Chapter 790 - 790: A fundamentally special kind of fight (part 12)

It took a moment for Karla to understand what Aisha was implying, and when she did, disdain appeared on the mermaid-siren's face.

"What nonsense are you talking about, do you want to throw my own words back at me so much that you are making up such a lie…", Karla's words stopped midway as she was interrupted by Aisha saying.

"Just because you can't do it, it doesn't mean something is "impossible", little fish at the bottom of a well, a domain might be considered the trait of the Arch rank, but given that it can be trained into an advanced version of it, and then a battle domain, it is ultimately a "technique", and I'm a spell alchemist so why should I stop at having only one then", said the silver-haired vampire mother.

The last remaining piece of the violet armor which was covering Aisha's body, made its appearance, namely the helmet.

"Booooom!", violet energy radiated out of Aisha's body to then turn into a giant pillar of the same color that raised high into the sky, crossing the demonite field to then reach the heavenly silver firmament domain above.

As a result, countless small violet lights as well as a single one which outstood from the rest given its larger size, appeared within and "above" the heavenly silver firmament, which actually made the latter expand, not sidewards but upwards.

If the heavenly silver firmament originally was around six kilometers thick, now that had tripled, it was very much needed, since the violet energy agglomerations looked "small" from below but that was because of the distance, the smaller energy spheres had a diameter of one kilometer and that single large one which stood directly above where Aisha was floating, had a diameter of twelve kilometers.

"Violet Empress Domain, Majestic Celestial Bodies", said Aisha whose pretty violet eyes were shinning in a bright light of the same color currently, amusingly enough Karla now had two pretty girls wearing full body armor floating at the distance in front of her, one was Freya with her grey silver metal armor and the other one was Aisha with her violet amethyst energy armor.

But that little eye-catching aesthetic detail is not what was driving the mermaid-siren crazy right now, but the fact that Aisha actually had a second domain.

Because having more than one affinity doesn't mean one would get another Arch rank trait for it, you have seen this many times before, the domain or battle avatar will instead have more than one element imbued into it, if the owner is capable enough to implement it, because more affinities actively used means a stronger toll on one's mana circuits, magic core and/or life spark.

Daimon is a perfect example of the previous, his manifestation phenomenon is at the level of a domain due to how many different affinities are included into it, but at the same time it puts a lot of strain on his body to use it for that same reason, normally in such cases the ideal is to seal away the extra affinities and either train to master them or discard them completely.

Because people don't get more traits separately, it's a single one and this one either englobes everything or selected parts of it, those are the known options.

And yet here we are seeing a new one, Aisha actually has a second domain, one that is exclusively for her blood energy, which is also a first for her, after all back when she was at the peak of the Arch rank, her domain combined both her lightning and metal affinities, she was famous for it.

Perhaps this the result of her becoming a novice spell alchemist, a profession that surpasses those whose knowledge tomes are available for Daimon as of current, alongside the effect of her "perfect harmony hybrid" ability, which made it so that her energies would never get in the way of the other, unless Aisha herself wished for it to happen, so she could perfectly separate them to create another domain.

Seeing the disdainful expression on Aisha's pretty face as she dispelled the helmet's frontal piece, which was like that of a noble looking down on a peasant who is taken aback over seeing a luxurious residence or a big city for the first time, Karla coldly snorted.

"Humph, you have more than one domain, so what, both of them are single element ones, my mythical black storm sea domain has four elements into it, you simply lowered the requirements to have more, that would also explain why you can cover such a large area with it", said the mermaid-siren to which Aisha chuckled.

"Really, then why are the "mighty" protectors of your domain, bowing in the presence of my violet blood stars", said the silver-haired vampire mother as she snapped her fingers.

"Booooom!", as if an invisible hammer had hit the giant battle mana eagle, snake, shark and crab, they were shot down from the sky and despite they fighting back against the pressure radiated by the violet blood stars as Aisha called them, they couldn't let alone float close to the same height as Aisha, but even look upwards in her direction.

In other words, from Aisha and also Freya's point of view as well given that they were floating next to each other, the four direction protectors were indeed "bowing" at them.

But as humiliating as the previous sounded, if that was all, then Aisha wouldn't be living up to the fact that by using more than one domain she was reaching the later parts of "Plan B" strength.

"Crack!", the violet blood moon which was that sole large violet energy sphere floating directly above Aisha, also made its presence noticeable by radiating pressure on a different level, which made cracks spread all over the roof of Karla's battle domain.

'What!', inwardly exclaimed the mermaid-siren who felt as if she was slapped on the face, both literally and figuratively, since her four-element battle domain was being pressured by two single element domains, and because the little backslash she suffered made a thin line of blood to appear on the corner of her mouth.

"What are you damn fools doing, get up here this instant and rip that bitch to shreds!", angrily shouted Karla at the four direction protectors who in response let out animalistic sounds.

"Hissss!", the first was the snake which produced a loud hissing sound as it had the symbols of the rules Karla had integrated into her, appear on its body, before it projected a small wind battle mana field only large enough to cover the snake's body.

"Screee!", the eagle was next and the result was apparently going to be the same, but then Freya's voice was like a bucket of cold water tossed at Karla.

"You made all those magic beasts burn their souls just so that these four could use a "manifestation phenomenon" of sorts", Freya's voice was calm, but it was clear that she was angry.

On one hand, Karla did give her army something that the blood specters didn't have, a realm trait, in this case it was a Lord realm one, but the price for it was disgusting from the valkyrie girl's perspective.

"Conceptual Banner", once again no new technique was casted by Freya, however she did use her good old one in a new way, this time she created four banners all of which floated above her battle avatar.

The first two were the "knight" and "mage" ones and the result of their conflict was instantly obtained, the "knight" one won.

However, the second set of banners which had the words "close range" and "long range" engraved on them, yeah, the first banners to have more than a single word engraved in them had appeared, but that by itself really didn't mean anything especial, it's just that what Freya has been making go to "war" had been perfectly represented with a single word so far, the truth is that she could use more than one word for the banners, though, each extra word indeed consumed more energy.

But the important part was the command used to start their clash.

"Strategic Conflict", said Freya as she pointed her right hand at the "long range" banner, which made the "close range" one crumble apart on the spot, as a result both the grey silver energy released by the first set of banners and the second one, merged to create… a bow.

'So that's the improvement Freya's energy and technique obtained after she reached the peak of the Arch rank, she can now under certain circumstances decide which side she wants to win the clash', thought Aisha.

That's right, with "conflict" Freya doesn't have direct control over which side will come out on top, it's a direct comparation and while the effect won't be negative, it will be weakened if her side is the one to lose in the conflict.

But "strategic conflict" is different, when using this command, she can choose which side she wants to win the clash, of course there are restrictions, this one can't be used on an enemy directly unlike "conflict" and the options in the banners can't be too far apart one from the other.

The previous command originated in the fact that sometimes to win a war some battles must be lost on purpose, deceiving the enemy is a thing in war and well, Freya's powers are war related.

In this case, Freya used the technique on herself and the options were close and long range as in weapons, then she directly chose long range and that's why a bow made out of her energy appeared.

And yes, given the conditions for "strategic conflict" to be used, the previous meant that Freya was almost, if not equally skilled in long range combat as she is in close range one, something that made Karla grit her teeth.

"Weren't you a damn close range focused knight!", exclaimed the mermaid-siren to which Freya actually nodded.

"Originally I had specialized in short and middle range combat, but since the system forced me to use mana, I learned to fight at long range, so I can do things like these", said the valkyrie girl as she made her battle avatar fully draw the string of the bow, making a single grey silver flaming arrow appear on it, to then shot it at the eagle magic beast.

"Booooom!", there were two sets of explosions echoing through the battlefield, the first was produced when the arrow was shot by Freya's battle avatar, attacks with weapons created through her conceptual banner technique are on equal standing as martial arts used through proper replica weapons in case you had the doubt.

Not to mention that each different weapon seemed to carry a different "rule" from Karla's perspective at least, but that's not true, Freya only has one rule and that is "war", however her mastery and application of it was monstrously vast.

Like previously stated, she was somewhat of the counterpart of Aisha, given that Freya seemed to be the type to have "less" options, but way more properties for them, while Aisha had a more options with focused properties but she created variety by combining them.

Anyway, the point is that the "severing" and "piercing" which Karla had thought were Freya's rules, were only laws part of the "war" rule that Freya had, which she was limited to use due to the restrictions of the system, but said restrictions were eliminated by Daimon's origin, so yeah, the mermaid-siren was in for a little scare right now.

Karla's eyes contracted like needles as she placed her hands in front of her, making a spiraling water and wind battle mana pillar surround her on the spot.

"Mythical Black Storm Sea, Tempest Torrent Shield!", she shouted just in time for the second set of explosions to echo through the battlefield.

"Booooom!", you might wonder why did Karla suddenly cast a defensive battle spell around her if the arrow was shot at the eagle and the answer is simple, once released not only did the arrow move insanely fast, but it also multiplied exactly by five, one arrow for each enemy, that was the law of the war rule applied to that bow, "propagation", which in other words meant that with a single shot, all the enemies will be attacked, without affecting the power of each attack too at that.

"Crack!", Karla had managed to react and while the giant energy arrow half tore through her defensive battle spell, she was ultimately able to defend herself, the four protectors on the other hand, weren't so lucky.

The eagle and the shark were directly blasted to pieces by the arrows shot at them, the snake which was the only one that had its manifestation phenomenon surrounding it, lost the lower part of its body, while the crab which though also didn't have the Lord rank trait to protect it, had its carapace and so the arrow did reach him but it was now stuck unto his body, which made cracks appear on it, but was actually in a less bad of a state than the snake.

And the bad news kept coming because while the four protectors were recovering from their wounds, or regenerating from zero in the case of the shark and the eagle, the heavenly silver firmament as well as the majestic violet blood stars above shone as Aisha snapped her fingers.

"Majestic Silver Empress, Celestial Lightning Descend", with Aisha's words, silver electric arcs with violet starlight borders crackled above in the sky to then descend upon Karla.

"God damn it!", cursed the mermaid-siren, it wasn't only Aisha the one attacking her, Freya had manifested another arrow on her bow, and the four protectors clearly fell short in their supposed labor to block one of those two for Karla.

"Mythical Black Storm Sea, Tempest Torrent Hurricane!", for a change Karla actually protected her subordinates, because she used a wide area battle spell which created a huge hurricane with her as the center, just in time for the lightning and the arrows shot by Aisha and Freya towards them to reach the battle spell.

Normally trying to block a lightning rain with a battle spell that used water mana wouldn't be a good idea, but air is a poor electricity conductor so Karla wasn't that bad of a match, the darkness element would have normally helped too, but Aisha's lightning is of an extreme positive orientation so that was nullified.

As for Freya, her energy is metal and fire related at its base, so the corrosive blood and the darkness water mana used by Karla were what aimed to block it, because the fierce wind and the hell wind mana were like fuel for it, even in that aspect Aisha and Freya seemed to complement the other.

"Booooom!", not like even if fighting against elements that should have had an advantage over theirs or counter theirs in a sense, mattered for those two, but when they attacked together, Karla was in for a beating, as her hurricane being ultimately blasted away, suggested.

"Ack!", the explosion sent Karla flying right at the ground where she landed face first to then end up buried in a pile of debris, while the four protectors which had just recovered were destroyed by those two's techniques, once again.

Aisha and Freya didn't stop there, they both casted their techniques at Karla, whose eyes had become bloodshot as she saw her current state.

"That's enough you damn bitches, "Mythical Black Storm Sea, Malicious and Benevolent Executioners!", shouted Karla as she stormed her way out of the pile of debris where she was buried a second ago.

The impact of Aisha and Freya's attacks didn't hurt her much, physically, but her ego did take a big blow considering how her battle mana armor and clothes had been ripped apart and she had some scratches here and there, which made her look like a beggar, not to mention that the four protectors were basically rendered useless, like previously stated, humiliation was worse than death for the jealous little mermaid-siren.

"Clang!", the celestial lightning descend and the arrows shot by Aisha and Freya were stopped, the lightning descend was blocked by Karla's hurricane battle spell, but Freya's arrows were blocked by two figures.

One was a feather winged snake while the other was a shark with carapace-like armor covering its body, those were the "executioners" which resulted from the snake devouring the eagle and the shark devouring the coconut crab.

"What, no ritual shield this time and also "executioners", where have I heard something similar before?", mockingly said Aisha, referring to the "execution" guillotine and demon sword which she used before, this was just a coincidence of course, but the insinuation that she was imitating Aisha made Karla grit her teeth as she shouted.

"Mythical Black Storm Sea, Tempest Torrent Maelstrom Calamity!", Karla pointed her trident at Aisha as she released a huge lateral spiraling stream of water and wind battle mana at the silver-haired vampire girl.

The feathered winged snake and the armored shark which had their manifestation phenomena clad around their bodies and despite not having increased their realm, having increased their battle prowess, charged at Freya with their wings and fins, transformed into "weapons" by solidifying battle mana on them, clearly going for a physical clash against the valkyrie girl.

"Mmm, looks like two domains don't make you feel cornered enough to go all out, very well, what about three~", said Aisha which made Karla's eyes contract like needles as she shouted.

"Forget about Freya, kill the silver-haired bitch now!", and so both Karla's battle spell and the two executioners were now aiming to attack Aisha whose pretty silver wings shone in a metallic grey-white colored energy, that was the tone of Aisha's metal energy which haven't been imbued with the properties of any of the special magic metals she has focused in, it does resemble the color of demonite except for the part where it doesn't shine as much, because well, demonite is Aisha's original and exclusive magic metal.

In terms of strength Aisha's metal energy without any special property, is as strong as demonite which includes basically all of them though in a balanced way instead of a focused one like when Aisha specifically uses devil sea ore, antinite and the like, but Aisha's normal metal energy lacks said special properties.

She theorized that once she completes her fourth challenge, her metal energy will be demonite's one by innate, similar to how Daimon's affinity is demon light by default, he simply separates it into mana or battle aura, of darkness, light, lightning, and the like, for public matters.

"Clang!", now it was the time for Karla to have her attacks blocked, by the good old metal defensive field projected by Aisha's wings, which then expanded outwards not only deviating Karla's battle spell, but also forcing the two executioners aside to then drag them downwards and bury them as the defensive field took a liquid form for a second, before accommodating on the "ground", to then solidify, essentially creating a metal platform as big as the heavenly silver firmament above, but this one floated at low altitude instead.

"White Empress Domain, Demon Paradise World", said Aisha, her metal domain had suppressed the two executioners which Karla had just "created", and with Aisha's third and last domain out, the pressure exuded by the silver-haired vampire mother which had been countered by Karla's battle domain so far, once again directly hit the mermaid-siren.

"Crack!", the word "hit" was used both literally and figuratively here by the way, as the sound of Karla's bones shattering just by being exposed to Aisha's domains, suggested.

"Agh!", she directly spewed blood but couldn't spare any attention to recovering because Freya had created two banners with the words "light" and "heavy" engraved in them.

"Strategic Conflict", the valkyrie girl chose and thus, the energy resulting from the banners burning, turned into winged boots, weapons are not the only type of equipment used in "war" after all, the result was that Freya used her sole technique as a movement type one this time.

Also, while the bow was mounted on the back of her battle avatar, "she" was holding onto the spear and sword that weren't disappearing as easy as before, courtesy of the improvement of her energy when she reached the peak of the Arch rank and used her battle avatar as well.

"Crack!", with the former, Freya blasted a hole through the tempest torrent hurricane which Karla had casted in a hurry to defend herself, and with the latter, Freya's battle avatar which had appeared in front of Karla… sliced the mermaid-siren in half vertically, under the cold glare of the valkyrie girl, who saw the two halves of Karla's body unite to then be turned into countless small cubes by her "severing" law.

"I'm not committing the same mistake twice", said Freya as she snapped her fingers from within her battle avatar.

"Aghhhh!", as a result the small cubes in which Karla has ben cut, lit up in grey silver flame energy, making the mermaid-siren which was pretty much alive, scream due to pain.
