aizen rubbed his brow and finally decided to find the right time to probe Saeko's stance.
He didn't need to fully reveal his hand, just casually gauge her views on the Soul Society's current state during idle conversation.
Even if he couldn't truly win her loyalty, using her to deal with Makoto would be enough.
After it was all over, if that female Shinigami knew her place, he'd let her live.
If she didn't, he'd deal with her and Makoto together.
After all, Aizen never had much interest in women anyway. In the original work, he hadn't blinked before striking down Harribel.
Just then, a cautious knock came from outside the door, accompanied by that familiar voice: "Captain Aizen, the Captain-Commander is summoning all Captains and Lieutenants to the 1st Division's barracks for an emergency meeting."
"Thank you, Hinamori. Please wait for me." Aizen switched his voice back to its gentle tone. Truly, the number one cinematic mastermind of the anime world was terrifying.
For Yamamoto to suddenly call an emergency Captains' Meeting at this time, he could basically guess what it was about.
Though the evaluation of 'gentle on the surface, manic within' also fit Aizen perfectly.
